Personally, I think she probably can’t even feel her lips anymore, she’s had them injected with so much crap.
The L.A. sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore is already talking about when Lindsay might be released – LA jails are overcrowded, and a “projected release date” is now at two weeks – damn! God, I hope it’s longer. Lindsay‘s lawyer, poor Shawn Chapman Holley, gave a public statement which she said Lindsay is “scared as anyone would be … and she’s resolute. She does her time just like anyone else.” Ugh… she does her time like anyone else? There’s the assumption, in that statement, that Lindsay is NOT like everyone else? I guess if she were “anyone else” her ass would have been in jail a long time ago. Menawhile, In Touch also claims that Lindsay has a celebrity “posse” offering support:

In all honesty, I would love nothing more than to take a break from all things Lohan for several months. Even though I enjoy Lindsay’s crack exploits for their sheer humor, I’m not such a cold, heartless bitch that I don’t want to see someone with serious drug problems get better. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen much evidence that Lindsay is taking any of this seriously. Let’s see how she is after three TWO weeks in jail.

Well, God Bless her. I hope she does okay. She won’t, but I hope so anyway. I find her actions appalling, but I can’t help but feel sorry for her. I know! I know! She’s an asshole and she’s got everything going for her! Except someone who really gives a shit about her. What can I say? I’m a sucker for sad, hopeless cases.

Its kind of annoying that people keep saying “I hope they throw her in general population” and “I hope they make her serve the 90 days”. First off, If she is killed in there because the jail neglected to segregate her (they are supposed to segregate certain types of people… nothing new)he death would be on their hands. Also no one ever serves the amount of time they are given… Its usually 2 for 1 (every one day serves is counted as 2…. and you can apply for a 3 for 1 which it seems that she is getting). Don’t get me wrong she deserves to go to jail. Hopefully it will open her eyes that she needs to change… because her next jail sentence may be a lot longer…

Yeah, a break from Lindsay would be nice. It’s her personality and character that will keep her from getting better. Her addictions could be controlled, but being a basic bitch is too ingrained. She has a good chance this time with the jail and rehab time, but it may be wasted time in the end. The courts can only do so much to help her.
About that break from Lindsay … What can we do to get a break from Michael and Dina?
All I hope for at this point is that this girl gets sober, and fast. Its sort of a last chance for me. I keep thinking she’ll have to go through withdrawal in jail, and then she has one last shot to take post-incarceration rehab seriously.

I think Lane saw her BEFORE she was in jail, visited her where ever she was prior to being booked. It says they met on JULY 8th.

Two weeks is ridiculous for a 90 day sentence. It dilutes the whole legal system. What’s the point of being sentenced by a judge when the sheriff can actually decide how long someone serves. In NY, a “normal” person generally serves their time.

What’s the diff between County Jail and State Prison cos I’m under the impression that two weeks in County Jail while no picnic, isn’t exactly hard time like a State facility would be. She bought the jail time with her bad behavior, and I hope she gets the most out of her purchase. She can spend this time reflecting on what she wants to change in her life, or she can blow her sentence playing, “Poor me,” and continuing to insist it’s everyone else’s fault.

These little hoodrat Hollywood brats get a slap on the hand and their sentenced reduced…YET…an average Jane who is considered a “nobody” to the law is sentenced their given time and MAYBE reduced…not by much. I know people who had to be in jail for 6 months for something minor.
What about her sentence of 90 days inpatient rehab after? Does she go straight there after she’s out? Does she have to serve the full time there?
Because if she has to serve it right after, she still has 3 months before she get to “go back to work”

@ Vibius: I doubt she’ll have anything other than minimal contact with the general population. As someone else said, the jail is responsible for ensuring her safety, so they have to keep her segregated. And Amen to the rest of what you said.
She has NO reason to be scared and crying like a pussy during intake! She’s just going to be bored and probably going through some withdrawals from whatever the F she’s been taking. Then, before she knows it, she’ll be back out and on to her 4th (5th?) rehab. Big whoop.
