These are some new photos of Halle Berry at Revoln’s Run-Walk yesterday in LA. I’m really not crazy about her hair – does anyone think she looks a bit Janet Jackson-ish? And by that I mean tweaked. Anyway, last week, CB discussed an unfortunate incident in which Halle Berry went OFF on some paparazzi who were set up outside of Nahla Aubry’s school. As CB said, while Halle seems like a piece of work, the paparazzi’s actions were ridiculous and likely illegal too. It doesn’t matter if Halle calls the paps to photograph “happy family candid portraits” with Nahla and Olivier Martinez – the paps still shouldn’t be at Nahla’s school. Halle had every right to be angry and to yell about it, and she probably should have pressed charges too. Unfortunately for Nahla’s father, Halle is also going to use the incident to push harder to move to France with Nahla and Olivier. Oh, Halle. Stop.
Halle Berry is “more committed than ever” to moving her four-year-old daughter to France, following a nasty altercation with an over zealous and aggressive paparazzo, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The pressure that has been building over recent months reached boiling point for the 45-year-old actress this week when she arrived to pick up Nahla from school and ended up in a heated verbal battle with an angry photographer.
The Catwoman star was swarmed by photographers and asked them get off the school property or she would call the police, reveals an eyewitness, prompting one snapper to snarl, “f**k off… you make millions and I have a right to make money too.”
Halle became inflamed by the confrontation and began arguing with the photographer telling him, “Why don’t you go do an honest job and stop harassing me and my daughter?”
A school official and another parent got drawn into the drama, and the police soon arrived to inform all of the paparazzi to leave the grounds and helped the Oscar winner safely escort Nahla to her car.
“The school has only ever seen this type of chaos since Halle arrived with Nahla,” revealed a fellow parent, adding that even though there are other celebrity children who attend the school, they’ve only witnessed this type of aggression from the paparazzi towards Halle.
One of the mothers revealed that after the photographers were forced to leave by police, Halle broke down in tears and sobbed that this is no way for Nahla to live, saying she does everything in her power to protect the little girl.
In the past, friends have stated that Nahla is terrified when she sees the paparazzi anywhere and Halle has asked them to stop taking her picture and leave her alone.
“They scream out her name constantly and say awful things about Halle in front of her,” said a pal.
Halle is now “more committed than ever” to get Nahla away from Los Angeles the pal says, and as RadarOnline.com previously reported, this is the primary reason Halle has given for wanting to move to France with fiancé Olivier Martinez, because the paparazzi laws there offer more protection.

Regarding the “Nahla is terrified of the paparazzi” issue… am I alone in thinking it’s way more complicated than that? I see paparazzi photos of Nahla with Gabriel and with Halle. Judging solely from those photos, Nahla simply seems more relaxed and less anxious when she’s with her father. When I see Nahla and her dad, it feels like Nahla is feeding off Gabriel’s calm, loving energy, and she seems like a normal kid.
But when Nahla is photographed with Halle, there’s a wider variation in moods, and I’m assuming that part of Radar’s sources’ arguments is true – the paparazzi are more aggressive with Halle, they’ll get closer to her, they’ll say things to her, and Nahla reacts to that. I also think Nahla is reacting to her mother’s mood swings too, because kids are smart and if a parent freaks out, the child will freak out too. There are also (mostly telephoto lens) shots where Nahla and Halle and Olivier are all looking happy and everything is beachy-fun-family, and Halle – I believe – sets up some of those photo shoots to “prove” that Nahla has a new daddy – Olivier.
So… while I think Halle has a valid argument against the paparazzi, she also feeds the chaos and she feeds Nahla’s bad reactions to the chaos too. Mostly I just think Halle kind of sucks for using this unfortunate incident as an argument FOR moving her daughter far away from her father.

If it was REALLY ABOUT NAHLA’S SAFETY, Halle would simply move OUT OF L.A.
Many other celebrities have happilly relocated their families far, far away from that rats’ nest. Montana seems to be a popular choice, so is Colorado, Connecticut, and lots of other beautiful, peaceful places, where the family can grow together without any exposure to papparazzi, yet the parent can always get away for work.
Halle is a POS for using any excuse to move to France – this seems to be her only purpose, and Nahla is simply another card in her hand, and unfortunately stuck in the losing position.
And lets be honest – who here did not wonder, even for a moment, if Halle actually SET UP this whole exchange, this spat? She is an actress, she hates Nahla’s father – how easy to call the same papps she always does, and then pretend to be offended, attacked, taken advantage of? And break down in tears that ‘this is no way for Nahla to live’ ???
My God – I am CERTAIN she did set it up, since she is desperate to go to France, to hurt Gabriel as much as possible, and to use Nahla to reach her aims. Plus she is actually sick enough to pull crap like that off.
She makes me icky all over! Halle – 5 more years, and you’ll be 50!!! Time to start behaving like a responsible adult, FFS.

I KNEW THAT! Oh, my goodness gracious, I knew that, as soon as I read of her scene outside Nhala’s school I knew she was going to use the sympathy to push her “Nhala is not safe, she needs to come to France with me and far far away from her daddy” master plan.

