Kim Kardashian’s 14 year-old half sister, Kendall Jenner, has a new bikini photo shoot for some unknown reason. In one shot (above) Kendall poses in a tiny bikini with her legs up, giving the illusion that she’s not wearing anything on the bottom. It’s just way too provocative and sexy for such a young girl. I guess this is what you would expect when her mother used another daughter’s sex tape to skyrocket her family to fame. Kris Jenner said about Kim’s tape at the time “As a mother, I wanted to kill her. But as a manager, I knew that I had a job to do.” We all know that didn’t involve laying low until the scandal blew over.

This is not the same little sister who worked a stripper pole on the premiere of Keeping Up The Kardashians three years ago – that was Kendall’s even younger sister Kylie, then nine. That was back in 2007 when the Kardashians and their ilk weren’t on the cover of every tabloid promoting a weight loss product coupled with their mediocre brand of mindless mildly entertaining consumerism.
This is disturbing and I’m sorry for this child that she’s being encouraged to take and share photos like this. I guess we can expect to see more from Kendall and Kylie. Their mom knows that she “has a job to do” and that includes exploiting her teenage daughters’ sexuality for publicity and profit.
She`s really pretty. I think she will actually be good at modelling as she gets older..

I agree with most, if you want to model your portfolio needs to be ready between the age of 14 and 16. After that it is much harder to break out. However if you are a singer, then there is no reason to show it all off (Miley, Taylor…) Double standard? Maybe…

Yes, there is a double standard. You can’t call a 17 yr old in a unitard a slut and then say a 14 yr old in a bikini bottom is ok, because she is “modeling.” Either it’s wrong or it’s ok. People want to be able to pick and choose, but how is that fair?

Yeah that is really disturbing to see sexually provocative photos of a 14 year old. I was never a fan of the whole 14-15 year olds modeling like that anyway. This whole youth obsession is not pretty. Tyra was in her teens when she did sports illustrated.This is VERY normal in that world. I actually don’t see much wrong with these — if these were an ad for Billabong or Roxy noone would blink an eye. I think since she doesn’t appear to be doing this for a job it seems a bit exploitative. The eye makeup is a bit heavy as well, I think if she had a totally clean face it wouldn’t seem that inappropriate. Again, some companies such as Roxy aim at teens and I’m sure they use teen models, so hopefully at her age she aims for THAT kind of work rather than Sports Illustrated type of work.
Also in the header pic it’s pretty clear she’s wearing a bikini bottom.. you can see the ties on the side!

This is funny, I was actually at the location prior and during her shoot. I was there for the filming of an indie movie at the same location. Bruce dropped her off early and she spent HOURS in hair and make up. It was probably 7:45am when she got there and by 11:45am we were wrapping up on the location and she hadn’t even left the hair and make-up trailer. I am not saying she doesn’t have the chops for modeling, I am just saying it took a LOT of work to get her to this point even.
I wouldn’t say its provocative. It looks like the standard shots you would see in Teen Vogue. Plus she’s wearing a top over her bikini, in some of those shots. I mean yes she is 14, but most models start at the age.

And I will agree with Kim. The photography and lighting is dreadful for a professional. The diffuser is being held too close and creating spotlights rather than just simple lighting. If anonymous(blue glasses) is correct, there should have been more available light at 11am. Some serious cropping is needed in some shots – especially in the beach one, where a random rock is peeping into shot of the top-right. Pervert rock. 🙄

My best friend started swim suit modeling at 13 for an agency based in our state called Wilhelmina Urban Agency . I started swim suit modeling when I was 16. It is not uncommon. Agencies love less womanly bodies to model their attire, that is why they hire young girls. These photos prove that. The last Sports illustrated swim suit edition that came out featured lots of girl no older than nineteen. How is that a load of crap? Maybe you should do your research first.

Most models begin their careers at 14 to 16 years old. You just don’t know the model you are looking at is so young. If she is becoming (or wants to be a model) this is completely normal. Ok this may be because I love fashion and know a little more about models then most but there are TONS of girls out there around 14 who are modeling like this. The younger the better in fashion.
Kimora Lee Simmons was in her teens she took off to Milan and lived with Karl Lagerfield. It’s just the family that makes it seems worse then it is. I didn’t think these photos were provocative, it was just the angel, you can see the side of her bottoms when she’s on the steps. She has a top on most of the pics. Not that big of a deal.

Oh, please. These are not all that provactive. And, as many have already stated, 14 is not that unusual for a girl to be modeling. I’d say about 2 of those were good photos – in the others she shows a newness to the industry – she needs to better understand her lines and her body and she’ll take great photos – she definitely has the underlying talent. Just doesn’t always elongate or place herself quite right. But, she just needs time.

Four years seems like a short ammount of time to jump from being “a CHILD” to being a legal adult. When I did it I had at least 6 years of middle-ground in between the two where I was a teenager, a “young adult”, etc. Poor innocent babies today. Think of the “CHILDREN”.
