Our daily Mel Gibson-Oksana Grigorieva round-up has some interesting stories today, all of them from Radar. Sidenote: I don’t even read TMZ’s stories on this situation anymore, but I’ll probably start again when TMZ’s sources are somebody other than an employee of Team Mel. Anyway, is today’s episode of “Glum C-nt: Malibu” Radar reports that Oksana has told authorities about the time she witnesses Mel hitting his youngest son (whose mother is Robyn). Also, Oksana says that Mel “admitted” that he threw a television at Robyn. Apparently, a “friend” of Oksana’s went into even further detail with a Russian newspaper, Komsomolskaya Pravda:
RadarOnline.com learned that Oksana alleged the Lethal Weapon star hit Tommy in the head, while at a hockey game at Staples Centre, two-and-a-half-years ago.
“Oksana told authorities about Mel’s ‘angry outbursts’ toward his own family and friends,” said a source, familiar with the investigation. “She said that Mel, in her presence, hit Tommy, in the head, while they were in a box watching a hockey game. She said Tommy started crying and whimpered for the remainder of the game, choosing to sit by himself, away from his father.”
He was nine-years-old at the time, Oksana said. Tommy is one of Mel’s seven children with Robyn, whom he split from in 2009, in a move that triggered one of Hollywood’s most expensive divorces. In the Russian newspaper, a source close to the Soviet-born musician, detailed the alleged abuse against Robyn.
“Mel was telling several times how he threw a TV into her (Robyn) once when they were arguing,” the newspaper quoted the source as saying. “Thank god he missed and the TV fell out a second story window.”
That claim is consistent with what RadarOnline.com has learned that Oksana told authorities. Some unverified reports claim that Robyn has told a Los Angeles judge overseeing Okana’s child custody dispute, the actor was never violent. The new claims add yet another twist in the bitter battle between the Mel and Oksanar and could result in Mel’s own children being forced to be called as potential witnesses against their father.
As we revealed, Oksana told authorities investigating Mel for domestic violence that another of the actor’s sons witnessed his father’s violence in a December 2009 incident, when he allegedly picked up a chair and slammed it through a glass door. Oksana’s mother, Ludmila, and son, Sascha, 12, were also in Mel’s mansion when the incident took place. One of Mel’s sons rushed into the room after the glass was shattered and tried to calm Mel, Oksana told authorities.
And Oksana’s son Sascha, whose father is James Bond actor Timothy Dalton, witnessed the brutal January 6 brawl, when Mel is alleged to have hit his mother.
Komsomolskaya Pravda’s front-page story, while seemingly corroborating crucial claims Oksana has made to authorities, also provides shocking new details about Oksana’s relationship with Mel. The confidante alleged Oksana found physical evidence that Mel had invited a mistress, suspected to be Polish adult filmmaker Violet Kowal, to their Malibu home, while she was away.
“That girl managed to forget her shoes in their house (and) the housekeeper put them in the closet,” said the friend.
“Oksana was shocked, “Those are not mine!” The housekeeper was at a loss, she didn’t know what to say.”
Other revelations include:
Mel’s family hired a blogger to wage an internet “smear campaign” to ruin Oksana reputation
Mel demanded that Oksana adhere to a strict dress code — she only wear pants, no tight clothing and no plunging necklines — to which she willingly complied.
Toward the end of their relationship, Mel lapsed into frequent fits of anger and jealousy, which he had kept under control during the beginning of their his romance with Oksana.
After the December incident, Mel “dropped to his knees, started crying and promised: ‘I’ll go into therapy!’
Mel spent $100,000 — “not a cent more” — on Oksana and purchased a $30,000 vehicle for her.The friend also painted a picture of a jealous Mel, who became enraged when Leonard DiCaprio kissed her hand twice, while at an event.
“You are my property,” Mel told Oksana, according to the friend.
As RadarOnline.com revealed, sources say DiCaprio has withdrawn from a major film project Mel is slated to direct, about vikings. DiCaprio has not commented publicly.
The source also alleged a pattern of bizarre behavior, in which Mel would “become pale all of a sudden, change his voice, start jumping and screaming, then panting and writhing in hysterics.”
“Oksana kept silent for a long time, she felt sorry for Mel,” the friend is quoted as saying.
“She was begging him to seek professional help for his fits of anger… but she had no choice but to start protecting herself.”

