Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are about to release their latest production, their twins, into the world. Like every expectant mother they have things to plan – what hospital will my baby be born at? Breastfeed or bottle feed? Which magazine will buy the pictures for the most cash?
The bidding for the Brangelina twins pics has reached a whopping $15 million — and will probably go a lot higher.
Our magazine spies tell us only PEOPLE and OK! are left standing in the bidding war. One spy says the pics are so valuable they would “print blank pages” the rest of year to get them.
Can a weekly mag actually recoup all that cash? Probably not, but it doesn’t matter. The prestige is what counts.
No deal has been inked yet. Brad’s peeps didn’t return our calls. A PEOPLE rep says, “We’d love to see the photos in PEOPLE. We wish the family well” OK!’s rep refused to address a dollar figure, but admits they’d be “foolish” not to make a play for the photos.
We’re told the $$$$ Brad and Angie get will go to charity.
$15 million dollars is going to be wonderful for the charity it will go to, but that is a lot of money for pictures of two little babies. Particularly when babies just look like babies, they aren’t really very interesting. Jennifer Lopez was paid $4-6 million for her twins by People, the same magazine that bought Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s picture for $4.1 million, which is the most expensive picture of a single child to date.
The bidding for the pictures got very heated following the innacurate reports that Angelina had given birth at the weekend. If the price is already around $15 million, by August these pictures could give several charities a financial boost.
I don’t believe those babies are due as late as August, but if they are, I’m feeling really sorry for Angelina Jolie. Sure, pregnancy might make you feel sexy, but she is just enormous for someone around the seven month mark, even taking into account that those are twins.
At the end of March the price of the pictures was put around $10 million, so maybe the price really has reached $15 million.
I see..15 million for photos of babies that will have different faces in 5 months. WHo cares…people have babies every day..what is the huge deal?
Sounds like the magazines are trying to build some hype around the photos (as if the crazyness isn’t big enough as it is). I doubt that ammount is anywhere near the real thing.
Crazy. But I guess we’re all feeding the machine so we’ve only got ourselves to blame. I’d like to not hear another word about her until the babies actually arrive, not because I dislike her, more to do with the recent avalanche-like saturation of Brangelina comments on here, which seem to now be spilling into totally unrelated posts and are beginning to make what is a great gossip site really, really annoying.

It is her people leaking all this info. They want the price to go up. We all know the magazines don’t make the money. Shiloh’s magazines sales were a disappointment.
And that money did not go to charity. It is financing their private jets and multiple homes. They gave only 8 mil to charity between the two of them. Yet they go on and on about it. 🙄

ONLY? 8 mil sure seems like a lot of money to me. They aren’t obligated to give anything to charity; however, they are very well known for their humanitarianism and their contributions to various groups. I’m not particularly crazy about them (a little too much Brangelina overload for me), but give credit where it is due.
Here’s hoping their children are born happy and healthy, and that whatever they choose to donate to charity is appreciated.

If you’re tired of the both of them, blame the public for their unabating hunger for more pictures of this couple. Brad and Angelina obviously would like less media attention. As for the pics, the money is going to their charities so don’t see why people would complain about it. These babies will be deluged by pap flashes anyway later on so why shouldn’t Brad and Angelina make some money off of it while they can.
Only 8 mil? How much did YOU donate Carla? 9, 10 Mil? I’d guess not.
I don’t know why people freak out about them making a profit- they are human and it’s there right to keep the money they make *(after tax)* for themselves- anything they give is above and beyond!

They are worth 120 million they aren’t even giving 10 percent of their income. I haven’t seen heard of them giving anything in the last 6 months. She probably used the Shiloh’s money to pay off that orphanage that Pax came from. The hype around Shiloh was that she would be the most beautiful baby in the world. The other two will most likely look like Shiloh-regular.
Speculation, speculation, that is all this is. They didn’t announce this pregnancy, didn’t say a word, Angelina just wore a form fitting dress to an awards show and let that speak. Who knows what they will do this time, they may just release a photo to all news sources for no fee at all. Talk about much ado over the unknown. Just craziness.
Angelina has said recently she annually gives away one third of her income to charity. She’s probably one of few celebrities who donate that generously and that’s not even counting her time doing humanitarian work.
countrybabe, you are really ignorant as to what they give. Maybe you should do some research before posting lies. The correct info is available for one who is not lazy. Did you know that Brad and Angie alone support three villages, businesses, animal preserve, a children’s clinic, and much more alone through the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation in Cambodia? This is a separate charity of theirs from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. Plus Brad and Angie support a Foundation in Brad’s hometown for needy kids in the public schools. Again the truth is out there for anyone to find.
I think its great that they donate all this money…no matter the amount or the percentage!cuz even not having any money at all, which is pretty much my case, I do my share! And I´d like to do so much more… I wish I had that power to help to change other ppl´s lives, in a big scale! However, I dont they are saints for that…they just do what they can, and they happen to “CAN” a lot! lmao
I think Carla was making the point that the Shiloh photos fetched 6 million and between Brad and Angelina both, they gave 8 million to charity. I think she was making the point that not all of the money from Shiloh’s photos went to charity as they claimed, because if it had, the total would have been higher. I think it is ridiculous for any magazine to pay 15mil for some baby photos. Who cares what the kids look like.God knows we will be barraged with photos of them for the next 18-20 years!
You don’t know what they do with every penny. Yeah, the big contributions are noteworthy and make the news, but you don’t know about the smaller contributions, you don’t know what contributions the foundations make, and frankly, none of it is our business. I am “not even giving 10% of my income” to charity either!
I think anything anyone does to help others is a wonderful thing, and who are we to criticize them for not doing more? If the tabs are insane enough to pay that kind of money, then they’d be insane not to take it, and if they even give part of it to charity, that’s fantastic. They are not required to do so.

Um, not to rile up the haters, but you realize the $8 million figure was just what they gave the Jolie-Pitt Foundation for one year, right? They gave $8 mill in 2006. 2007 charity paperwork hasn’t been released.
And Angie and Brad support other causes independent of the J-P Foundation.
Neither one of them needs, wants or requires your permission to live their life and spend their money as they see fit so GTF over it already. $8 million is paltry if you use it to boost your image. Paul Newman gave 150 million and he has not asked for sainthood like these two. In a way it is like paying for an advert for their Brangelina Brand.
Charity for these two is a way of saving their image. Brad joined when his image faced a massive threat after cheating with his co star. Angelina Joined to clean up after her drug, incest, boose etc acts. She is as phoney and as false as they come. She said she give 1/3 of her income to charity and yapped on and on about it, figures show she gave only four, does that mean that from Changeling, Kungfu Panda,Wanted, Shiloh’s pictures, Pax’s pictures, St John ads etc she only made 12 million? If you are going to use charity for PR and to raise your profile they you had better atleast give more than Britney Spears who gave atleast 10 million last year, more than these two media whores who benefit more by announcing every dollar they donated before their movies are out and pimping out their children like Brochures.
For your information that Cambodian charity closed due to lack of funding 🙄 I guess private jets cost too much these days and you have to save each dollar.

I hope that is an overstatement and that in the end it won’t be as high, even if it does go to charity – and I’d say that regardless of who the celebrity parents/baby(ies) are. I just think that is an obscene amount, especially with the worldwide economy going down the tubes rapidly and so many people hurting (including me and many others on this site too I’m sure). It just seems to fly in the face of the general public to throw that amount around like it’s nothing. These mega, mega, mega bidding wars are going to backfire one of these days because the public is going to get sick and tired of it.
