I wasn’t aware that Holly Madison had been “slammed” for her weight, but apparently that happened. So Holly decided to fight back and do a photo shoot with Life & Style, and she’s showing off her body without any Photoshop or retouching. CB and I think she looks good – but both of us always thought Holly was the prettiest of Hef’s former girlfriends. She does have a pretty face, and it would be nice to see it without the drag queen makeup. But doing a photo shoot without retouching is a good first step.
After being slammed for gaining weight, Holly’s World star Holly Madison bravely shows of her curvy body – flaws and all – for an exclusive unretouched photo shoot with Life & Style.
“I’d rather be overweight and curvy than super thin with no curves,” Holly, 32, exclusively tells Life & Style at the photo shoot on Feb 21. “I’m proud of my body.”
For good reason: Holly has a figure most women would envy. And yet, Holly isn’t afraid to admit that her small stature doesn’t exempt her from what haunts millions: cellulite. “I have cellulite — and had it even when I was at my absolute thinnest,” she tells Life & Style. “I’m never not going to have cellulite. People need to just accept that it’s there and maybe dress accordingly or use body makeup to cope with it.”
Still, when Peepshow’s choreographer and director instructed Holly to shed weight — after she’d gained 15 pounds following her move to Sin City — she was hurt, she confesses. “Once I realized that other people were noticing that I’d packed on a few, I was embarrassed to go onstage,” she reveals. Making matters worse: her Holly’s World nemesis, model Jayde Nicole. “Holly needs to lose 10 pounds of fat,” Jayde, who once cattily sent Holly a basket full of candy when she knew her co-star was dieting, recently told Life & Style.
“After moving to Vegas, I lived in a suite in Planet Hollywood for a year and ordered room service all the time,” Holly says. “I like food too much to go on some crazy diet. French fries are my favorite downfall.” Holly also says she’s not willing to give up sweets but she has decided to make some healthy changes: Pilates classes and 20-minute runs, and mixing prepared meals from the Fresh Diet delivery service into her menu.
“I’ve always had a butt, and I want to keep it — cellulite and all. I’m not perfect, but I love my curves.” Holly tells Life & Style.
[From Life & Style]
French fries are my downfall as well – if someone forced me to diet without candy or pastries or cakes, I would be fine. If someone forced me to diet without French fries or potato products, I would shoot myself in the face. As for Holly – I mean, what size do you really think she is? Like, a 6 or an 8? She’s not fat by any stretch of the imagination. She’s just not super-skinny.
Oh, and please, please, please, I would love it if no one said anything about “real women having curves” or, on the other side, how SOME people are just naturally skinny and how all of this is just so offensive to thin women. If you people start putting up your measurements, I will nut up.

I think she’s pretty, but wasn’t she kind of snotty about her weight when she was skinnier? Or was that another playmate?
God, she needs to get rid of that blonde. It looks horrible. It reminds me of Goopy’s hair, as Holly’s roots are way too light as well.
she is a prostitute
My sister is 18, 5’2″ and 100 pounds and SHE has cellulite. I’m 24 5’7″, 170, and have ZERO cellulite…and I have a kid! It just happens. It can’t be helped. I think she looks fantastic un-retuouched. The cellulite is minimal and I think her butt looks better than Kim K’s, personally.
36-25-42
I have stretch marks all over my hips, thighs and butt. I spent my whole pre-pubescent and teenage years trying to get to a healthy weight from being massively underweight. Now, at 24, I’m 5’6″ at 146 and couldn’t be happier. Anyone who says otherwise can kiss my big, beautiful butt!
Holly does a very pretty face, but I wish she would shed the unnatural blonde hair. It looks like a wig and I am always distracted by it!
I never noticed she had gained weight and it seems silly to me that she is being criticized for it. I’m a woman damn it and we can be so critical of other women, but I still didn’t notice.
Oh yes and french fries are my downfall, too! I don’t care for cake, eclairs, croissants, but hell, I love SALT! Nom nom nom
oh please, what a great body.
its like when katy perry says, she loves her “curves”.
sigh, i guess there is a difference between curves and hollywood curves.
She looks great. I bet she’s a size 6 max. Which is small.
Celebrities have the most warped sense of reality when it comes to women’s shapes/sizes.