Also, in addition to all of those horrible voicemail messages Mel left for Oksana, after they had their huge blow-up over the placenta and the gardener (it sounds like a fairy tale!), Mel apparently left Oksana a series of nasty text messages. Like: “Your goddamn mailbox is full! Hear you are at Sherman Oaks.” and “Safe is best!” and “I’m drowning in self doubt and depression. And pure rage.” and “I’m just not digging it. Every minute like an agonized eternity. F*ck.” The hell?
Not shocking. Robyn is probably denying physical abuse because she does’nt want to drag her kids into the spotlight.

I can’t believe readers are defending Mel on radaronline, it’s obvious he has been this way for a long time. I think Oksana did Robyn a favor, Robyn was probably afraid of Mel and once she saw Oksana had him that was her ticket out of the marriage.

Six of his other kids are grown adults now, and I find it hard to believe that if they’d all been exposed to abuse – directed towards either themselves or their mother – they’d still all be playing happy families. Celandine, Of course his kids would stick by him, grown-ups or not. They have very compelling reasons to keep Mel’s image spotless. For the longest time, families didn’t tell, you know. It was considered a private matter and I’m sure they still have psychological chains (as well as financial ones) tying them to Mel and Robyn.

I’m tired of listening to people defend Robyn. “She’s my hero.” “She just wants to protect her children.” BLAH BLAH. If there is any validity to the abuse allegations (and anyone who knows anything about abuse knows this doesn’t just suddenly happen, he has been this way for a loooong time) she stayed with an abusive alcoholic for over twenty years. TWENTY years. Don’t give me that shit that suddenly she wants to protect her kids from the spotlight. What about protecting her kids from the darkness of behind closed doors? The torment they went through? That she went through? I understand battered wife syndrome. So I feel for her in that respect. Exactly! Who wants to admit their father is a violent d-bag. Many times the memories of abuse are too painful to talk about so alot of times kids just block it out and don’t admit what happened. From experience I know that it is hard to get out of the notion that maybe it is your fault your parent hits you. Telling someone would be like admitting you are so unworthy that your own parent doesn’t love you.
Obviously it is never the kids fault when a parent hits them, but abuse scars physically and emotionally.

Well I’d believe it if I heard it from ANY other source. Oksana has very little credibility and is on a daily campaign to trash Mel and get in the headlines. Not a day goes by that she isn’t handing over tapes, then photos, then interviews, now this. She is every bit as slimy and gross as Mel. Water does indeed seek its own level. I give Robyn the benefit of the doubt for now. She is the only one of the three that doesn’t make me barf a little in my throat.
As far as Radar v. TMZ, they clearly each have an agenda. One is team Mel and the other is team Oksana all the way. I haven’t read a single balanced article on this topic and I don’t expect to read one any time soon. Unbiased journalism is dead, not that any of this really qualifies as journalism.
Mel had Robyn under his thumb. They married young and before he became a huge celebrity. I always wondered why she looked like his mother instead of his wife in photos, then all this bullcrap hit the fan, now it makes perfect sense why she had no voice/life. He made her look like an arm troll because he’s controlling, abusive, jealous etc etc – she was totally submissive to his demands and rules – allegedly.
As for their kids, when born into an abusive relationship, they do not see it as being abnormal until later in life when they are separated from that upbringing (and that’s providing they do not continue the abusive behaviours). Seeing how Mel is a celeb – how are these kids going to be subjected to outside influences that would show/tell/explain to them that their father is a prick? Especially hard for them when the public admired him for so long.
I don’t think Robyn is ever going to come clean with all the crap she’s had to put up with because for most of her life – she obviously grown accustom to being shit on, and probably needed the kids around for her own selfish reasons. I’ve seen many abused kids blame their mothers for not leaving an abusive father, so only time will tell if his adult children care to share their personal horrors or not.
In my opinion, Robyn is more pathetic than Oskana because she decided to be his door mat, and probably allowed Mel to rage against the children for all those years. Least Oksana has the balls to protect herself, and look good while doing it!

