I’m kind of sick about this – we don’t have access to photos of Jennifer Aniston at last night’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards. You can see some of the photos here, at LaineyGossip. I’m particularly sick that we don’t have THIS PHOTO of Chelsea Handler and Jennifer Aniston embracing, and it looks like Chelsea is Aniston’s new bitch and Aniston looks the most “pregnant” I’ve ever seen her. So this morning I was in a funk because I couldn’t write a story with the relevant photos claiming that Aniston was preggo, but then Us Weekly published this interesting little piece about “behind the scenes” with Aniston at the Glamour event. Apparently, she was downing vodka… so, she’s not knocked up.
Jennifer Aniston’s NYC empire isn’t expanding after all. Although The Hollywood Reporter claimed over the weekend that the Wanderlust actress, 42, purchased a $9 million apartment in Manhattan’s Gramercy nabe, her rep tells Us Weekly it’s “not true.”
Aniston herself laughed off the real estate rumor at Monday’s dinner at MoMA for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, where she was an honoree.
Sipping a vodka tonic at the bar, the star received congrats about her “new” Gramercy home from pals. Giggling, she exclaimed, “no!” and explained that she checked out the home (where the monthly maintenance was a reported $11,000!) but opted to not to buy.
Indeed, it’s not like Aniston and beau Justin Theroux are in want of more space in the Big Apple. This past spring, she spent about $8 million to purchase not one but two adjoining apartments in an Art Deco building in the West Village (near beau Theroux’s old home with ex Heidi Bivens). Once renovations are complete, Aniston and Theroux, 40, will have 2,700 square feet of interior space and 900 square feet of outdoor space in the mega-duplex.
And she and Theroux appeared lovey-dover as ever at Monday’s Glamour dinner. — holding hands, laughing and nuzzling throughout the meal, even posing cheek-to-cheek for a fan’s snapshot.

So that report about the new real estate purchase was false – probably a leak from the real estate company, trying to drive up interest in the property. I wonder if Aniston and Justin are staying in the “mega-duplex” as it’s being renovated?
As for the pregnancy thing, I guess that just shows you that even if Aniston gives a very specific and direct denial, people are still going to examine her thoroughly and exhaustively for any sign of a bump. Two weeks ago, she said flat-out: “Rumor number one: I am not planning to get married any time soon. I’ve been married once, and I don’t know if I’ll get married again. But I can tell you that as of this very moment, I have no plan to get married. Got that? And rumor Number two: no, we’re not pregnant. It’s just I quit smoking, so I’ve gained a couple of pounds.” This weight gain of a few pounds has gone to her boobs and midsection and it’s giving her a preggo vibe, I guess.

Me thinks she is too selfish/into herself to ever have a baby, and good for her for realizing this.
She’s probably not going to have a child, at least not one that she carries and gives birth too. There’s still plenty of time for her to get pregnant and have a baby, but I don’t advise holding ones breath until she does lol.
I do have to admit that it is a lot of fun to read the articles and comments about this, and look at the pictures where people analyze how big her stomach is, whether her breasts are bigger, and just how much she is glowing; it cracks me up.
She looks gorgeous in those pics, and definitely a little more voluptuous than usual.
Everyone says she doesnt want children, etc. Maybe she cant have them has anyone considered that. Maybe that is why he left, had ten zillion with Angie. Some women cant have children, astonishing but true.

She’s been very clear that she is not pregnant. There shouldn’t be any more speculation about it.

I think the weight gain looks good on her. Maybe she is taking that advice about gaining a little weight as you age to look younger. If she doesn’t want a baby, good for her, but if she does want one, she’d better do it now.
As for the “selfish” comments, WTF? Someone is selfish because they DON’T have a baby? Personally, I think selfish is having a baby to catch/keep a man (Angelina?) or to get a payday (Bieber-baby? Grant-baby? Law-baby).

