A few months ago, Robert Pattinson was photographed by X17. It was no big deal… except that Rob was in his car and there was a “mystery woman” in the passenger seat. The rumor mill immediately decided that the mystery girl was Riley Keough. Months of speculation yielded little more than whispers of a brief but sexy affair, and then Riley basically let everyone know that she was maybe-probably back with her ex, Alex Pettyfer. My guess was that Riley was and is scared of roaming bands of Twihards looking to take down whomever sees the Sparkledong.
I bring up the Riley situation because we never really did get a hard confirmation of the identity of the mystery woman in the Sparklemobile. It’s totally possible it could have been some random lady. And now I’m wondering if Sparkles really has been seeing a girl on the downlow and it’s not anyone we know:
What broken heart? Robert Pattinson has confirmed that he’s moved on from Kristen Stewart after stepping out with his new girlfriend — a mystery brunette — at the birthday party of his pal, actress Shoshana Bush, on Saturday night.
The Twilight star, 27, held hands and snuck kisses with his latest love interest at the party which was held at the Los Angeles home of Allan Loeb, the film and television producer behind Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and Rock of Ages, an eyewitness reveals exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
The onlooker said: “Rob and the brunette turned up around midnight. They were cute together. At one point, he was talking to someone and she wandered over and grabbed his hand and pulled him to over to near the pool. Their hands were all over each other!”
Of Rob’s latest romantic interest, the source said: “She’s really sweet and girl next door vibe. Rob is actually really nice and humble. They’re a perfect match!”Other guests at the 25th birthday party — it was so extravagant, it even had its own liquor sponsor Maestro Dobel Tequila — included Revenge star Christa B. Allen and The Hunger Games star Leven Rambin, who also starred in All My Children from 2004 to 2008.
Pattinson split from Stewart, 23, in May — a move which followed the revelation of her tryst with married director Rupert Sanders.
If Radar can’t put a name to the face, then what hope do we have? If Rob really does have a “girlfriend” and he’s introducing her as such, then I’m sure we’ll know her name and her stats soon enough. My money is on “model” or “up-and-coming actress” but you never know. I could see Rob going for a up-and-coming screenwriter, or maybe a hairstylist or someone low-key like that. I can’t wait to find out!

I really hope this is true. I’d be surprised if it were anything serious right now, but I’d love to see Rob dating. He seems like a great guy and let’s face it, he won’t be short of offers. He’ll keep it on the DL for as long as possible tho. Especially if she isn’t famous. I’m excited to see him out with someone new!
I just have this feeling that his next girlfriend is going to be a model who speaks very little English and can also sing or something creative. It just seems to be how these things go. The actress was disloyal and crazy, so he’s going to take a model for a spin.
I kind of hope it won’t be the usual model route. I guess I have a soft spot for Sparkles; I think he’s a bit kooky, and has potential to surprise.

He’s a great guy. Kristen said her life was too easy and had this desire for it to be darker or whatever she said in an interview. Well, she got her wish. I think having a guy that adored you and a career white hot with Twilight having all those back-to-back movies made it that way. She will see in Hollyweird how hard it is to get a great guy that you just aren’t a knotch on his bedpost and/or who is faithful and how hit movies are hard to come by. But that’s life, learning from your mistakes.
Kristen said she wanted to be fked over. Why would she say something like that? That quote and the one “I’m a miserable cnt”. Both those quotes have come to bite her in the ass. I admit I was mad when she cheated on Rob and that made me realize I needed to stop reading about them. Their relationship wasn’t the fairy tale anymore. I’m so over the whole fandom. It’s so messed up.

I imagine she was not easy to get along with. Dark and moody all the time, looking for things to complain about, probably being a huge bitch to Rob in the process. But Rob loved her so he couldn’t let her go. That affair was a blessing in disguise. It made him realize that he needed to get away from her. Those interviews from that time period are very telling. She was in a very bad place. I just can’t imagine truly being friends with someone like that for a long time, let alone date. And I have a feeling that if Rob really is dating someone he will protect her, yes, but he won’t hide her for long.
I hope he really is dating someone and that he finds someone wonderful. But I get the feeling he’s the kind of guy that enjoys being a doormat.

