Yeah, this looks so much like a daughter that is terrified of her neglectful, abusive, racist father, right? I love the way Gabriel holds her too – really high, so that they’re face to face. In some of the photos, it looks like Nahla is telling her daddy a story, and he’s smiling at whatever she’s telling him. I know these photos are staged – I know it in my brain. But my heart tells me that this is a little girl who adores her father, and that her daddy adores her right back.
Anyway, these are photos of Gabriel and Nahla out and about in LA on Thursday, just 24 hours after a judge told Halle Berry that she could take her daughter out of state, AND that Gabriel had every right to have visitation with Nahla. To celebrate, Gabe took Nahla to the zoo – TMZ has photos of the two of them, and in some of those photos, Nahla is holding her daddy’s face. It’s really lovely.
Damn, Gabriel. I hope you’re up for the crazy-ass, full-blown war ahead. Because this junk is not over! God, I hope he made enough tapes!

Oh quit with the “racist” stuff. If that had had any legs to it, we would have heard tons more about it. This little girl looks about as far from “terrified” of her daddy as can be. I doubt if Halle Berry will ever regain any credibility.
Aww! Nahla truly looks happy and so does he. You can tell she loves her daddy and she’s the queen of his world. I truly believe in my heart that Gabe is a nice dude. I hope all parties involved will be able to get along one day for Nahla’s sake.

Kaiser you’re right on. Photo op or not you can still tell a lot by the body language. I like that he’s holding her at eye level too. I think it’s sad that Halle Berry can’t be civil in the press about him. But then again what can you expect from someone that would leave a scene of a hit and run and feel entitled enough to blame it on something ridiculous like amnesia?!

Whether this ia a staged ops or not, Nahla is a kid and if she had any fears of her dad(being all aggressive,neglective or abusive as claimed by you know who) then would see her reaction.
Body language says a lot (especially in kids) and the chemistry in these pics are absolutely adorable (it’s pure love). I am glad he is able to spend quality time with Nahla and that is how it should be.

There seems to be some drum beat of lies going on that Aubry is like K Fed. Gee where in the world could that have started? This man is a very successful model and has made a lot of money. He continues to work.
It’s almost as if Halle has some meme to her fans to poison the air. I have never heard bad things about Aubry – never – until Halle started her smear campaign against him. This is not a woman to be trusted raising a child. She has always struck me as unstable and prone to hysterics. Some of her more serious episodes may be in her past but her recent behavior during this custody fight indicates she hasn’t changed much.

These pics are so adorb. And I saw another pic at another site–I think TMZ where nahla has her hand on Gabriel’s cheek and she looks like she’s whispering something to him. It was very cute and obviously she is not scared of him.
I have thought from the beggining that the stories from Halle’s camp about Nahla being scared of Gabriel were BS. I’ve had friends that have gotten divorced and had a friend who talked smack about her ex around the kids all the time which made the kids not want to go with their dad on his weekends. I’m not saying that’s what happened but it’s certainly a possibility.

By the way, Gabriel has been working, maybe not as much but has been doing commercials in the last two year some cat walks and was the face of Louis Vuitton in 2009 and has been in the Charisma commercials in 2010, most like some more but that is all I know. Maybe they agreed at the start to spend as much time with their daughter as possible while she was a baby.My husband and I did that when we adopted my last baby, sold up when she was 1 and went to live in Tenerife and came back when she was school age. The best thing we ever did.

I think Nahla will be very white as an adult. I think she is only 25% black since Halle is half white half black and Gabriel is all white. Being only 25% black, I lost all my color by age 6 and Im half German half brazilian(dad is half white half black racially). I only have a wide African nose and curly hair, everything else is white. I prefer being white because its better in America(black people have too many issues, even after they succeed like Halle and M. Vick).
Oh my, I am in love with these pictures and can’t get enough of them. Nahla looks happy for sure and Halle must be really mad seeing these. For the sake of this child please these two behave like adults and decent parents.
One thing I have noticed, she has a lolly in her hand, I have not seen a photo with her and Halle ever with any sweets etc, or have I missed it.

People you can’t quantify “race,” that’s the point. I think that despite how other people will judge her there is not reason why Nahla can’t call herself white or black, or whatever. Race is an illusion. I’m “Hispanic” (as the US would label) and in my parent’s country people are mixed – but no one calls themselves “biracial,” they may refer to skin tone and yes at times call someone Black or White but totally and completely in the end they are all just “Dominican.”
So while “race” is an issue all over the world, in my opinion it’s something of another level here.
The CIA fact book calls the Dominican Republic 77% (make that 80%) “mulatto”
they could call themselves “biracials or multiracial” if they were anything like Americans but they don’t…they associate with their nationality instead! Which is how it should be done!
It gets more confusing if I were to get into our country’s slave history and class issues but in the end if you are a citizen and have history there you are just Dominican first.
This says a lot about the eurocentrism in the US and how being white and having “some white in you” (how is that even possible?) seems to be an extension of prejudice and race is soo important and it all adds to confusion.
Paula Patton doesn’t call herself biracial…neither do Dominican, Cuban and Puerto Rican actresses (btw those are the nationalities of their parents and countries where people are historically Black and White, and maybe some indigenious roots too.) like Zoe Saldana, Dania Ramirez, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Lopez.
If these biracial ideas applied in the countries of their parents’ origin technically they would go by that term but they don’t. So it isn’t necessary to cling to terms like “biracial” to label someone. For me that’s too linked to the US’ hypodescent and anti-miscegenation history.