I’ve always liked Holly. I know her body is made of 85% non-biodegradable materials. But, I still think she’s beautiful.
When I saw the word “unretouched” my first thought was: oh, so we’re not counting the myriads of plastic surgeries she (and Kim K) have had?
That being sad, I do agree that she has a nice arse. A bit of cellulite never killed anyone. My issue is with her fake breasts and fake everything else. I really think it’s twisted such a woman would now stand up for a positive body image, when clearly she’s never had that so far. Same goes for Kim K by the way.
“Un-retouched body”? Seriously?
I see that she’s erased the Playboy bunny tattoo.
EDIT: Hmmm, I see now…”un-retouched” in the picture.
“If you people start putting up your measurements, I will nut up.” LOL Kaiser.
I think she looks great! I was about a 6/7 right after I had my first son and my ass looked similar. That being said, I wasn’t comfortable at that particular weight and went on to lose significantly more. I have a feeling Holly will be on another cover in 6 months talking about her new bikini body (a la Kardashian) and how she lost 15 lbs and regained her confidence. AND if that happens I will “nut up.”
I kind of just fell in love with Holly. I have always liked her personality, but now it might be love.
I work out at a pretty ritzy all women gym in Boston and let me tell you that it is the most amazing place, hundreds of women with hundreds of body types. SERIOUSLY! Looking at all of these women who value their physical health enough to work out weekly, and yet most of them do not have bodies remotely resembling what we see in magazines or on tv/movies. It is totally beautiful and natural for us women to come in all shapes and sizes. Holly is right, accept it, do what you need to in order to feel healthy.
That my friends, is f**king beautiful!
Go Holly for doing this.
Em, not impressive— when you look at the original hollywood beauties. They had real curves and extra padding/layers all over- and looked much better than Holly with it. Holly is actually still too skinny in comparison.
I love Holly!
Who is this Jayde chick? I don’t watch Holly’s World, so maybe that’s why I don’t know. I’m not quite getting the whole nemesis bit, though.
@Eve – good call on the tat. Looks like she’s a couple of laser treatments away from it being complete.
Her hair is way too light and ages her, imo.
Interesting that she had her Playboy Bunny tat removed from her lower back. It looks like it left a scar or it’s a bad re-touch.
what great (surgeon-inspired) curves. XD None of her looks are real. The hair, the boobs the face.. THIS is supposed to be normal and somehow outside the beauty “rules”? Not in a million years. *sigh* and its just so.. silly pretending that this is somehow a breakthrough in body confidence. Its like its saying-yeah when you have had as much surgery as we have, eliminate your natural features and are a very small dress size- then you have the right to be confident. BLECH
It was a couple of months ago I had read a few snotty articles about how Holly had gotten “fat”.
Seriously.
All I could think is where is this allege “fat” at?
She looks great. Yet I realize in Vegas it is required for women to look like a 12 year old boy with bolt on boobs.
And of all people that heinous looking Jayde Nicole, with her jacked up face… plus a bad wonk eye, needs not to be casting any stones.
She looks good. *looks for tape measure* lol!
She looks great, and being a French Fry Queen is fantastic, especially on Sundays. Jayde is an a-hole.
38 – 31 – 41
size 12, 5’4.5
i bet she’s a 4/6. pictures are very misleading.
@Isabel, Jayde Nicole is the chick that got punched in the face by Joe Francis a while back. She’s some sort of reality show hanger-on, maybe?
she looks fine. jeebus.
Everyday my 5 and 3 year old daughters and myself have a group hug while looking in the mirror.
I always say, “Look how beautiful we are.”
Embrace what you got, ladies.
We are all lovely.
Good for her. I like her heavier. She is less snotty. I have always yo-yoed in my weight and can appreciate when other people struggle with it as well. We are all human.
Jayde Nicole is also a playboy bunny that the douchehead something Jenner from The Hills was dating for a bit and she always got into it with Kristen. She is a total waste of space and hair spray.
Kaiser, I’m the same — take the sugar, but leave the salty, crunchy delicious potato products.
And who wouldn’t love to have her body? She looks great.