I work in fashion and outside of the daily fandom it launched seriously well and not over saturated bc most people missed the daily teases. It’s going to do wonders for his career. I never got the impression he was seeking huge attention, so settling in with a not so famous partner and indie roles is probably a smart move for him. He deserves good/positive acclaimed career for here on out. He took the high road and most insecure men wouldn’t have let her off and taking some of the heat off her.

I can’t take this Radar article seriously. He’s been single for months so he is probably is open to seeing someone, but the chances that he is introducing someone around as his girlfriend are slim, imo. He is so paranoid about his privacy, I bet he won’t trust anyone for a long while.

Although I don’t believe the article. I wouldn’t e surprised that he seeing different women on the dl. The one thing I love about Rob is how discreet he is and when he does settle down I wouldn’t be surprised if he were to get serious with someone who is not an actress.
There was never any truth to the Kiley Keough rumors that some overly invested Pattinson stan started at the X-17 site that introduced their pap picture. Initially they didn’t know who the red haired woman was and only definitely ID’d her as Riley when the stan said it was her. Riley is still in Kristen Stewart’s close inner circle of friends. Plus both Riley and her spokesperson vehemently denied the rumors. Riley was also seen as far back as this year’s Coachella with her ex, Alex Pettyfer and they have been seen and papped together since then looking cozy again. The red haired woman in the truck was never identified. She could have been a friend or someone he casually dated following his break up from Kristen.
I’m not sure I buy this radar story. Firstly, they are one of the worst gossip sites that have in the past printed garbage that wasn’t true about lots of celebrities…not only Pattinson and Stewart.
Secondly, if this was a big, extravagant Hollywood type party with lots of Hollywood types as guests, why was there no other sightings or mentions about it? No pictures, no boasting on twitter or facebook of a Pattinson sighting especially one where he is introducing the woman he came with as his “girlfriend” and then proceeding to put on a PDA show for all the guests to see. That doesn’t sound like Pattinson at all.
Thirdly, he has been spotted lately out and about at concerts and his new hangout No Vacancy alot but never with any women, especially one who would classify as a girlfriend. When he has been papped leaving Chateau Marmont or one of the many concerts he’s attended since the brreak up, he’s usually been with a group of guys or close platonic female friends. He once said he has many close female friends and from what we’ve seen, it’s true…Katy Perry, Shannon Woodward, Michelle Rodriguez, Ellen Page, Sia, Florence Welch, Reese Witherspoon, to name a few.
It’s possible he might be seeing someone on the down low because he is such a private person and he does live in a gated community now, making it hard for the paps to keep tabs on him. I’m just having a hard time believing radar got the scoop and the fact there hasn’t been so much as a whisper of this very newsworthy PDA spectacle that supposedly took place this past weekend at a big Hollywood type party. How can that be? Not one person at the party whipped out their phone to take a pic or brag about it on social media? Not even a waiter, bartender, dj, hired photographer or the spokespersons of the tequilla brand that supposedly sponsored this party? Sorry, I have my doubts he was even there, let alone publicly snogging a woman he was introducing as his “new girlfriend” to all the party guests.

At mimi, he was very affectionate with kristen at at a party in cannes. Theirs video of him all over kristen and she kept pushing him away. I always believed it was kristen who wanted everything private, no pda, no talking about their relatioship. It will be interesting to see how both of them handle their future relatioships in the public.
The Riley rumor originated with a shipper who was desperate to have the girl be someone with a Kristen connection. Guess they wanted to reassure themselves that everything was just fine in Robsten land. Backfired big time, though.

