Please do visit your local mall or send an assistant to purchase a pair of Levi’s blue jeans. They are an absolute wardrobe staple for busy moms everywhere. You might also be interested in a comfortable Hanes t-shirt which you can pair with a cardigan for a more dressed up look.
Tennis shoes are often the shoe of choice when wearing blue jeans however you may individualize your look with ballet flats, boots, or even a small heeled sandal. All of the above items can be bought at reasonable or completely outrageous prices so you have a wide variety of options. Finally, you may not purchase any of said items in black….yes it is available just not advisable.
Capella would be able to advise you on other farmers market worthy wear. Capella along with myself feel that you may have lost your way confusing a black skirt as all purpose wear when in fact it is not.

I am writing under this post but it’s actually a reply to all posters asking why Jolie doesn’t wear jeans like all moms that go to farmer’s markets.
Because she’s not like all moms, and never will be, no matter what – and I mean it in a neutral way, neither praising her at this point, nor criticizing it.
People like deluding themselves thinking that celebrities are like them, because they wear the same jeans, cute tank tops and scarves (and being “like us” makes them likeable) but unless you live in a $10mln mansion and work in the show biz, you’re doing just that, deluding yourselves.
And I’m not saying you can’t have personal reasons to like a celebrity, or share their views, but let’s face it, your favorite celebrity is not at all like you.
As for Jolie, she’s obviously a thorn in many sides and whether she wears jeans or not won’t change it a bit. She could wear a diamond crown to the farmer’s market, or cargo pants, and it wouldn’t matter.

Thats the whole point. How do we know she DIDN’T come straight from a business meeting? Unless they are on disability, unemployed or on a day off, most working mothers are dressed up in suits when they stop off in their lunch hour or after work to get some groceries.
There is quote somewhere where she said that she threw away all her jeans. She didn’t want to be one of those moms who just lives in her jeans and knew that if she didn’t make an effort, she would never be out of her jeans and t shirts, since she had so many kids.

Please tell me why she has to wear jeans? I hate jeans they are so uncomfortable. I own one pair and took me trying on about 20 pairs before I found this one pair. And I’m not overweight by no means. I agree, Deltona. I almost never wear jeans anymore. I consider Angelina’s outfit definitely casual wear since I wear suits for work. I wear a lot of casual slim skirts or slacks. I like looking nice and more sophisticated though I do live in a city and I am not in my 20s anymore. Even when I wore jeans I usualy wore them with blazers and a nice shirt.

I live in my jeans – I work in tech and creative. I usually wear casual dresses (not muu muus) or capris on the weekend (doable in LA). Other women could wear khakis. I look hideous in khakis and I don’t see AJ in them either but some women look adorable in them.
She totally looks office cubicle in that outfit. I have a very similar skirt in brown that I never wear because I don’t find office wear appropriate for weekends, dates, dinner out (not fancy enough) and I would look ridiculous at work (I do sneak in flat front slacks and dresses).

I agree 1 thousand percent! I’ve never owned a pair of jeans. Honest. I hate the feel of denim against my body. Its really coarse material. I like suit pants, cotton pants or fleece ones. Nice soft silky comfy material. I had a pair of denim shorts and a denim skirt once, they were enough. Far too uncomfortable for me.

