Here’s an Oscar flashback to last year when Bradley Cooper took Suki Waterhouse as his date. Or shall I say “second date.” BCoop’s mom was his first date. Suki wore Marchesa (thanks, Harvey Weinstein). Will Bradley bring Suki to the ceremony this year? I would guess yes, unless she’s busy with work. Suki did come to Bradley’s opening night on Broadway, but she spends a lot of time with her model buddies in London.
Back in September, BCoop gave a bizarre interview where he talked about his next goal, fatherhood. He’s always been career focused, but he turned 40 years old this month. Suki is 23, which could present difficulties. Star printed a story last month about how Bradley wants to get married soon. Suki wasn’t into it. The tabloid called it Bradley’s “birthday meltdown.” I doubt Bradley threw a tantrum over marriage and kids. Star doubled down this week with a follow-up about how “they just found out” a mini-Cooper is on the way:
Sources close to Bradley and Suki say that the 23-year-old beauty recently learned that she’s pregnant with their child — and Bradley, 40, couldn’t be happier. “He’s wanted to be a father for years — it was always so important to him, but it was never the right time or the right person,” said the insider. “Suki is perfect for him, and he couldn’t imagine going on this journey with anyone else.”
Despite their age difference, the insider says, she’s on the same page as Bradley when it comes to settling down and starting a family. “She’s been longing for stability inher life for awhile,” says the insider of Suki, who has complained about her “traveling Gypsy” lifestyle, confessing, “I’m desperate to have a home.” And she sees Bradley as the ideal father for her children. “She’s just as excited about the pregancy as he is.”

This feels like a very fake story. It couldn’t possibly be a plant for the Oscar campaign, right? BCoop has limits when it comes to using his personal life for publicity.

It’s Z-list gossip sites and fan chatter. Nothing concrete. Started because she wasn’t with him during the Oscar announcements and she’s been partying in London and LA the past few weeks. I personally don’t believe it. If she doesn’t attend the Oscars then maybe I’ll consider it.
The Burberry show at London Fashion Week is the day after the Oscars, so she might not be at the Oscars because of that.
I think they’ve broken up too. Honestly I’m surprised they lasted this long, their vibe was always very “off” to me.

My thoughts exactly! I don’t have anything against May-December relationships (in most cases, anyway), but this one has just always felt wrong. Maybe if she looked more mature and not like a young teenager (as in still a minor) it wouldn’t seem so skeevy. I don’t know….
She’s actually kind of mature looking to me. Sometimes she looks 12 in the face, other times she looks like she’s someone who’s trying to cling to youth–it’s her styling. But she looks very bland to me. And I’m more creeped out by the fact that he was denying rumors that he and JLaw were getting it on (which I wouldn’t even mind, because they genuinely love each other, and there’d be more to it than the fact that she’s young with nice boobs, and he’s gaining/got some superstar momentum) by saying he could “literally be her father” and then goes to date someone YOUNGER than JLaw. What kind of shit is that?

In many pics on celebitchy she looks very young. She looks very young in fashion ads and when she does modeling.
But if you google pictures of her partying then she doesn’t look so very young but more like a party girl in her twenties.

The Star is strange..they run 99 ridiculous stories, then when you write them off, they actually break a real news story…this sounds like one of the 99 to me.
I always get the read off her that she’s not physically attracted to him and half the time she’s trying to force herself to be and the other half she’s just creeped out and distant but doesn’t want to blow her cover.

What’s extra weird about this ‘couple’ is that they were ‘announced’ about 2 weeks after Cooper responded to rumors about he and JLaw [after SLP movie], saying that ‘it’s creepy b/c I am old enough to be her father’. I remember he said something like ‘first of all, i’m too old for her’.
It was right before this PR with Suki was ‘presented’. I found the timing so funny-couldn’t they ahve found someone older again like w/ Renee Z?
Their body language is so off. Around when they first started dating, (I think?) I remember pap pictures from a park. They looked staged and the body language was so stiff and “fake casual” it made me cringe. Bradley was reading to her and she was sort of half-laying in his lap. It seemed obvious to me they knew they were being photographed and were trying to look “in love”. So bizarre and forced looking.
