Last year, British model and “one of the most beautiful men in the world” David Gandy began dating a woman in the British girl group, The Saturdays. The girl was Mollie King, and two seconds after she and Gandy began dating, Mollie started giving interviews about him and their relationship. Which did not endear her to me at all. Anyway, Gandy dumped Mollie a few months ago, and I was really hoping that was the last I would hear of her. But no! This woman has managed to attach herself to PRINCE HARRY. For the love of God!

HE’S a Prince, she’s a pop princess called King – and they are said to be “head over heels”. Prince Harry, third in line to the throne, is enjoying a blossoming friendship with singer Mollie King of girl band The Saturdays. He is claimed to be “completely smitten” with the beautiful blonde, who split from male model David Gandy two months ago.

Harry, 27, first met 24-year-old Mollie, almost two years ago. In the past few weeks they have been spotted flirting in bars and a club. Some sources say their friendship has already blossomed into a full-blown romance but claim the couple have tried to keep it under wraps from even closest friends.

One said: “It’s very early days for them but they’re head over heels.”

Last week partygoers saw them and pals having a karaoke session in the Bunga Bunga club in London. At 3am the club closed to everyone apart from “special guests” as Harry and Mollie, whose group has had 10 top 10 singles and three top 10 albums, downed cocktails and sang Adele and Jay-Z songs before leaving separately.

The two met at the Asprey World Class Cup at Hurtwood Polo Club in Surrey in July 2010 when London-born Mollie cheered on Harry on the polo field. He was later introduced to her. In the past months, she has been seen in Public, The Mayfair Polynesian and Nobu Berkeley, all London haunts frequented by Harry.

Mollie has also been given the royal seal of approval by Harry’s cousin Zara Phillips, who is friends with her bandmate Una Healy, 30. Una’s fiance Ben Foden is a rugby player like Zara’s husband Mike Tindall. The three women have been spotted at matches together.

Last month, Harry, who dated blonde Chelsy Davy for several years, complained that being a Prince stopped him finding love. Reflecting on his chances of marriage, he said: “I’m not so much searching for someone to fulfil the role, but finding someone willing to take it on.”

My opinion (and seriously, don’t start yelling at me for simply stating my general opinion on this woman): Mollie is Harry’s type, because she seems like a pushy, somewhat trashy little famewhore. Granted, Chelsea Davy wasn’t a famewhore – the exact opposite (and that was the problem). But Harry definitely likes girls who are NOT “the marrying kind.” He likes a blonde who knows how to drink him under the table. He likes club girls. He likes party girls. So while the idea of Mollie and Harry is disappointing, I also understand how it may have happened, or how it could happen. Still, it’s not like he’s going to marry a chick in a girl-band, you know? This will last a few months, tops. If it wasn’t just a one-night-stand to begin with.