For someone always proclaiming how dressing up is a chore for her she rarely dresses casually like the average mother or matter of fact woman. I consider Jennifer Garner a regular mother while Jolie is always in dress clothes (even if we often see stains on them). She can’t look “normal.”
It was the first thing I though-what a ridiculous outfit. Maybe she was coming from/going to a meeting? I don’t know but she looks ridiculous all dressed up to buy fruit and vegg.
I honestly think she’s uncomfortable with public outings like this because she’s so easily recognized. The black outfit and sunglasses are her armor, the wall she puts up to deal with it. I mean, did you see that guy shoving the cell phone in her face when she was standing at a table trying to talk to the vendor? That’s just rude, but she can’t freak out about it because it’ll cause a scene and negative publicity. She knows that it comes with the territory. No, that’s not what I said, nor what I meant. I meant, and wrote that neither is okay. I hate to see anyone bashed for weight at either end of the spectrum. I have friends and family, thinner, heavier, etc. I have had many people in my life that I LOVE, and have hated to see them bashed for it either way. 🙁 I do know societal mores as they are that one may seem easier, but I have lived the ‘scary skinny’ thing myself and it’s not okay for anyone to comment on something I have no control over. It may seem that thin is in but in reality it is Hollywood that pushes that crap, it’s not reality, in reality people feel far more comfortable telling a person to their face that they need to gain weight. I would NEVER bash an overweight person, and I would stick up for them as well if I saw someone else doing it. It’s not okay on either side. That’s how I feel and that’s exactly what I mean.

When u look at the pictures, it’s really silly how some people said that Angie is not close with her biological kids and jealous with Shiloh.
Did they see how Angie put her hand around Shiloh’s shoulder and the girl hold back her mother’s hand? Or how Knox seems really close to her mom? How it seems that Angie reach inside her bag to get something to clean Knox’s cheek? People would just assumed the worst from her. If Angie not dressing up they talk about it. If Shiloh wear a dress with a long hair but look upset they would somehow blame Angie too. If they go out and everyone looks happy people would only say it’s just an act. Nothing is ever right.

These are nice pictures. Angelina Jolie lives in pencil skirts and tops(mainly all black.) She doesn’t have to wear jeans if she isn’t comfortable in them.
I don’t think she is pregnant (Angelina) I think it is just a woman that had two pregnancies. One with twins and didn’t have a tummy tuck. which laughs a bit in the face of the people that scream plastic surgery. If she was concerned and using botox like some claim then why not go and get a flat tummy. yeah makes no sense. She just has a bump from carrying babies and not getting something done to correct it.
regarding her clothes, she has been dressing this way for a number of years. I don’t see jeans in the future. She obviously doesn’t want to wear them, and it also seem Brad nor her mind. The pictures of Knox and the others are cute. and it looks like they were photographed but from enough distance as to not bother the children too much. The people around them are looking a bit but going on with their business. That must have been a nice change. They do go out a lot. And when they take a few kids to do different activities it cuts down on the crazy of seeing all 6 at once.

I can’t believe how much Shiloh looks like Brad. She used to look like both Brad and Angie to me but now she’s 100% all brad. Knox on the other hand is Angie’s mini-me with a chubby face. So here is what I find funny. The men in this family have long hair (Brad, Knox, frequently Maddox). However the little girl in the family who wants to be a boy has to have her hair cut short to look like a boy? It’s amazing that people hate her so much that the haters will attack Angelina for most insignificant things. Attacking her for not wearing jeans is really desperate. Especially since the same people probably don’t say a thing or praise Victoria Beckham for wearing 6″ heals and dresses to Disneyland and her kids’ soccer games. She’s wearing what’s comfortable for her. She’s probably not comfortable wearing jeans. Not everybody loves them.

ITA. Its just the rabid loonistons venting their spleen yet again. If they were a dog they’d be put down. #Rabies. Most of the loonistons are completely psycho and f8cked up in the head and need to be put down.
She had the twins stomach for awhile but when wearing pencil skirts last summer, her stomach area did not look like that. Check the New Orleans family picture. Don’t know why but it seems as if she is pregnant again, she said it herself.
Who cares what she wears? I don’t. I feel stressed just looking at these photos tho! Hard to manage three kids. She needs a pony tail to get her hair out of the way. I imagine there were “handlers” there helping her, but maybe not.
It is really desperate and to make nearly over 100 comments and most of them are from people complaining about what she’s wearing. Most are you from haters. I mean you really have to be a hater if you can nitpick someone that much it’s not just that you don’t like what they’re wearing but you are petty. Angelina Jolie will never satisfy you if you don’t like her. I mean some of you really must don’t anything better to do with your time. All the kids are adorable especially Knox riding the pony.