The apartment the media was referring to at 50 Gramercy has been under contract since Oct 26 so technically it hasn’t been sold yet and technically no one has bought it yet. The only other available units are either way less expensive (like $5 million) or more expensive (like almost $12 mil and 20 mil).
I believe the common fees include the real estate taxes as well. Not sure but these apartments seem to have a combination condo/coop type financing.
The only thing I can say about the Nonpregnancy nonsense is what I’ve always said about her – if she really wanted to be a mother she would be one by now. Talk is cheap.
Has she swapped tequila for vodka? Jen just isn’t interesting anymore. If she wants to fade into the sunset with Justin that’s OK with me. Chelsea looks haggard – at least Jen looks a little better with more weight on. Someone should tell Cameron Diaz the same thing.

I really dont know.I think most people think that if you dont have children that you are selfish,but to me at the end of the day its a personal choice and I think society stresses that you are not fully a woman if you dont have any.

I’m not sure what to say. I would agree with you that both “sides” of this media fed “triangle” have unstable people who make posts about them or people who just enjoy stirring the pot. I try to maintain a decent level of objectivity, as well as a sense of humor when reading the feuding posts. I only commented that your comparison between Aniston and the Kardashians was, to me, obviously way off target and inaccurate. I mean I think that you know that too, right? (smile) I figured you were just overstating a point i.e. you don’t care for Anniston. As you pointed out in your 2nd post, maybe inadvertently, people seriously overdramatize about all of these people and their lives. I think your first post was one such overdramatization. It was kind of funny actually.
Anyway, I don’t think being a fan of Jennifer, Angelina, or Brad makes anyone “vile or ignorant”. If said fans attack one another personally then that is taking things too far. I believe that people can differ in opinion and it be no big deal. In fact, that’s all I was doing originally. I didn’t think Aniston equated to Kardashian so I pointed it out. I think her fans are well aware that she’s not the type who will likely get married and have a family. I think it’s possible that she wants these things theoretically but for whatever reason (divorce comes to mind) it hasn’t happened for her. That’s likely one of the reasons people like her. She’s fun, boozy and free from any major responsibilities. I have a feeling that quite a few women would kill for her personal freedom.

To repeat for the 528th time: considering Courteney has been very vocal about her miscarriages and problems getting pregnant and being outspoken to raise awareness for women who have fertility problems, if Aniston truly had problems conceiving, she would have talked about it by now. To help her bestie raising awareness, if for no other reason. Had YOU ever thought of that? Suffice it to say, its more than obvious Aniston has no problems conceiving or else she would have said something. Next.

I agree with some. That’s great when you are a teen, that’s why sometimes it’s called the ‘innocent years’ but even at that time, adults around you wish you to grow and be more responsible.
I don’t fault Jen at all, it’s her life and her personality but with that mentality of hers, the only men that will fit her will be immature guys too with the same perspective about life.

I can’t begin to imagine how one could spend an hour talking to her without getting bored into a coma. Katherine and others: Obviously she has normal adult responsibilities and she seems to like dealing in real estate and renovating homes and such. What I meant was that she has no children and isn’t chained to a man (plus she likes a good cocktail-who doesn’t?).
You never had a fun aunt? I did. She was divorced and never got married again (incidentally all of my aunts followed this pattern but the rest had children). She never had kids. Her house was always open to us and she was great. My aunts and my mom, try as they may, never could disguise the fact that they were jealous of her freedom from children and/or husbands.
I don’t see it as pathetic or sad or irritating. I see her as a woman who did what she thought she was supposed to do, it didn’t work out for her and now she’s doing what she really wants to do. That is admirable in my opinion. She didn’t cave to the considerable public pressure she was under and marry someone just to be married. I know a lot of women who did that and are now divorced or miserably married.
Some of you act like after 40 you have to be austere and, frankly, boring. Maturity doesn’t mean you can’t go to Cabo with your girlfriends on vacation. It doesn’t mean you can’t drink or have fun. Some of you must be the most boring people on this planet if you believe that you can’t be considered ‘fun’ after a certain age. Lighten up.
I’d rather grow old with a sense of humor about it than being some austere old lady growing old with ‘serenity’ (whatever that means).

Its an english site and so is FemaleFirst so I suspect that alot ofthe ff write on the daily mail aswell. But so many people dislike her I just wish more of us would go there and thumb her down.
