Oh, to be a Twihard in this day and age. The chaos, the hormones, the angst, the brace-face. Not knowing which end is up – or if you’ve even picked the right side in The Epic Battle Royale of Vampire Supremacy. So imagine you’re a Twihard… you’re crying because you’re imagining Edward walking towards you, brooding, pale, lovely, with chocolate. You’re a Twihard, and you keep reading report after report about how Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson might have something going on, and yet Kristen still has her old boyfriend Michael Angarano. What do you feel? Rage? Lust? Respect? Stabby? Well, many Twihards are answering with a resounding “stabby”. According to the National Enquirer, Twihards are sending Kristen lots and lots of hate mail because she won’t just dump her boyfriend and run off into the sunset with Pattz:
Kristen Stewart is being bombarded by hate mail – accusing her of two-timing hunky co-star Robert Pattinson. [She’s] under attack “from girls who don’t think she’s treating Rob fairly because she’s dating Michael Angarano,” an insider told The Enquirer.
“The fans love Rob, and they love the idea of Kristen and Rob romancing off-screen. But they don’t like the idea that she might be hurting their favorite young actor by stringing him along while she also is still dating Michael.”
Angry fans are sending Kristen letters at the studio, “accusing her of being heartless by dating both guys,” revealed the insider. But her pals insist she’s not with Rob.
“Kristen cares very much for Michael, but she also has a crush on Rob. And while Michael wishes Kristen would get over Rob, he isn’t ready to pull the plug on their relationship.”
“Michael knows that Kristen and Rob still have two more Twilight films to do together, so anything can happen between them. And while he hopes he ends up with her, he knows he might lose her to his rival.”
“Meanwhile, Kristen hates that fans are upset with her. She wants them to know she genuinely cares for both Rob and Michael – and doesn’t want to hurt either.”
“Kristen hopes fans will understand how she feels and stop sending her hate mail.”

I would pay real, actual money to read some of that hate mail. In lieu of actually reading it, I’m going to write some of my own – think of it as a dramatic reenactment of Twihard fan fiction turned crazy. How about this: “Bella you should stop being so cold, you hateful mean spiteful bad woman! Hook up with Edward and tell me how it was!!” Or this: “My mom says you should not be such a floozy, kissing two boys at once, choose your side, PATTZ HATER.” My final dramatic reenactment: “K- you suck as Bella, and now you suck at being a girl. Your boyfriend is ugly, and you suck. Pattz is too good for you, so I hope you never break up with your dumb, ugly, sucky boyfriend, LAMER. If you ever see Pattz you should LITERALLY kiss the ground he walks on. The fact that you haven’t just shows how DUMB you are!!!!” Oh, Twihards. Ten bucks says I totally nailed it.

She doesn’t seem like the type of girl who would care what the fans think of her dating habits. She has been pretty outspoken in the past about how crazy being in Twilight is because of the number of fans, and she’s also dissed the movie quality on a few occasions. I doubt she gives a flip if some obsessive fans are mad about her personal life.

i dnt get how she feels because 1st of all she has a boyfriend and second rob is single.so they both like eachother but the only problem is that she has a boyfriend.now if she doesnt want to be with rob then why does she get mad when he kisses emilie?she needs to tell either rob or michael who she wants to be with and not get jealous over on-screen kisses.if kristen doesnt choose soon then rob might move-on to emilie and judging by how she didnt like the kiss she wont be happy if they become a couple.its kinda like she wants what she cant have because she likes rob but she cant get with him cause she still feels for michael and if that happens then she needs to get over rob and let him move on.

Twihards are insane. People who aren’t completely insane probably cannot even begin to imagine the ideas they come up with. (I base this opinion on twihard hate mail some gossip columnists have posted that they’ve received… it’s hilarious stuff.)

lola – not everyone is a twihard. Joan Jett made some serious contributions to music in her day, with The Runaways, The Blackhearts and solo. She is one of only two women listed on Rolling Stone magazines “Greatest Guitarists of all time” list. She was also a producer and actress, but I think she is primarily important for her contributions as a role model. She is practically the godmother of the Riot Grrrl movement, any modern iteration of girl power, and punk rock in general. I am interested, and I am not the only one; Joan Jett at the very least deserves your respect.

A bit off topic, but I can’t wait to see Kristin & Dakota in this music movie. I think Kristin look great in her Joan Jett clothing and Dakota looked great as well in her denim pants suit. Should be a fun movie.

Rob’s an even bigger star. Without knowing ANYTHING else about the situation, the odds of her choosing to stay with Michael instead of being with Rob were slim to none. That’s how it works in Hollywood.
ADORE Joan Jett! She’s always been a role model. I used to do my hair like hers in the 80s and was chased by some fans at Six Flags one day because she was playing that day. Rabid fans they were.

Frig, this whole Kristen, Michael and Rob saga is bloody annoying. She’s been dating her boyfriend for some riduculous amount of time, like 3 or so years, if she wasn’t happy with him she would have dumped him long ago.
In reality, there is probably nothing going on between Rob and Kristen, they are most likely just good friends now because they are filming the twilight series together. And lets face it, if they didn’t get along off-screen you would probably be able to see it on-screen, so it’s better that they have some chemistry going on between them, even if it is only between friends.
Look at her though, I really doubt she gives a flying whazoo what ‘fans’ think is going on between them. It is her life after all. Just because we all watched some movie that they acted in doesn’t give anyone the right to butt in to their personal lives.
I think these ‘twihards’ need a BIG reality check, just because these actors play the characters we see on screen, doesn’t mean they are actually anything like those characters. SO WHAT if “Edward and Bella” are meant to be together, “Rob and Kristen” probably aren’t. They were just two random people who were chosen to act along side one another because they had chemistry on-screen. Doesn’t mean there is enough chemistry there to maintain a relationship.
My advice to all the Twihards out there: Go get a life your own, that way you won’t be so obsessed with the lives of two people who play FICTIONAL characters. Bloody idiots.

Like other people said, that is all so normal. It’s the older fanatics that creep me out – I read some comment from a woman having a sticky sounding keyboard-gasm over some rpatz pics, saying she was hyperventilating etc etc .. and she was freaking that her husband would come home in the middle of it. Until then she sounded like she was about 11! That made me make that half amused, half confused, half pitying face (my face was 50% more emotive than standard in those few seconds).
Can’t wait to see the Joan Jett movie! And, uh Joan Jett looks great, but it would be creepy to see a 50 year old trying to play a 20 year old, even a younger version of herself. Sounds like something Madonna would do, not a woman like Joan.