Please. This is old news in Hollywood. Gibson is well-known as a mean drunk and he cheated on his ex-wife with various mistresses and girlfriends over many years. I always thought that Robyn Gibson’s court statement was interesting if only by what it omitted: any mention of verbal, mental or emotional abuse, any abuse of the children, or how she wasn’t “physically abused” because she managed to dodge the flying objects.

I’m sorry I refuse to believe anyhting Oksana says about Robyn. I only listen to half of what she says and half about what Mel’s camp says. This is a dispute between them, stop dragging others into it Oksana.
Robyn and Mel spent a lot of time apart. she lived in Oz a lot of the time they were married. When Mel was at his peak, he wasn’t home very much.
So who knows, maybe their relationship was different. Plus I see Mel as being the kind of guy with a serious Madonna/Whore complex. This is horrible exploitation. There are good reasons why child custody cases are sealed. Parents fighting over a child tend to say anything to win custody, so the truth gets distorted even without a game of “telephone” through various internet sources.
If Oksana saw Mel abuse his youngest son 2 and a half years ago, why did she stick around to have his baby? Why brag to so many interviewers what a great dad Mel was?

This is EASILY proven false. Look at the pictures of Mel and Oksana together at the nightclub when she was pregnant and on the night of the Golden Globes after their fight. Oksana wore tight-fitting, short dresses with decollage.

Oksana is nothing more than a “jilted lover” who’s grasping at “straws” because her own aggressive PR initiatives have failed to garner enough “solid” evidence to support her own allegations. It doesn’t take a “rocket scientist” to figure that much out. Considering that Mel Gibson has allegedly had multiple mistresses over the course of his marriage, why hasn’t any of them come forward to support this gold digger’s allegations? Could it be that they never experienced any physical abuse because there wasn’t any? If so, why does Oksana seem to be his “sole” victim? There’s always TWO SIDES to every story and Oksana has failed to prove that she is actually credible. Someone else who possesses considerably more “class and stature” is going to have to “step up to the plate”. She put her “foot in her mouth and now she has to swallow it”!
@Sincerity, Violet Kowal has recently given an interview (Eonline) claiming Mel threatened her in 2009 after their affair had been traced by the media. As in other rumoured affairs there may be lack of proof though, and after all such cases are no big deals..
And long as Mel had a submissive wife picking up the pieces he probably never went as far as he did in case Oksana. She is not just another “jilted lover”, but the incarnation of his lost dreams about a reborn lovelife, and she is the woman who gave birth to the child of these dreams, now waisted so madly.
Could any sane mother feel safe about sharing a child with a man sounding as insane as Mel? If the meltdown tapes are valid, there can hardly be any good excuse for his behavior, but certainly need of long term psycological and/or medical treatment.

What abuse? I don’t recall Robyn saying Mel abused her and the kids, a signed declaration in a court of law before a judge is enough for me to believe Robyn when she says Mel never abused her. NO I don’t believe anything Oxsana says when it comes to Mel’s ex-wife and children, I believe she‘s lying. I don’t care what she says about Mel he deserves it, but making up stories about his children and ex-wife should be off limits, they don’t deserve to be publicly dragged into this mess because of the bitterness, hate and revenge she feels for Mel, they did nothing to her.

