A few days ago, a useless cokehead dumbass walked out of a Good Morning America interview in a huff. Paris Hilton got her thong in disarrays after ABC correspondent Dan Harris questioned Paris about her irrelevance, citing the Kardashians’ fame as an example of how Paris has been overshadowed in the famewhore game. Paris looked off camera (to her publicist, it seems) and then she got up in a huff, temporarily leaving the interview. She later returned and finished the segment. Now TooFab reports that Paris is all whiny about it, and she thinks she was “ambushed”. Seriously.
Paris Hilton is upset with ABC and correspondent Dan Harris for airing an “Good Morning America” interview that went awry, a source close to the situation tells TooFab exclusively.
The 30-year-old reality TV star walked off set because Harris deviated from the agreed-upon (and very serious) topic of stalking, the source says.
The source says Hilton invited Harris and his camera crew into her home to talk about the recent string of celebrity stalkings. Hilton’s alleged stalker, James Rainford, was recently arrested and charged with attacking her then-boyfriend Cy Waits in April and stalking her outside her home in July.
“Do you worry sometimes that people that have followed in your footsteps like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?” Harris asked.
“No, not at all,” Hilton responded.
“Do you worry about your moment having passed?” Harris pressed on, at which point Hilton audibly scoffed and left her chair.
The source says that particular question set Hilton off because just moments prior, Harris had gone on and on about the success (to the tune of $1 billion) of her fragrance lines and merchandising. “It’s ridiculous that he went on an on about her making a billion dollars, and then asking if she’s relevant,” the source added. “She is upset. She felt ambushed.”
The source adds that Hilton resumed the interview after ABC told her they were cutting out the part where she walked away, but they did not. The source also says Hilton feels Harris did this only to get publicity for himself, which he’s now accomplished.

Absolutely. Ridiculous. Paris Hilton was doing a sit-down interview which was being pre-taped (it’s not like this junk was live!), and she was trying to promote her failing reality show which no one cares about. The only way she gets attention anymore is by getting arrested, hooking up with someone major, or being absolutely idiotic (see this post). Instead of being smart enough to say, “Well, I think my multiple successful business interests speak for themselves,” Paris showed her ass and let everyone know that she actually is THAT irrelevant, and she knows it too.
By the way, don’t you love that Paris is calling Dan Harris a famewhore? That’s what she’s saying – “He’s only famous because he asked me a mean question!” It’s called being a half-decent journalist, for the love of God.

This idiot missed a golden opportunity to give people the impression that she is anything more than a useless waste of space. She should have taken the questions on the chin and responded politely and the reporter probably would have moved on. That would have been the classy thing to do and people might have actually given her a bit of kudos for doing so.
Needless to say, she blew it.
She obviously subscribes to the Sarah Palin view of journalists–i.e. that their job is to ask puff-ball questions and anything probing or challenging is “mean” and “gotcha”.

I loved that when she came back after her storm-off, her response was so carefully & clearly given to her by her publicist and she had rehearsed it.
This is so stupid of her. She can’t “face” her critics, but has no problem polluting the airwaves with an “entertainment” program of her creation, that begs scrutiny.
Hilton’s must be one of those real life examples of the dumbing of the gene pool of the “elite.”
She just didn’t know how to deal with someone who has a real job and actually earns their salary, instead of relying on the family name to make money.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: there is very little point to her existence on this planet. If SHE would do something constructive in the world to help make it a better place, her life wouldn’t be so vapid and she would learn how to handle an interview by a competent and talented journalist.

i saw this and immediately thought the whole thing was staged by both parisite and the interviewer. they’re both getting publicity now- isn’t that what these bottom feeders crave? a fake “scadal” to create fake “controversy”. yawn.
Paris is one of the most useless people around. She has a ton of money at her fingertips and all she does is show her crotch, make a sex tape, do boring reality shows, put her name on products, pose for photographers, party, whine when someone doesn’t kiss her feet and generally just take up space.
There is so much more she could be doing with her money that would actually be a help to society and a good use of her time. But, she is too stupid and spoiled to know that or care. Her parents not only did a lousy job bringing her up, but they enable and make excuses for her behavior.

I just looked it up to find out how, exactly, she intended to help those putative others, and this is what she said to Barbara Walters: working for breast cancer and multiple sclerosis charities, and starting a Paris Hilton Playhouse for sick children. Paris, reports Barbara, has also begun consulting a spiritual advisor.

3. If I were her publicist I would have told her to say that she is glad that Kim was able to use her association with Paris to propel her into the spotlight and that she is happy for Kim’s success since there is enough room in the Celebrity Universe for both the Hiltons AND the Kardashians.
Regarding her being over, she should calmly listed all of her recent successes including $$ value. End of story. She would have looked professional and not like a big spoiled baby. Again, where is her publicist???

I don’t see the instant corelation between making megabucks on superficial items like hangbags, shoes and yet another average perfume and actually being relevant. Doesn’t being relevant mean if you disappeared you’d leave a hole? Not any more Paris. The public at large would not miss you. That’s part of the point Dan Harris was trying to make. Neither you or your publicist (or whomever was advising you off camera) were smart enough to understand and answer. It may not have been Access Hollywood but it was only GMA.

Alledgedly, the interview was set up solely as a type of revelatory piece on stalking and the very real dangers of it.
If this is true, the interviewer WAS taking the lesser road and veering onto a subject which would inflame her.
He got his desired result, and she really let herself down.
She claims constantly how much of a savvy business woman she is and when asked a question which is not favourable, she cannot even turn it around to suit her purposes.

She got out of jail and told Larry King she was going to stop talking in baby talk and do all this volunter stuff and opening a wing to a hospital — or whatever bull she said back then. Years later, nada, and still talking in her baby talk. Then she tells him it’s a character and not how she really is and then at the end she thanks him in baby talk. LOL You’re fooling no one, Paris.

If you watch the put-takes that the news show provided on their site, she kept looking to the side the whole time he was asking questions and she wasn’t answering then all of a sudden she decided to walk off. Someone on the side was telling her to leave. She wasn’t even thinking for herself…no surprise because she probably is incapable but it had to be her publicist or someone telling her these questions were inappropriate.

I watch my 4-month old niece during the days and sometimes we watch How Do I Look? on Oxygen. Well they’ve had commercials about the “SEASON finale” of Paris’ show. I was like…I wonder how much she had to pay them to say season finale and not series finale…..
What did she do to her face? She definitely had some work done, but it’s surprisingly subtle and actually makes her look better. She looks more like her sister now too. Fillers maybe?

I’ve seen Paris Hilton many times in public environments and she is actually a very polite and considerate person. She is respectful of people who approach her, always signs autographs and poses for pictures, smiles back and waves at people and so on. I personally think the questions here were inappropriate and I don’t blame her for objecting. I think those who treat others with honesty and respect should be treated likewise.

I actually wanted to write to GMA and ask them why, for the love of all that is good and important and relevant, a NEWS program would even bother to have an interview with that twit. WHY does she even get to be heard about ANYTHING – especially on a news show?! I like that show and the reporters for the most part, but if they go down a path of having narcissistic idiots like this one on while I am trying to enjoy my morning coffee and catch up on our world, then I might have to abandon them for another station.