I knew a girl who was so pleased with her thin self and told us all how she only wore thongs (this was back in the day when they first started becoming popular), etc. I wanted to tell her that granny panties would be more flattering because with the thongs you could see her cellulite thru her pants.
I don’t know….I’m a 6 and I am bigger than her! She can’t be more than a 4. But whatever. She’s cute and harmless. I can’t hate on her for that.
She looks lovely and healthy! I’m going to guess her at about a size 6. I’m 31, 36-27-37, 5’1″, 120 lbs. and I’m usually a 4. And I totally have cellulite.
Holly is 100% product of plastic surgery.. she did not look like that until her sugar daddy paid for all her face surgery!
And curvy?! Please.. in Hollywood if you are a size 2 you are curvy.. this girl is not bigger than a 4 – ugh! I cant believe this product of surgery is going out there claiming that she is a natural curvy beauty.
My weakness is coca cola and cheesecake, but considering I had a 10lb freaking baby boy 6 years ago I’m doing ok in the cellulite/weight department (not free from but ok).
It’s nice to see photos that are ‘un-touched’
Thank you HOLLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MeMyself: Now that’s how you instill confidence.BRAVO!!!
That white-blond hair has got to go!
i’m 6’1 and weigh about 190 (give or take 5lbs). i’m a size 14 but even when i was a 10 and working out twice a day for crew practice i had cellulite. it just happens.
I think she looks great. Her face is much fuller and softer makes her look younger.
“Oh, and please, please, please, I would love it if no one said anything about “real women having curves” or, on the other side, how SOME people are just naturally skinny and how all of this is just so offensive to thin women. If you people start putting up your measurements, I will nut up.”
Glad to read this. As a skinny woman myself, I’ve felt offended in past by some of the comments I had to read here.
She should be proud of her body. She’s gorgeous!
@MeMyself
I love that…I need to try it myself!
@Gabriela – Agreed. I’m not naturally “eat whatever I want” skinny, but I have a very petite frame and it annoys me that many think that you can’t say you have curves if you wear a small size, or that if you don’t have curves you aren’t a “real” woman.
OMG I FUCKING LOVE that she didnt photoshop! I swear, seeing a picture of a former PLAYBOY MODEL with cellulite in her thighs and meat on her back just left me speechless. those are my biggest insecurities and for once, i can ACTUALLY relate to the image of a ‘model’ in a magazine!
*sighs with relief*
thank u holly! 🙂
I think, as women, we underestimate our power. We conform to whatever we’re told to do. There are women who are very high profile that could collectively stand together and make a stance on the being too thin issue. Similar to the modeling agencies convincing us that clothes only look good on a 13 y.o. skeleton???? Whatever. It just makes them feel better thta they can control someone and mold them into whta they want. Our buying power influences a lot. When tampax altered their tampons (I can’t remember what they did exactly) women revolted and quit buying and their numbers dropped. They subsequently went back to the original product.
Sorry for the rant, I just fell like women have a lot of power that we are afraid to use. Holly looks great to me. Being healthy is what is important.
Holly is awesome and her body is gorgeous. She actually looks like a woman instead of a skeleton. Good for her.
BTW, in my medical terminology class we ended up discussing various terms the beauty industry has created to sound like a medical condition that doesn’t exist. Two of them: halitosis and cellulite! Halitosis was created by toothpaste and mouthwash companies before it was adapted into the vernacular, and cellulite? Created to make us feel bad about having healthy, normal body fat!
I’m 5’11”, just under 200lbs and I’m still struggling to take off the baby weight. But guess what? I’ll stick with the cellulite and stretch marks because it’s a part of me! I’m working to be at a healthier weight again and I refuse to conform to Hollywood’s version of ‘beautiful’. Beautiful is being healthy and confident in how you perceive yourself. I won’t lie, I know it helps our egos when we have the hot guy across the street winking at us! We all come in different shapes and sizes for a reason. If we were all the same, we would be utterly dull and boring.
Actually, one of my really thin friends has curves, not volputous, but curves none-the-less, at least for her frame. She 5’10” and only about 110 lbs, but she definitely has a waist and has hips, not a very big chest, but she’s got enough to give her a shape. I always tell her to be proud of her shape, because not that many girls her weight have curves like she does.