I totally agree with you. I think she over-reacted to the situation so that it would look like a worse situation than it actually was. If the paps were trespassing, then the police should have been called and there would be a police report to take to court. Ironic that the only ‘proof’ she has is the pap pics. Nahla is not the first child to be followed to school by the paps most handle it in a more civilized way.
Halle has made Nahla an issue and her photo is now “worth something” I doubt that this will change in France. The US paps aren’t the ones who possibly killed Princess Diana. This is soooo not about Nahla.

I agree with all of the comments above. While Halle did have a right to be upset, was it necessary to use that kind of language near the school? How close were the kids? I have no idea where the children were at the time but she is a piece of work.
I think her motivations are manipulative. The incident proved how angry she can get and I bet that’s only the icing and the rage inside is even worse.
Nahla seems much happier with her dad. I think Halle screwed the pooch on this one. She has proven to be unstable, period.
I feel sorry for the child. She will need some serious therapy later in life (at least would be my guess) and than a tell all book about her famous, albeit crazy mother.

But Halle had stated herself before the break-up, Gabriel is very relaxed, drama-free, and used to keep her grounded. Guess with Oliver, it is more emotional of a relationship.
I also think she can’t keep it together and is feeding her daughter’s fears. Children do feel on their parents’ emotions, even when you try to plaster a smile on your face. Until the age of 7, they react with “gut feelings”.

Sorry, but she calls the paps when she’s at a public beach and yet gets mad when they show up at a public school out side? Not even sorry about it. She brought this on her self. Gabriel Aubrey’s attorney needs to point out just what Kaiser said; That Nahla looks very calm and happy with no paparazzi “terrors” when she’s with him. Mom’s another story, although I think that little girl is probably SO used to being photographed that she doesn’t think twice about them- (unless her mother’s acting like a crazy loon)
It would be very unusual if a judge let her take a minor out of the country anyway- she’d end up having to pay for Nahla to fly back and forth all the time if they did. Nice life for a 5 year old, Halle! (bitch)
I think more judges are also becoming aware of the ease at which parents flaunt US custody agreements and work to alienate the other parent by taking advantage of foreign courts

I can’t sympathize with a woman who appreciates having the paps around when it’s convenient, i.e. when she needs documentation that she is a good mother and her child is happy for right before a court date.
Gabriel should use this arguement…if Halle is the one being followed and harrassed by the paps, then perhaps Nahla should live with him full time so that she will not be subjected to this…with Halle getting to see the little girl when she wants…problem solved and nobody has to move to France! Also, I think she is rocking the longer hair because she had a little work done to her face and is covering the scars! I think this hair makes her eyes and face look crazier than usual…like a wild woman!

I would love to raise my little girl in France instead of LA. I think it would be an amazing experience compared to shallow LA. But her daughter has a father who is vital to her upbringing and he has rights. If she wants to move, she needs to offer to buy him a beautiful townhome or Parisian apartment, no matter the huge cost, if they want to live in Paris. Maybe, because he is a part-time model, he will agree to it, since he travels for work anyway, if she makes a huge offer to him to make it attractive for him to move.
If not, if he doesn’t want to, she needs to give it up. He has half custody. If he doesn’t relocate, too, there is no way it’s good for the child as she will be on airplanes all the time as he exercises his rights for half custody or visitation. That isn’t good for the child nor her relationship with her dad being far away. My friend’s husband had half custody. His wife wanted to move to another state for a guy. The husband, a lawyer, fought her, and she couldn’t take the children out of state since it was for no good reason. She moved anyway, and he took full custody of his 12-year-old and 15-year-old sons.
Nah, the reason she wants to move to France is to take Nahla away from her father…that’s it. The pap stories are just an excuse to try to make it seem like Nahla’s life is in danger so the judge will agree.

I honestly think she suffers from narcissistic personality disorder – she’ll manipulate people and situations to always make herself look like the wronged victim and throw huge tantrums when disagreed with. @Jaded – I completely agree with you and that is what I have been saying all along. She is a narcissist of the first order and people with NPD are not to be taken lightly. I am related to someone who is serving life in prison for murdering his wife and we have been saying all along that he has NPD. The one thing that stands out with these people is they are ALWAYS looking to blame someone else. It is NEVER their fault and everything is about THEIR needs and wants. And they carry the anger from all the things often perceived, done wrong with them forever.

We all saw this coming a mile away. GA was a well-paid model before all of this and could have continued to support himself and his daughter and not asked for a dime. Halle caused all this grief. Halle does not look like she will stop till she ruins GA financially and takes his child away. Now he truly needs the money he recently asked the Court to award him. For his own security and whatever hassle Halle causes next. I too am worried about his safety and I hope the Judge is paying attention. Halle will not stop. If this “France move” is not allowed, I bet she will ask for a new Judge and start all over. Sad and scary.

