Apparently Modern Family’s Ariel Winter has herself a new man, actor Levi Meaden. They first raised eyebrows when they went to Cabo earlier this month but since they were with a group of friends, discussion about the nature of their relationship was just speculation. Ariel split with her ex, Laurent Claude Gaudette, earlier this year and began planting “hints” in the media that we were supposed to figure out. But we didn’t, because we kind of didn’t care. Although we don’t know how long they have known each other or been together romantically, we know the relationship has progressed to the point of celebrating the holidays together. Well, okay, they spent Friendsgiving together but that’s something, right? After ODing on typtophan and good friends, the couple skipped out for some shopping and art the next day, hitting up Rodeo Drive and the LA County Museum of Art.
Ariel Winter might be gearing up for cuddle season as she continues cozying up to actor Levi Meaden.
The Modern Family star, 18, and The 100 actor, were spotted holding hands after grabbing coffee in Los Angeles on Saturday. Winter sported a pair of ripped black jeans and a white long sleeve T, while Meaden wore a black-and-red checked shirt and jeans. The pair was seen holding coffee during the outing.
It appears that Winter and Meaden have been spending most of the holiday weekend together, as they were celebrating “Friendsgiving” in their pal Jack Griffo’s Instagram.
“Family dinner friendsgiving,” Griffo wrote in one post showing Winter and Meaden at a dinner table. “That’s my girl w/ her man.”
Neither Winter nor Meaden have confirmed their coupling, but their coffee run and Friendsgiving weren’t the only time they were spotted together..
You are likely much hipper than me but I had to look up what a Friendsgiving was. It’s a second Thanksgiving dinner/celebration with friends, traditionally the Wednesday before or the Friday after the actual holiday since that day is generally reserved for family. I genuinely dislike Thanksgiving as a holiday so to double it sounds like the spot they reserved for me in hell but I understand how this would appeal to people who enjoy the food part, “Hey, how about coming over an gorging on stuffing and gravy without your aunts arguing about why you got married?”
So what about the new guy? He hasn’t registered enough for his own Wiki page yet but his IMDb is impressive in that he has worked steadily since 2009. He was on The 100, The Killing, Olympus and Aftermath and is currently filming Pacific Rim: Maelstrom. I cannot get an age on him. The closest I got was this link that says he’s 29. I have no idea if that source is accurate but hmm – Ariel is 18. Generally I don’t mind age gaps but they do bug me when the person is under 21. I know that’s a double standard for a person who is legally an adult but there it is. Whereas I am surprised that this romance was enough to call the attention of the paparazzi *cough* I do approve of the LACMA date in the rain (weather is news in California) and the fact that Ariel wore a flattering outfit.

She has been through a lot with her family etc., that probably matured her in some respects. Maybe an age difference makes more sense in that situation.

I think she should cover up more often. It’s not about an outfit being trashy, no judgment there. She just looks better when she doesn’t try too hard to be sexy. She has a round baby face. I have the same issue. We don’t do “sexy” well. She needs to find a look that works.
Don’t watch her show, so only know of her from what I see in the media. She seems like she thrives on constant attention for no apparent reason. Is there a reason she is like that, or is she just super parched?

Actually I don’t remember her being so papped until she revealed her breast reduction surgery about a year ago. Before that she seemed like a normal teenager. All of the sudden she was barely wearing clothes and posting half naked photos on the internet.

I can’t believe he’s older than I am – I thought he had to be about 22. He looks young. They look happy though – and that’s good. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that she’s even 18 though. Girl has such a baby face – I think that’s why people freak when she dresses certain ways – it’s not fair really, but when you first see her, you have a hard time wrapping your head around the fact that she’s an adult.

He could also be an immature 29-year-old if he’s with a 18-year-old. With her being 18, she could just as easily be looking for a fling (as opposed to looking for some soulmate to start a family with) too. He definitely doesn’t look 29 though. At the oldest I would have guessed he was 23.