32-27-35. I’m 5’4 and wear a size 4, usually around 115 lbs….no cellulite but I do have plenty of stretch marks! I think Holly looks great!
her ability to show her real body doesn’t exactly make the pose in her photograph any less trashy. c’mon it’s like old-school whoryesque stance
Hell cellulite or as my mother calls it ‘hail damage’ is simply the ‘luck of the draw’, my mom and her sister have always had it and they are both very fit and trim. I didn’t inherit the hail damage from them, I am built more like my fathers side no cellulite, however chances are likely that I will have a very flat butt, droopy boobs and some serious bingo wings on my arms… so frankly I would prefer the hail damage.
I don’t have stretch marks and I’m wondering if people mean from pregnancy? I’ve never been pregnant. I’m a little chubby. By little I mean 5 foot 5. 🙂 Painfully big norgs and a big botbot.
She looks just fine. Not too thin, not too chubby. Perfect size for her height.
LMAO @ # 50. I’ve never heard the expression norgs or botbot. I’m stealing it.
Edit: Bingo wings is also stolen. Hilarious vocab today…
40-33-42
5’9″ & 170lbs Would like to still say I’m carrying some baby weight, but she’s 3.5 now & it’s all mine! LOL No real cellulite, but I do have a little teacher wave trying to creep in. *sigh* Totally not proportioned, 42″ of my height is legs. My short upper body is my vice. Only comfortable with my weight because I look 20-25lbs lighter. (Thank you dad for the fab height & weight camouflaging genes!!)
Love the fact that she allowed herself to be real. More women should! Kudos to her!!
Well this just shows how horrifically Photoshopped every picture is that appears in a magazine. It’s shocking.
If that really is no photoshop, then she has barely any cellulite if this is how she really looks under bright lighting. She has a great figure and weight and the only change she should make is perhaps add a bit more muscle. She’s also lucky to carry her weight so evenly; pears (like me) can have hips and lower back like that yet still a scrawny looking chest and arms or else arms like that and HUGE hips – I’m hella jealous of hourglasses LOL.
Wow this is so cool of her to pose for the cover without Photoshop! This is great! I wish more celebs would do this but I guess they are JUST TOO INSECURE! And to think that young girls everywhere look up to them! HA!
@ Cat (#53) – I can so agree with the out-of-proportion thing (and thanks to Dad for that too!). I gain almost everything in my mid-section and I have about 5 inches between the tops of my hips and the bottom of my ribs. Legs like yours too – uber long! Isn’t it fun shopping for pants? 😛
in my medical terminology class we ended up discussing various terms the beauty industry has created to sound like a medical condition that doesn’t exist. Two of them: halitosis and cellulite! Halitosis was created by toothpaste and mouthwash companies before it was adapted into the vernacular, and cellulite? Created to make us feel bad about having healthy, normal body fat!

Interesting! And now these companies make millions of dollars off of women’s insecurities!!
@ MeMyself – that is the nicest thing I have heard anyone do/say in a while…bless your heart chickadee your daughters are lucky to have such a kick-a** Mum – go you! (And Holly for this…and I couldn’t agree more…fat? cellulite??? where…point it out…cause I can’t see it…)
I can’t stand how much is wrong with the grammar and punctuation on the cover.
It’s like it came from a 12yr old’s twitter feed.
MeMyself what a wonderful idea!
I am going to start doing that with my daughter! XOXOOXOXOXOOX
im so glad she she did.
this is what lots of healthy-weight real women look like – nothing like the models of Victoria Secret – but real women, and we should all be just be proud of being so curvy, huggable, touchable, LOVELY.
@Aries_Mira Ok, so I am totally jealous!! I only have 2 inches top between my hips & ribs. *sigh* I can only dream how much smaller my waist would actually be if I had a few more inches to spread things out! & I totally agree!! Buying pants totally blows! My only hope is that both my girls stay tiny! 🙂
The blonde hair does nothing for her face.
I am 5’8″ at 140 and I have cellulite under butt and back of my thighs since puberty. Even in my best shape it is there but my mom-in-law who is 72 has zero cellulite on her legs and they aren’t saggy either. it’s genetics and I am waaayyyyy over it.
