Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston announced that they were separated last September and both have since moved on. A drug-free poised for comeback Whitney has been stepping out with celebrity sex tape star and significantly younger R & B singer Ray J while Bobby has been living with music executive Alicia Etheridge.
Etheridge is an old friend of Whitney’s, but the star cut ties with her when she moved in with her ex. People are saying that Bobby is ready to propose to Etheridge and that it won’t be long the troubled singer remarries:
Bobby is ready to propose to his live-in girlfriend, Alicia Etheridge. “He’s telling everyone that Alicia is his new ‘tender Roni’ and that she knows a good man when she sees one,” says a pal of Bobby’s. Alicia was a friend of Whitney’s for 12 years, but the pop star ended their friendship when Bobby moved in with her following their separation last September.
“Whitney believes that Alicia must have always wanted her man, and now she doesn’t trust her,” the insider explains. Bobby, 38, has been shopping for expensive rings because he plans to propose over Memorial Day weekend.

The article claims that Bobby wants to be married by the end of the year, according to an insider. Bobby’s people have denied that there’s an engagement in the works.
Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston are determined to have an amicable divorce. They say that they’re trying to remain friends for the sake of their daughter:
“We’re trying to work everything out so the divorce goes right – not like a Hollywood divorce. We’re friends.
“I’m really looking forward to her doing her thing, and me doing my thing. And that’s raising a child. It’s beautiful. Our child is beautiful.
“We just appreciate each other now that we know the direction that we both want to go.”
Their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, turned 14 in March.
