CODE RED. Lindsay Lohan is on the loose. These are photos of Lindsay out and about today and yesterday in Rancho Mirage, California, where it seems like she can come and go as she pleases from her “Sober House”. As I say again and again, this bitch needs to be on lockdown. It’s inconceivable to me that someone who is in court-ordered rehab gets to wander around California, swinging her arms like she doesn’t have a crack-care in the world. Now – here’s what I understand about Sober Houses – they’re affiliated with rehab, and they’re a way for crackheads (and other addicts/alcoholics) to re-enter the world sober, but in a safe environment, correct? Here’s my question about Sober Houses: do they still do drug testing to ensure that their barely “sober” charges aren’t back to their old shenanigans? Because Lindsay’s face still has the hint of “crackie” to me. And I don’t trust her. Neither should anyone else. Even if she’s clean now, she’s still a f-cking cracked-out hustler. You can tell by that smirk. She’s working some angle.
Also notable: LINDSAY’S LIPS. They’re back to normal, y’all! Sort of. They’re just not as painfully inflated as before. Hurray?

This is complete BS! My son has struggled with drugs for years. ( Happily sober for a few years now.) He went to a court ordered rehab in Santa Barbara ( Salvation Army facility) and he couldn’t even leave for a job for the first six months. SIX MONTHS. And we were happy he got caught. Happy he got locked down. Happy he spent hours in therapy everyday. It ( and his determination) saved his life.
This really pisses me off!
And once again what the Judge ordered means nothing. Plus she doesn’t even have to wear her SCRAM jewelry.
For Lindsay’s sake, she’s needs to go to a REAL lockdown facility.
None of this “let’s baby the crackhead/whore along” crap.
When I was younger, I had to go to one of those. Everytime I got a day pass, I was strip searched each time I came back onto premises, and each time I got a visitor, they were searched.
Your family and friends couldn’t send books and gifts unless it was approved by the facility, and those were searched when they got to the facility.
You were woken up at 7 am sharp, and if you weren’t out of your room at 8 to start the day, you lost your privileges and couldn’t go to the cafeteria and watch tv or something like that.
We were kept busy all day, with school, chores, group, and other activities. In order to get privileges, you HAD TO EARN THEM. And you could easily lose them by being defiant, doing stupid shit, or just not doing your share of the work. Bedtime was 10 sharp.
Of course, not all was doom and gloom. We got to play games, watch movies, and other stuff.
But seriously, Lindsay needs something like that. She needs to know if she wants something, she has to work for it. She needs order and structure and routine in her life. She needs responsibility and rules.
It’s the only way to cure her of her entitlement and delusional sense of self.
Just further proves the point that no one (NO ONE) gives a shit about her getting better.
Holy crap, did she cut out the extensions?! There may be hope for her yet…
To answer one of your questions, yes, sober houses administer regular drug testing.
They’re still ugly duck lips. Her natural ones are ugly-thin, so she’ll probably always tamper with them.

I hope that Betty Ford is drug testing this crackie every single day! If not, she will feel free to get her coke/meth all the time. Blohan will never learn.
I say let her out of rehab, taken off probation, and let her get as high and drunk as she wants every day. Lets end this sooner rather than later.

Yeah, she’ll have a curfew and daily drug testing. Lock down might be fun for us to envision doing to LL, but isn’t going to do her problems any good. This method just *might* work.
Her bosoms don’t appear to have grown much while locked up, much to my disappointment, because she looked fit after her stint in prison. She still looks sick.

Yes this is court ordered but Lindsay went there voluntarily then the Judge ordered her to finish the program.

Agreed this is seriously her best chance to stay clean and sober.
Jail had no effect and lockdown rehab was a complete disaster that they let her out because they knew the only way she would make progress is if she became an outpatient.
Now she has already done 30 days inpatient at the lockdown clinic and is doing the sober living house to help her transition for when she leaves rehab.
She must be doing well as she has been given permission to do a photoshoot next week.

You’ll only get clean if you want to be clean. Whether it’s a glam Hollywood rehab, or a state facility. Whether you’re a celebrity or Joe Shmoe.
I’ve been clean for several years, and I went to the cushy rehabs and the lockdown rehabs and not a one of them worked until I decided that I was sick of destroying myself and my family. LL has to reach the same decision. And you know? Maybe she never will. But let’s stop blaming the courts and her parents, and the rehab facilities. LL will quit being an addict when she decides she’s done with it, and not a day sooner.

@ Skye: You are totally right. It’s not on the facility, it’s on her.
I was in a halfway house once, many moons ago, and they did not drug test us unless we were late to curfew or to a house meeting or something like that. There was no random drug testing, only if there was cause. However, like I said, that was a long time ago, and every facility is different, so they may do more testing now. It does seem to be a very drug-testy world these days.
I’m no Lindsay defender, but something must be working for her because she is looking so much better.

I don’t get it. My sister is in a private rehab facility for meth, and she’s there for 9 months. While there, “Sis” has to go to daily meetings, work at the rehab facility, act like a decent human being, etc…
“Sis” wasn’t allowed phone calls, visits, or out AT ALL for the first 90 days! “Sis” was court-ordered to rehab, and we live in SoCal too, so what, exactly, is going here?!?

Remember Lindsay went there voluntarily and it only became court ordered at the Oct 22nd hearing. So Lindsay would have got visits from her family, legal team etc just because her hearing was approaching.
Betty Ford is a 90 day program which the Judge is forcing her to complete and until February 25th she is facing 180 days if she violates probation again
Was your sister’s option rehab or PRISON ?

No, my sister went to rehab of her own accord. She wasn’t given the option of rehab or PRISON. She resisted rehab for quite some time. Some people take rehab seriously, and some don’t. LL doesn’t. (I notice you glossed right over the “daily meetings” and “working at the facility” part of my comment. And by “working” I don’t mean tele-conferences with her agent.)
9 months isn’t excessive when you truly want to straighten out your life and kick your addiction. And I can’t even say for certain my sister WANTS to kick her addiction – I just don’t think she had any other options. She’s lost everything: my 3 nephews; her home; everything. I guess LL just doesn’t have enough to lose.
p.s. My parents are paying through the nose (no pun intended) for “Sis” to go to private rehab, but they love their grandchildren and want my sister to succeed.

Lindsay does do the daily meetings she just has a busy schedule with freetime for sober activities which is supposed to help her stay sober when she leaves rehab.

I guess 9 months isn’t that excessive when your situation is that grave but rehab is supposed to be about progress not time served.
