Last Friday, we heard that Lindsay Lohan’s assistant/minder Elinore quit abruptly. My thought was that Lindsay must be even more of a f-cking diva mess when she’s relatively sober, and that the assistant must have had a much easier time handling Lindsay’s self-perpetuating drama when she’s f-cked up. The reasons TMZ provided at the time were that poor Elinore was exhausted, and that she’d had enough of Lindsay’s demands – oh, and Lindsay wasn’t paying her that much either. In the cold, sober, light of day, it turns out that someone working barely above minimum wage was the thin line between Lindsay’s cracked-out shenanigans and total chaos. TMZ reports that Lindsay is at the beginning of “a total unravel.” Um… you mean she was “raveled” before?
The woman who just quit Lindsay Lohan was not just an assistant — she was her lifeline — and LiLo’s friends are worried this is the beginning of a total unravel.
Friends of Lohan tell us Lindsay is going to have a hard time finding anyone reliable to sign on, and without an assistant she will never keep the appointments that could make the difference between freedom and jail.
For starters, Lindsay is legally prohibited from driving and relies on her assistant to take her here and there — including her alcohol ed courses.
We’re also told Lindsay is incredibly disorganized and can’t function without someone leading her by the nose. She seems incapable of scheduling meetings, doctor’s appointments, or work projects.
Bottom line … for us an assistant is a luxury. For Lindsay it’s make or break.

Yes, I can believe it. Even somewhat sober (debatable), Lindsay mind is crack’d. That’s the only way I can think of to describe it – she just seems like she can barely function in general. Maybe it’s just because I couldn’t imagine living like that, in perpetual drama, always f-cked up, drugged up, drunk, hysterical, crazed, narcissistic, and convinced of her own blamelessness. Oh… and now that Lindsay doesn’t have someone to drive her everywhere and put her into bed, do you think she’ll get behind the wheel again? Something tells me she will.
By the way, I mentioned yesterday that Lindsay and Gerard Butler were at the same pool party. Well, they made physical contact with each other – there are photos of the two of them embracing. Look at the photos here and tell me you didn’t just hear a million Centers for Disease Control hotline phones ringing.

Ok, now how old is Lindsey supposed to be right now? At least 24 or 25 right? Obviously she cant drive but you mean to tell me that she can’t keep a schedule. This is complete bs. The reason she can’t keep a schedule is because of the friends and family she has in her life that continue to take away her power by doing everything for her. This is like a bad episode of intervention. If she can get to the club every night she can make it to her meetings when they are scheduled. I bet she had no problem remembering the parties she was invited to at Cannes. I’m totally disgusted by this story.

Poor Lindsay i really do feel bad for her. With Dina & Michael as parents she never stood a chance.
She is a tallented actress but she’s wasting her tallent and life away.
When she first came out she just loved acting and was happy to do it, she even left a show to continue her studies which means that she used to have a level head but somewhare along the way Dina & Michael allowed her to be led astray into a life of underage partying and drugs all the while syphoning off her $$$. I really hope she gets it together soon, i miss the old Lindsay.

I vaguely remember having once read something about Gerard Butler having had alcohol problems during his 20s. Maybe he’s actually interested in helping Lindsay out? Then again, Lindsay’s not really interested in helping herself out, so that’s probably that.
Wow. Just wow. Like Blohan wasn’t unravelled in the first place? If that was ravelled, I’m am totally afraid of the mess that will ensue. I will also be totally entertained, because I’m like that with her.
If she can remember her party schedule, she can remember the bus schedule. It’s certainly not as glamorous, but it’s how us “little people” do it.

This is CLEARLY a play for future excuses why she will/did not arrive on time (or at all) for any subsequent court-related activities. Anyone remember when Spears missed a date because she wasn’t used to getting up early, or some such? And where did that get her? Financial and custodial lockdown.

OK everyone Im predicting we’ll have a statment from Dina Lohan exclaming “Lindy’s a CHILD leave her alone!” Soon be 24 year old child. I agree she was once talented, she’s ruined her beautiful red hair and I feel sorry for this girl and her sister.
You know what i am always amazed by. The fact that her ScarJo are relatively the same age, came to Hollywood about the same time, even competed for same of the same rolls as children each beating the other out respectively for the Horse Whisperer and The Parent Trap. Yet they could not be MORE different. One has her mother referring to her “as a child” while the other is reportedly adopting one (a child).
AMAZING is it not. The difference some ground rules in their adolescence and supportive family can make in a person’s life.
I wonder if she looks at old photos of herself and cries herself to sleep, or if she is so delusional that she belives she still looks like that? I mean, is there the slightest glimmer of self-awareness in there? I, for one, cannot tell.

I have a friend who’s a basket case and likely hooked on painkillers. The description of Lohan as unable to get her sh*t together and get anywhere on time or coherently sounds exactly like my friend. And guess what, my friend doesn’t have an assistant, so she’s lost her job, most of her friends, and is a complete walking disaster. So there you go – this is all typical addict behavior. I hope she can’t find a new assistant, misses court and finally gets some real help.

You know you guys are unbelievable this girl HAS ISSUES liek a real behavior disorder and you’re all over her. But for some one who is very much normal but pretends to have issues you think they’re beautiful/hot/sexy.
LL has NEVER lived on her own in her whole life. That’s not spoiled thats a caged soul. People like her suffer from various psychological trama and even cabin fever when they are kept in places too long.

the thing that most people fail to get is that Lohan is enjoying every single minute of this drama. she enjoys being the topic of discussion. part of the cure will come from us doing what we did to Speidi –but then look at the desperate measures those two sunk to just to keep us talking. so maybe there’s no cure.
Ok viper – then she should get HELP for her myriad of “issues.” It’s not like these issues just popped up yesterday, last week or last month. They have been going on for over a year. And I don’t believe Lindsay is THAT delusional or out-of-touch that she cannot see the harm she is inflicting on herself.
And if she won’t get that help on her own, her super-duper, wonderful mother should direct her to get help. And if that doesn’t work, then sorry, I cannot waste any more empathy on her choices.