Kaiser, I’m with you. French fries rule!! So do mashed potatoes, au gratin potatoes, baked potatoes, potatoes fois gras, potato surprise, potatoes Alaska . . . you get the drift.
Thanks for the awesome comments on my little activity.
My wish is for everyone to do this.
And believe it.
Oh potatoes… nom nom nom
I’m 7 months pregnant so my measurements are crazy cakes right now! But before my husband knocked my up I could definitely have stood to loose about 15 pounds, but I didn’t look terrible at all. My husband love big hips & a big butt & no matter how teeny I could get I’d still have ’em both! I’ve always had some cellulite but I’ve noticed more as the baby & I have gotten larger. I know that it doesn’t mean jack squat, but I really hope some of it goes away!
I get where everyone is going for here but I hate hearing the measurement shout outs.
Eat everything in moderation, work out to be healthy, love who you are and compare yourself to no one else. I wish this is how society would teach their daughters to live.
@bodhi, congrats! I’m currently pregnant with baby boy number 2 and I just wanted to let you know that my butt and upper thighs are dimply just like the first time around. However, after the birth of my first son (and a the loss of a couple of lbs) the cellulite was no longer visible. After losing some of that fluid you’re retaining and shrinking some fat cells you should return to your original form.
I like Holly. She is a pretty lady. Just wish she would darken her hair to accent her brown eyes.
Bodhi,
Congrats on the baby Bohdi!
As you are preggers and eating for two, and seem to like potatos I would like to give you a horridly calorie filled recipe, that reheats wonderfully and doesn’t require gravy. For all the health food fanatics it is best to turn your head away now…
Sinful Mashed Potatoes
6-8 Yukon gold potatos
1 and 1/2 sticks butter (cut up)
1 8 oz sour cream
1 pint half and half
1/2 cup parm cheese (save a bit for top)
1 tsp of garlic powder
salt and white pepper to taste
-peel and cook potatos, drain, while still steaming hot add everything and use a mixer to whip into a creamy texture, put into a corning ware dish sprinkle more parm cheese on top and put into a pre-heated @325 oven until top is slightly brown about 10 min.
-Eat.
@Morticians – Thanks & congrats to you as well! And good to hear!! This is my 1st Bean & while I certainly understood the basic mechanics & that I’d get bigger, I wasn’t really prepared for everything that goes along with it! I’m not entirely sure where exactly I’m supposed to put the rest of this kid, lol!
@TaylorB – DAMN! That sounds AMAZING! I pinky swear I won’t tell my midwife… 😀
Have she removed her playboy bunny tattoo?
Her pretty face got some help from a plastic surgeon, definitely rhinoplasty and possibly other procedures. Goodplasticsurgerydotcome has before/after photos that show a dramatic difference. Her face looks natural because she’s let the work settle and doesn’t keep doing things to it like Kim Kardashian.
Most women while most men don’t because of differences in connective tissue under the skin. I have a BMI of 21 with some cellulite that I don’t worry about because at 43 years old, I don’t parade around in Daisy Dukes.
Er.. Jayde Nicole? You need to gain 10 pounds of brain, so shut your munted face.
33-26-35. 5’8″.
I run like crazy but will never get rid of the cellulite or stretch marks. I like them because I earned them. Well, the cellulite has always been there. The stretch marks…. I will never be able to wear a bikini again. 🙁
She looks awesome.
I have had cellulite since I was about 10 years old. I showed my stepmom and she laughed. I became super body conscience at about that point and it has taken me til almost 30 to finally come to terms with my body. No matter how small I got, even when I was dreadfully skinny at 108 (I lost about 30-40 pounds in college, have since gained about 10 back), I STILL HAD CELLULITE. While I was bummed at the time, I have since realized that it’s strictly genetic. The texture of my skin is EXACTLY like my mother’s and my grandmother’s. It. Can’t. Be. Changed.
And now, when pondering the trip to Mexico that my husband and I will be taking in June, I have found myself thinking, “God, do something already!”. But I sober up quickly, remind myself there’s nothing to be done, and that my husband loves nothing more than to look at me with my clothes off 🙂
I have always loved Holly (in the way one loves reality stars) and this photo made me feel so…good. At peace. Ready to put on a bikini in Mexico. Good job, Holly. Thanks.
