Kim Kardashian and Kanye West covered the “Icons” issue of Harper’s Bazaar this year, so they were the people of honor at Bazaar’s Icons dinner/event during NYFW. These are some photos from the red carpet at the event. I get that Kanye has his own style and he usually looks pretty comfortable (I would wear almost everything he wears), but I get tired of seeing photos of Kim and Kanye on a red carpet where they look like they’re going to two different events. Kanye’s wearing Adidas track pants and Kim is wearing a slinky Givenchy. It’s not right.
As for Kim’s Givenchy… at first I was like, “we can’t even run these photos, she’s naked!” But she’s not. It’s just a really high-quality nude underlay that nearly matches her skin tone exactly. You’re seeing phantom biscuit. While I know Kim “loves” to dress up for Kanye, I don’t think she looks comfortable at all here. It’s the way she’s holding her shoulders. This dress doesn’t feel good or wearable.
At the event, Kim told People Mag how she got her post-baby body: “I really have changed the way I eat. The things I craved, I don’t crave anymore. Once you kick the sugar habit, everything changes.” She also said Kanye gave her many of the samples from his latest Yeezy collection, probably because – as Kanye told People – Kim is his Yeezy-muse. Then why didn’t she wear Yeezy to the gala?

Yes, but if you really want to gag, read the latest Vogue newsletter puff piece on how Kim has upped her game by wearing a see-through mesh body suit with a pair of pants (with athletic undertones, per Vogue) while out and about in New York. Are you kidding me???
I have seen the pictures of that get-up. She has spent most of this past week in New York showing her nipples.
Her newest face looks so much like Kris. Horrifying. I hope she doesn’t sit to close to open flames. That face will melt right off her head, a la Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The 2011 Kim K’s never coming back but her face is looking better than it has done for a while. There are times she looks off in a weird, bloated sort of way…the fillers or whatever must have settled.

I love the dress! Kim looks nice here and it would even do well on someone like Taylor (unlike her tragic sailormoon cosplay). But Kim’s face is so “sculpted”, it looks unreal.

How many times has kim redone her face? It’s naturally long, then she did some stuff that made it look not so long. Now she’s going back to more of her original face. Who does that? I mean I would love a perfect nose, which I will never have. So I can understand wanting to fix something. But to totally change your face, multiple times? Wtf. She’s addicted to plastic surgery.

On Kim’s lat birthday Celebitchy ran a picture of her ‘original’ face. (which is why I love this site) Had she left her face alone, she’d look so much better than she does now. And furthermore, I don’t care what ‘sugar’ habit she kicked, if the vast majority of her parts are fake or somehow enhanced, so I’m not buying this eating healthy changed my body stick. We all know when she wants a change she prances to the local plastic surgeon.
Despite all the surgery and lipo she just doesn’t have the body to carry off the styles she wants to wear. She could look good if she didn’t have to always make a statement and if Kanye wasn’t trying to style her.

This! I’ve been saying this forever. She looks good and her weight loss is noticeable. I think this is the best her body has looked in a long time. But…..she doesn’t have the body she thinks she does. Somehow when Kim looks in the mirror, she sees something like Elle McPhersons body type looking back at her. She insists on wearing clothes that are designed for a tall, lean, no curves body. I simply cannot understand why she won’t dress for her body. With her money she has access to any clothes or designers she chooses. She so badly needs a stylist. Someone who actually understands clothes and fashion. Someone not Kanye.

I though the same: compared to her tragic outfits of late, this looks almost OK. At least frontally. The design of the back is bad and her butt is really not fit for dresses like these.

The dress is not bad. I don’t like the hip area. I was trying to figure out what is wrong and to me it looks padded. Like she is wearing something underneath that makes it looks bulky in a way. And the design makes it look like that hip area is backwards somehow. Like a butt is in the front. I don’t know if I’m explaining it right. But her body looks good.
Regarding Kanye; he never compliments her look. NEVER. Most men try to look good next to their partner. He never does. He could have worn a suit and it would have looked good next to her dress. No issues w/ people getting work done but own it cause u don’t lose 70lbs apparently yet her boobs r perkier than a 18yr old, when u shrink ud ass doesn’t grow n lifts. A mom of 2 tweeting daily about her fave outfit,colors,styles etc…no time for her kids, brings nannies till its a photo op time. If she actually worked out several hours a day, she would tape it,sell it n find a way to make money. Embarrassing.

You’re right, she doesn’t look comfortable. That’s the problem. She never (rarely) looks comfortable in the things she wears. Plus, she lacks sex appeal, yet wears ‘sexy’ clothes. These two things make for a disconnect in terms of what she wears and how she ends up looking. And that makes her look like a fool.
