Kristen Stewart was in London for a few days to promote Snow White & The Huntsman, and then yesterday she flew to Germany. I was expecting to come in this morning to fresh Berlin premiere photos, but that didn’t happen. Maybe the Berlin premiere is tonight? I don’t know. I’m sure the Twihards will come in and tell me the schedule momentarily. While I’ve got the Twihards’ attention, does anyone know if SWATH also has a premiere at the Cannes Film Festival? I know Kristen is scheduled to appear on behalf of On the Road, but it seems like SWATH would also get a (non-competition) premiere at Cannes as well.
Anyway, I just thought I’d share this story – after the UK premiere of SWATH two nights ago (in which Kristen wore that Marchesa monstrosity), Kristen and her “f–king boyfriend” Robert Pattinson were all kinds of loved up at the post-premiere party. Aw, cute.
A fairytale romance fit for a fairytale premiere! Kristen Stewart didn’t have to attend the London premiere Monday of her new film Snow White and the Huntsman alone. Her Twilight costar and real-life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, secretly attended the premiere in his hometown at Empire Cinema London.
“Rob was Kristen’s date,” a source tells Us Weekly. Stewart, who plays Snow White, presented the film with the cast on stage while Pattinson watched from the audience.
“Rob was cheering and clapping for Kristen as they walked off stage,” the source adds. “He looked proud of his girlfriend.”
After the premiere, the cast attended Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka’s official after party at the Royal Courts of Justice. Stewart, 22, changed out of her black lace Marchesa gown into a leather jacket and jeans. Pattinson, who celebrated his 26th birthday Sunday, also dressed casually in his trademark baseball cap.
“Rob met Kristen there,” a partygoer tells Us. “They stayed together in the VIP area all night and looked really cozy. They made sure no one saw them or photographed them.”
But they weren’t alone! Pattinson also brought his family to the party to support his Snow White.

Is this how a studio-promoted couple eases their way into being an actual couple? I actually don’t think this is a studio romance at this point. I had some doubts a few years ago, but it feels more and more like the real deal. Kristen and Robert are really dating. She’s down with his family, he’s down with her family. He even brings his family to a party to support Kristen. It really is very cute. Rob’s going to be in Cannes too – and while the Twihards have high hopes that they’re walk each other’s red carpets together, I doubt it will happen. Still, I bet they party together every night.
These are some pics of Kristen in London, going into a BBC interview. I don’t get why the “side-knotted” t-shirt is her new trend. She’s been doing that for months, trying to make that look “happen”. It’s not happening. Also, those skinny jeans look poured on, they’re so incredibly tight. How is this outfit comfortable?

It really is one of the ugliest dresses I’ve ever seen.
I love her, and even I think that dress is completely horrific. I mean, it looks like a bunch of pubic hair glued on a grandma dress.
I love her to distraction, and except in closeups from the waist up, the dress horrifies me too. When you can see the bodice’s and sleeves’ detailing in a close shot that also highlights her nifty makeup, it is sort of stunning. But my gawd, really, what was coming out of her loins?

I believed that for a long time and I’ve changed my mind. I think it may have started as him being a beard (I call that “press-on nails”) but it no longer seems that way.

I used to think that robsten are real, but these days I believe that they put way too much effort in this hiding shit, and stewart seems to be too frustrated that nobody is buying this romance. Robert’s sister Lizzy brought her boyfriend as her date to Kristen’s Snow White premiere. I saw a picture of them arriving together. There was also a picture of Kristen talking to Lizzy who was smiling at the afterparty. Robert was sitting next to Kristen at the table. Kristen seems to get on well with Robert’s family. She has spent holidays, birthdays, etc with them for the past 3 years.
I heard that Kristen’s table was the fun table to be at that night. Charlize, Sam Claflin and Chris Hemsworth all ended up hanging out there. Marcus Foster and his girlfriend were there too. Kristen starred in his music video. I thought I saw Sam Bradley as well. He has been to a few of Kristen’s movie premieres in the past.
As with most couples, his friends become her friends and vice versa. Robert and Kristen have been seen going to their musician friends shows, together and separately. It’s nice how they all support eachother.

I agree with you, nina. The hiding has become part of, if not almost the entire show. The play-it-coy thing has kept the fans invested in a way I don’t think being a regular out in the open couple would have. The rest of the world has moved on, but it keeps the fans entertained.

I feel quite confidently that she is a lesbian, but completely caught up in the PR machine surrounding the Twilight franchise. I have thought she is like Jodi Foster, hell, she played her daughter in Panic Room. Does anyone remember any of her performances as a young child actor? She was a much better actor when she was younger, now her disaffected style just comes off as amateur.
I see her reluctance to participate fully in her public romance, it shows in her attitude in interviews. It is the worst closet to be locked in, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be. Oh Michele, I have had these thoughts (that’s all they are, really) since the first ever performance (I think it was Panic Room) of Kristen’s. Did I ever think she would reach the heights of fame she is currently enjoying? No. But one giant movie franchise later, here we are.
I don’t dislike her as an actress, and I certainly am not criticising her for being a closeted homosexual. But I do see this for what it is; a manufactured romance that keeps them packed in the theatres. Nothing more, nothing less. It has been practiced since the birth of the motion picture, and will continue forever after.
I do believe that Robert and Kristen are friends, and share something very special, just like most actors that spend a huge amount of time together for multiple films. Do I believe they are a couple. Not one second. But I am entitled to my opinion as much as you are yours.

There was no internet in the days of Rock Hudson, no tabloids etc. Much harder to hide these days. I am sure some actors do, but it seems obvious to me that these 2 are the real deal.