MeMyself: beautiful and inspiring tradition!
Sigh. And still all the measurements go up. Did anyone actually read this article all the way to the end?
I wish they would have done a photo from the front, I wonder if her belly is flat or normal. I know she’s never had kids, but I have and I’m not sure if mine is normal or post-two-kids normal.
@Taylor…holy CRAP! I started sweating butter just reading that recipe! (I can’t wait to try it!)
Yeah, the measurements/height/weight shout outs seem like a thinly veiled way of saying, “We should all embrace ourselves for who we are .. But just so we’re clear, I’m not fat.”
The competitive nonsense remains, even when we’re trying to champion each other. Sad.
I am 5’8″, 120# and have this much cellulite or more.
Good for her for posing like this. She looks awesome. Needs to change her haircolor but other than that she’s so cute!
Cellulite has nothing to do with height, that’s the (bad) blood circulation that causes it. It happens to the short and the tall, to the thin and the fat. It just happens.
I think we should only worry about cellulite when it’s really rough. Most people have a little something, it’s totally natural.
gobo, LOL, no kidding huh?
Kudos to her for not running straight to the weight loss clinic because Hollyweird told her she was fat. She is thinner than most of America! She looks like a real woman and not a stick with a lollipop head like alot of other anorexic celebs females look like.
She IS curvy. She has large breasts (yes, they are bought but oh well) and a smaller waist and a nice bottom. She has curves.
And yes, we should all recognize that women come in all shapes and forms and that we’re all beautiful.
I’m a slender woman with a straight figure. The only curve I have is a small baby bump.
I am a real woman. 🙂
Also, what does, “I will nut up” mean? I have never heard that before. I feel like it could mean a few different things so I thought it best to ask.
24 yrs old, 4’10, 32-22-38
And Kaiser, I never thought articles on fuller-bodied women were offensive. Only when all those comments start showing up how bony chicks aren’t “real”.
Ps Holly is super hot, and if she’s happy and healthy, who cares??
What curves?! She looks like a pretzel dipped in cottage cheese. Flatback mufftop edition.
I think she looks great. Women are too hard on themselves.
I am 35 5’10 and 140. I do not have one ounce of cellulite – it is 100% genetic. My mother doesnt either.
I could care less about having “perfect parts.” Doesnt mean you are happy.
There’s nothing natural about Holly Madison aside from her cellulite. She’s retouched in person.
Fake boobs, fake hair, lots of facial work, tons of makeup, and was proud that she didn’t work because her “BOYfriend” (80 year old pornographer Hugh Hefner) was rich so she didn’t have to. Yikes, I don’t know why anyone would say that out loud.
She’s likeable but she really was one of three to six paid, plastic girl toys in a whore house with mandatory orgies with her role being she was allowed to do the special backdoor sessions with the old man. Buying humans and being a bought human is sad. Showing her butt in all it’s glory yet again for money is really old ground for this one.
@Isa
I think it’s like man-up. As in grow a nutsack and be a big brave man. 😀 hehe “I will be brave (nut-up) and do -blank-“.
Imo, people put way to much emphasis on how much you weigh rather than what kind of person you are. As we age, we gain weight, it’s just a fact of life.
I’ve watched Holly in the girls next door and her own show. She seems like a nice person. I hope she can find somebody who cares about her and treats her well. I think a lot of girls who get into her line of work have suffered from sexual abuse at some point in their lives. then once you get into that line of business, it’s hard to get a normal job. And so what if she’s plastic? Live and let live.
“Nut up” means “go nuts,” as in go crazy.
Holly admits she had a nose job so I can’t hate her for it. In fact, her old nose was a little distracting for someone in show biz. So I get it.
I don’t understand the big deal about cellulite. So what? I don’t think it looks bad.
Go Holly!!
Holly has always been beautiful and classy. She has a killer body, what’s wrong with people? Hef is such a dummy, he should have stayed with her! You go, girl!
She still looks thin to me?! Probably a size 4, maybe 6 max.
I’m 5’3″ & 105lbs. 33x24x34…. skinny as hell but I have cellulite right about the same area as Holly (side of my butt cheeks)! I have always had it as early as I can remember. Pretty normal in most people.. from what I see in the gym and from the high school locker rooms.