I have to agree that since the party had an actual corporate sponsor, the fact that he was there probably would have been more publicized. And given the fact that this story came from Radar, he probably wasn’t even there.
It doesn’t come as a surprise to me that Rob is maybe dating around. It’ll be interesting to see what type of girl he settles down with next though. While I can see Rob with a ‘regular’ girl or someone who works behind the scenes, can you imagine how secure in herself she’d have to be? I’m not sure someone outside of the industry could really put up with him being away on set, hot female co-stars, rabid fans and press. I’m not saying Rob isn’t trust worthy, because he strikes me as being very loyal, but it would be incredibly difficult to deal with, if she isn’t famous herself IMO.
That girl is part of the chateau crowd that was around lilo when she lived in la. i Hope he isn’t dating her, she also isn’t that pretty. Both riley and kstew are much prettier.

I think Rob has potential to go the distance in movies outside of Twilight. I was pleasantly surprised to see how good he was in Water for Elephants. Reese was good, not great, but Rob really brought something on screen in that part. They didn’t have much chemistry, though.
Even though Reese is an Oscar award winning actress, I thought Rob was the better actor of the two in Water for Elephants. For starters, I think she was terribly miscast and she had no absolutely no chemistry with Pattinson. I heard a film critic say that it felt like she phoned in her performance in WFE. I agree. I think Rob’s performance was one of the best in WFE and its box office success was largely due to his involvement. True some of the box office success can be attributed to the book being a best seller but I feel Rob was perfectly cast for the role of Jacob and it was his name and great performance that drew people in to see it.

For me Cosmopolis is his best performance so far, followed by WfE.
I’m not so sure. He hit it big in Twilight almost solely on his looks. His acting chops are mediocre at best. I think he’s going to be another “whatever-happened-to” actor ten years down the line.
Fortunately for him, he made so much off Twilight he never has to work again if he doesn’t want to, so maybe he can devote himself to music which I understand is his real passion and which he’s said to be very talented at.
I think he is going to be a character actor and not a traditional leading man. He likes the oddball stuff, and it seems to suit his acting style. He is able to hold the screen well, so I think he has a solid career ahead.
He’s horribly wooden and inept which is why nobody’s checking for his career.

@Francie: I don’t think he’s that bad but his range seems pretty narrow and I don’t think he’s going to age well. Twilight was probably the high point of his career and it will be all downhill from there. Fortunately, he doesn’t have to depend on acting (or anything else) for a living any more.

When you said you didn’t think Rob would age well, did you mean looks-wise? I actually think he’s becoming more handsome as he gets older. He was such a pretty boy when he was younger…for instance when he was a teen in HP playing Cedric…what a strikingly beautiful face. But I love his new Dior Homme pictures and the ad even more. I think he’s getting sexier as he ages.

Another site has a photo of another mystery brunette, apparently Rob is working out with her and, gasp, drove her home from the gym. I am laughing because it may just be some random girl with no connection to him wondering why she is being photographed. There is no photograph of them together, or even in the same place, so again, chances are slim it’s his “new girlfriend”. Anything’s possible I guess 🙂

Another thing I noticed…the paps included two old pics of Rob driving in his Camry. Those are old pap pics from months ago when he was spotted driving away from Kristen’s home shortly after the split. Sneaky SOBs. LOL
Love him and one of the things I like most about him is that he doesn’t seem into the whole Hollywood scene. Wouldn’t be surprised if his new lady had nothing to do with acting or anything else in the industry.

Not by the Robsten fans. They’ve always been fine with Kristen’s co-stars or people she’s rumored to be hooking up with. But they flip out completely when any girl is near Rob. Nikki Reed, Emilie DeRavin, Ashley Greene, Sarah Roemer, Caitlin Cronenberg, Sarah Gadon…they still hate all of them, and for no real reason.
Sigh. Can you guys leave Sulky out of a Sparkles post in the comments for once? And I’m sure they will be vilified. Some people act like every negative tabloid story is the gospel, even ones in places like HL aka fanfiction.net. Ironic thing is Sulky and Sparkles are probably civil and have both moved on (mutual friends, and wasn’t his car papped at her house before she left for Europe a while ago?). But some of their fans indulge in these silly flame wars and provide a ridiculous amount of hits to tabloid stories about a six month old break up.
