Henry Cavill and Kaley Cuoco announced their breakup one week ago. Considering they only got together a few weeks before that, there really isn’t that much post-breakup analysis to go through. I mean, they hit it and quit it. They posed for photos at one point. No one is pretending that this was love, thankfully. But that hasn’t stopped Star from painting an unflattering portrait of Henry Cavill as some kind of cavalier, lothario/heartbreaker. Ridiculous.
One source tells Star Magazine that the romance “just fizzled out” but Star can report that Henry’s playboy past and Kaley’s costar, Johnny Galecki, contributed to the split.
“Henry’s a ladies’ man,” dishes an insider. “And even though Kaley and Johnny broke up three years ago, they’ve remained really close pals. Johnny was worried for her and thought Henry wasn’t being genuine.”
Henry was engaged to champion horse jumper Ellen Whitaker before jumping into the arms of Gina Carano. And after he crossed paths with Kaley this spring, he quickly ditched Gina to pursue Kaley.
“That’s how Henry works… he gets invested in a girl but drops her when another stunning woman shows interest.”
Johnny’s concerns didn’t take long to hit home for Kaley. “He thought Henry was using her for publicity,” states the pal. “She’s looking for the real deal but keeps picking the wrong guy.”

Huh, it sounds like Johnny Galecki had Henry’s number from the beginning. And it sounds like Johnny was dead-right. Henry was looking for a quick hit of publicity, and he wanted to introduce himself more widely to American audiences who had just embraced him as Superman. And it didn’t work out because everybody was much too obvious about it. It was like a Tom Cruise date… everything was awkward, there were too many extra people hanging around, and no one’s buying it anyway. But you know what really strikes me as TRUTH here? The idea that Henry just jumps from girl to girl. Like, he’s kind of flaky. Is that who he really is now? He’s the flaky dude. Sounds about right.

OH, I probably wasn’t clear enough. I know it was all PR. I was making suggestions from a PR perspective and how they could salvage the situation. I thought the ending/pull-out was as bad, if not worse, than the fake, insta-relationship. I think it might need to be addressed, because it has made the rumors about Cavill stronger. It’s too bad because, once I got used to the idea, Kaley was a good choice for a beard because one could argue that she’s “on type” for him with her similarity to his ex fiance.

So a smoking hot actor well on his way to becoming a star (he did have the lead in Immortals, after all) scared her–this “local” woman–off? What the what? Reading that draws me to two possible conclusions: 1. He is straight up, toothpaste sandwich, Lohan-level crazy, because otherwise I don’t imagine that many women would run from him. 2. There is some exaggeration afoot here. Not blaming it on any of the sources, but it’s sort of like that game of telephone from when you’re a kid. One person sees/hears firsthand, but it changes a little every time it’s repeated.

Star magazine?? Not credible. Besides, maybe he is a ladies man. I mean, look at him!! He is getting a very bad rap here, for not doing much wrong at all. He is not a boring, vapid Ken doll like some people are saying. Those folks who think that should watch some interviews with him and also watch him in The Tudors. He is a great actor who has worked very hard for many years. He has only ever been spoken about by colleagues and fans who have met him as nothing but down to earth, humble and kind. No one knows for sure how long exactly he and Kaley were seeing each other, so to say they ended it so fast, is nothing but speculation. Plenty of people date for a month or even less and it fizzles out for whatever reason. Neither of them have made any official statements, only “close sources” have made statements. They could still be working it out for all we know, or they did split or whatever. It really is not as suspect as everyone wants to make it out to be. Amy Adams has even said that Henry is extremely genuine and has a lot of humility. She worked with him for months, I sure she knows better than whomever is writing stories for the sole purpose of defaming people and selling magazines. As for Kaley, I do not think she is to get any flack for this either. They both seem like normal nice people who dated for a bit and aren’t anymore. Why is it ALWAYS a PR stunt or even more old tired…the guy is gay. Meh.
Henry love, I will give you another chance…I’ll keep watching your movies so long as ‘this’ NEVER happens again. I forgive you, bye now.

To Kaley: When the media asks one of your friends how you’re handling the break-up of a relationship that lasted two weeks, the proper response is, “Pffft. Are you serious? Her manicure lasted longer than that. I think she’ll be fine.”
To Henry: If you don’t start acting like you’ve got a conscience, the Blue Fairy will never turn you into a real boy. You don’t want to be a wooden puppet forever, do you?
I still think Henry may be bi and just likes non-mini van friendly type of women and his PR team freaked. They then trotted out super safe Kaley.
This is what seoarates him from his fellow British actor Benedict Cumberbatch his rise to well deserved recognition stems from being an excellent actor and a gracious individual whereas Cavill is trying to hard with fake staged PR relationship with B starlets. Cavill image now is now downgraded because he’s a shallow opportunistic user.

HC and BC have both worked hard throughout their careers and have both managed to keep love lives fairly private. I don’t think HC’s initial interest in Kaley was PR driven but their PR people and Kaley’s vapid Twitter obsession got in the way of anything developing past a hookup. His privacy is important to him which is why he doesn’t Tweet, Facebook, Instagram –none of that sh*t.

Here’s HC’s comments on the whole thing from Comic Con today. Did he slam Kaley or make excuses or cryptic comments? No he didn’t. Pure class.
“Cavill walked the Warner Bros. DC party red carpet, and Zap2it had the chance to chat with him and ask how his life has changed since “Man of Steel” premiered. Unsurprisingly, he said the fact that his personal life is now a hot topic — he recently and briefly dated “The Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco — is something that has taken some getting used to.
“The private life is considerably reduced,” he says. “Everyone seems to know where I am, what I’m doing, and you know, it’s interesting, but it’s new and I’m just going to have to adapt to it.”
So how has he adapted? “You’ve just got to take it in stride and see how it goes,” Cavill says. “Nothing in life, no big change in life is easy, but you have to look for the positives in that change and that’s what I’m trying doing.”

when someone says “Henry was engaged to champion horse jumper Ellen Whitaker BEFORE JUMPING into the arms of Gina Carano” is trying to exagerate a situation! Officially Ellen and Henry broke up 5months before Carano’s relationship; but I think it was more because that Christmas and New Year Eve he was with his family, if you are happily engaged, you spend those special dates with your love, right? He even spent his birthday alone!
And the relationship with Gina, he was with her and her family in Christmas and NYears Eve and then he was with her in Puerto Rico when she was filming, so they really tried but sometimes it doesn’t work…