I posted the above comment on April 17th during the discussion of CB’s April 14th post “Mel Gibson & Oksana Grigorieva split, for real.” I’ve also compared her to the Glenn Close “Fatal Attraction” character a couple of times.
And every time she gives one her “impromptu” photo op/press conferences in parking lots outside of supermarkets, office buildings and movie theaters I immediately think: “Oksana will not be ignored!” I’m convinced she is loving all the media attention and her new role as “domestic violence spokesmodel.”
Jane16, whose husband works in the entertainment industry, has made some interesting comments on other posts about how “insiders” knew about “the real Mel” and are happy about this smear campaign. But bear in mind that Oksana was also very much a “Hollywood insider” when she hooked up with Mel, which tells me that SHE KNEW WHAT SHE WAS GETTING HERSELF INTO!” As long as he bankrolled her vanity project music career, took care of her and let her share his glamorous celebrity lifestyle she had no problem overlooking his many faults. She also saw nothing wrong with having his baby, even though he was legally married (and still is) to another woman.
Please Team Oksana, ENOUGH WITH THE ROBYN BASHING! She’s been a devoted wife and mother for thirty years, and has truly honored her “for better, for worse, in sickness and in health” vows. In contrast, your “Saint Oksana” is no paragon of feminine virtue.

GET REAL!!! Violet Kowal is even less credible than Oksana! In fact, when she initially sold her story to the National Enquirer she seemed to be quite comfortable with Mel Gibson and rather enjoyed his company. However, just as soon as Oksana violated a court mandated restraining order and leaked her unauthenticated recordings, then Violet Kowal changed her story to get more media attention. I don’t consider a “somewhat obscure prostitute and porn actress” to be a person of “impeccable” character and stature; however, if YOU DO, you need considerably more therapy than Mel Gibson.
Furthermore, you really need to go back and listen to Oksana’s alleged recordings. Personally, I would have never allowed the world to hear someone I actually had a child with demean me in such a callous, unloving manner. It doesn’t take a “rocket scientist” to figure out that “love” certainly wasn’t part of their relationship. The only thing Mel Gibson relied on Oksana for was his own physical gratification and nothing more. I doubt seriously, If ROMANCE was ever any part of their relationship. SEX IS NOT LOVE! After all, these girls are miscredited all along the way, as plain prostitutes & whores, but who is right to cast stones? Reading the Komsomolskaya version gives quite another picture, hence on most US-sites the atmosphere seems poisened by Mels fanatic, stone-throwing fans.
I will not judge on gossip, only say that my impression is, that Mel has a major problem regarding the meltdown tapes & e-mails. Noone should speak like this to the mother of his newborn child, not even an Icon, such lack of respect can only lead to disaster.

Like in Charlie Sheen case, the women most of the time are scared to prosecute. Just Mel’s ex-wife said he didn’t do it doesn’t mean that’s true – she is heavily financially dependent on Mel having a good reputation b/c of her children. Plus she put up w/ his rages, racist, drunkeness and cheating for almost 3 decades, she’s an enabler w/ low self esteem of epic proportion. No one who rages and says the things Mel has said just out of nowhere became that way. Plus all these people who say Mel never “acted” this way before – he’s an award winning ACTOR – it’s his job to appear charming. These abusers of women need to go away to prison and have their careers ruined or else it sends a message that it’s okay to beat up a woman b/c no one will believe her when she speaks up and your reputation and career will not be affected. It’s disgusting that CBS supports Sheen and Whoopi supports Mel.

I don’t know where YOU’RE FROM but in the United States of America people are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW — NOT THE COURT OF “PUBLIC OPINION”! I despise individuals who have an “inflexible” “witch hunt” mentality because so many innocent people have been financially ruined, wrongly convicted and executed based upon “trumped up” unsubstantiated evidence and rampant public innuendo. Fair is fair! Tell me, if the tables were turned, wouldn’t you want the opportunity to argue your case in a COURT OF LAW in which public/personal biases are minimize? Or would you just prefer to be “unmercifully lynched” instead? I think we both already know the answer to my question, DON’T WE!!!