She has so much money, she could change schools; she could gate her house; she could afford a fleet of security guards. She makes no effort other than to use the paps against Gabriel in court as an excuse to try to get Nahla away from him.
Nahla looks very calm and at ease when she’s with her father, but when she’s with her mother, it’s like the crazy seeps in and destabilises her.
I still think she’s one of the most physically beautiful women in Hollywood, although this hair is blocking her fabulous facial bone structure. Not a good look, but oh well, it’s her head.
As for her daughter, I just feel totally sad for her. Every child wants BOTH his/her parents, and — absent proven outrageous conduct on the part of a parent, which has not at all been established here — both parents owe it to the child to make access to both parents easy for the child, regardless of how they feel about each other. I don’t know what Halle knows or thinks she knows about Gabriel’s parenting, but I do know that no court has agreed with her yet. It’s really starting to look like she’s just a selfish woman who won’t put her child’s needs ahead of her own.

I’d hate to be the Judge in this case. One thing I’d be afraid of is if Gabriel were awarded full custody, as some have stated in their posts above. Can you imagine how she’d react? It could push her over the edge. In that event I would seriously worry for the safety of both Gabriel and Nahla.
If this was a celeb that never relied on calling the paps on herself and her daughter I’d be on her side but by continually calling them in she’s broken down the barriers herself.

I just realize the only thing missing from Halle’s staged setup was her cast. Wouldn’t it have made her look even more vulnerable? Halle you are slipping. I believe her relationship with Olivier is just a business arrangement. I mean she had to backtrack on her whole “I will never get married again” mantra. That hair is a major distraction, which again was planned, to cover work done. No woman in her right mind would add that much hair to her head at the start of the hot weather season.
I forgot to add that this woman has a list of how to alienate Gabriel from his daughter. First she tried saying Nahla wasn’t safe to be around Gabriel. Wasn’t there some allegations of sexual abuse or something like that? Then it was he is a racist (which I think she is the racist), then it was he pushed the nanny and at some point while working with Olivier on their straight to DVD movie she must have come up with the scheme of marrying him and moving overseas to wrench Nahla away from Gabriel. I can’t stand people who don’t put their children first. Halle and Henri Penault should get together.
Even if she moves to France she won’t be there long. Halle has ended every relationship in full-on hate mode. When she’s done with Olivier she’ll come back. What these moves would mean to Nahla is a whole different story.

Halle has no right to take Nahla away from her father. If she want’s to go live with her lover in France leave Nahla in a stable environment where she can go to school. Olivier is well known as a cheater he has cheated on just about all his girlfriends. Gabriel nd his team can show the judge hundreds of photos of Halle being fine having the paps around Nahla and if they can prove it’s Halle or her team calling the paps the Judge should see her as the scammer she is. Nothing was being done to Nahla it was like every other pickup from school until Halle decided to use it to her own advantage. Her hair is just stupid she looks worse then sideshow bob. Wouldn’t put it past her to have done it for yet more attention. I can’t believe an Oscar got wasted on this loser.
Too bad we can’t get one of the paps to admit that it was a set up, and that Halle was going to react like that…just like the script.
All joking and eye rolling aside, I’m really starting to think this lady may not have all her wheels on the road–she’s got some very serious control issues going on here and she’s putting her kid in the middle of it. That kid isn’t a kid to her, she’s a possession. Maybe both parents should go through a psych eval, and the results should be taken into serious consideration as to who gets most of the custody and where. Halle sounds like she should be in therapy every day, her behavior reminds me of someone I know who was in a number of abusive relationships.
Um, you know if she really were concerned about paps, there are places in the U.S. she could move to avoid them. North Dakota comes to mind…

And Halle forgot that main reason why paparazzi hunt Nahla is because Halle started this crazy war against Gabriel. People didn’t care at all when they split up. No one was hunting Nahla. Only after Halle began wash her dirty laundry on public and calling to TMZ every day to tell stories how Gabriel is racist and so she should have sole custody – then she caught everyone’s attention and paps starter following her daughter.
And if she will go for real with this claim to judge – then Team Cabriel really should sue her for harassing him. She created that story with nanny, then was her non-stalker. Now this. Man wants to live normal life. Why he has to go to court every month to fight with her? They should ask judge to order psychiatric test on Halle. Because she is crazy and selfish narcissist who freaks out when things don’t go her way.
Remember when ex-husband of Sharon Stone went to court and took away their adopted son for sole custody because he said Sharon was crazy and was dangerous to their son? And judge did’t look that Sharon was famous celebrity. If Halle Berry can create this drama with Nanny and then go to police and create this thing with paparazzi and who knows what else – then it’s clearly something is wrong with her mental state.

this women wont last a month in france…all those celebrities claim they suffer from paparazzi…but the truth is that they crave attention…ive lived in france…that country is no place to live in…people are rude…the weather sucks..the nightlife is boring as hell…i dont get the charm of that place…unless ur going for a small vacation…and shopping…there is nothing to do there!!! nways this women is crazy…normal people attitude doesnt apply on her…so who knows!!! let her rot there!!! but leave the child with her dad please!

I’d more like to talk about how at the event she told a reporter for Extra that she plans to call President Obama and ask him to help protect her from the paparazzi. Because apparently she’s THAT important and the world literally revolves around her.
I do agree that there should be some laws protecting her children, but saying you’re going to call the president is so out of touch and very reminiscent of when Mitt Romney made that $10,00 bet.
