I didn’t want to be accused of gullibility on April Fool’s Day, so I approached these FKA Twigs-Robert Pattinson engagement rumors with a great deal of skepticism. T-Pain got the ball rolling when Vulture published an interview in which T-Pain made reference to how Twigs is one of his favorite artists these days but she won’t appear on his new album because she’s ENGAGED. He said:
“…She’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing…Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that …”
Vulture added an update to the story later saying that T-Pain’s comment was an April Fool’s Joke. But! People Magazine had already jumped on the story and their sources say that Twigs & Patty are in fact engaged…?
Sorry, Twihards: Robert Pattinson is officially off the market. The actor and FKA twigs are engaged after just six months of dating, two sources tell PEOPLE. The couple’s reps are not commenting.

So, what’s the truth? I’m erring on the side of… the engagement is probably on. A month ago, we heard that Patty/Sparkles gave Twigs a “promise ring” which sounds more like an engagement ring. They’ve been loved up since last fall, so while this may seem fast, I think Rob is actually this romantic and spontaneous. He’s in love. He wants to marry her. And I would guess that he gave her a ring.

No, which is why the whole story sounded so made up. If there was any truth to the ring story, it was probably an engagement ring.
They both have very busy schedules for the next several months, so no wedding anytime soon I would guess (again, all assumption that they are really engaged). But if they make each other happy, it’s a wonderful thing. I think they are super cute together.

It was never a joke, T-Pain got caught saying something he wasn’t supposed to, and covered his tracks by claiming April Fools. He just got lucky with the day.

@Nicolette, there were pap pictures of Kristen like a year ago where the twihards claimed she was pregnant. I saw the pictures and to me, she looked normal.. She just probably had a burrito for lunch. Anyway they came up with this whole fantasy of her being impregnated with sparkles’ seed and the great lengths they were going to cover up their marriage and secret baby. Some people claim she already gave birth. The scariest part is that these people truly believe this and would defend their theory tooth and nail. Grown *ss women.
The funniest part of it was that Kristen looked to be in her first trimester the entire time, meaning she gained like ten pounds… and they just kept her pregnant, for like a year and a half! Like not a single one of them knew the gestational period of a human being. It was glorious!

I’ve always loved this pairing. Kristen always tries to act like she is edgy, but FKA twigs truly is edgy in her avant-garde trippy music. Her dance background (started out as a dancer) really is used in her performance art but I love her voice. They seem adorably in love.

Her shows are a combination of her music and her dance/performance. Her fans expect to see performance art at her shows. Only non-fans complain about her music being over shadowed.

They both are young and have plenty of time to get married. Maybe I’m a little old fashioned, but happened to the getting to know each other phase. They have known each other a good five minutes.
