After playing the guessing game all Thursday about Jude Law’s very mysterious 7-months-pregnant baby-mama, we were left with very few options. Most of the high-profile women he was connected to last year and even this year aren’t currently pregnant. Star Magazine seemed to have a pretty good theory – that the alleged baby-mama was a 27-year-old makeup artist named Kayleen McAdams, the younger sister of actress Rachel McAdams. That rumor was denied hours later by Jude’s spokesperson, speaking to Life & Style (more on that later), and by Kayleen herself, whose rep told Star Magazine, “This is completely FALSE…She has never even met him.”

Then late Thursday evening, TMZ ran with the story that Jude Law’s mystery baby-mama is an “actress and model” named Samantha Burke. After about an hour, Samantha’s attorney confirmed TMZ’s story, and gave them a statement: “”Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall. Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy.”

TMZ has a picture of her too – she’s very pretty, and very pregnant. TMZ claims Samantha has an online registry at Babies ‘R’ Us, and that her due date is October 6th. The final piece of info from TMZ, who at this point might have a camera in this poor’s woman’s cooter, is that Samantha is expecting a girl that she will name Sophia. Probably after the character on Golden Girls, at least that’s my assumption.

Since we’re exposing secrets, let’s see if I can find any addition information about Samantha. There’s a woman by the same name on “Model Mayhem” – it could be the same girl, the cheekbones look the same, but it’s a difficult call. If it’s the same woman, she’s 24 years old and she originally hails from Pensacola, Florida. What else? A couple of other people named Samantha or Sam Burke, but I don’t think they’re the same person. There are a few people on here I know for sure Jude Law wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole. You never know though… sometimes I wonder if Jude really cares about who he’s bangin’.

As I mentioned before, Jude Law’s spokesperson denied the Kayleen McAdams story to Life & Style. In their report, they claim that Jude and the baby mama hooked up “for about a week” while he was in New York shooting Sherlock Holmes. They also say that Jude got the DNA proof that the baby is his (“Billie Jean” is playing in my mind):

Life & Style can report exclusively that Jude Law knows he’s the father of his unborn child without a doubt: he insisted on a DNA test! “Jude and the mother of the child had a DNA test done to prove that Jude was without a doubt the father,” an insider tells Life & Style.

The woman, who remains unidentified, met Jude while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City in January. “It was nothing serious, but the two hooked up for about a week while he was in the city,” the insider says.

“After he left, she found out she was pregnant. She tried to reach him, but the cell phone number she had for him was a temporary number that he only used in New York while filming,” the insider continues. “Her only way of contacting him was through Jude’s team. She didn’t want to go to his lawyer because she was afraid that then Jude would think she was only after his money. And that’s not the case at all!”

Jude’s people took the call seriously and put Jude in touch with the woman. “That’s when they got the DNA test done, to make sure that it really was Jude’s baby.”

As for the future, it looks like Jude and the woman are focusing on the baby and not their relationship. “The two of them are by no means together, but Jude isn’t being a jerk about being a father. He’s willing to take responsibility for his baby. And she’s definitely keeping it. She’s probably about seven months along right now.”

And Life & Style can confirm that, despite Internet rumors, Kayleen McAdams, the make-up artist sister of actress Rachel McAdams, is not the mother.

Jude’s rep, Simon Halls, who said he did not know if a DNA test was done, tells Life & Style, “I can emphatically deny she [Kayleen] is the mother.”

Well, I’m sure Kayleen and Rachel McAdams are thrilled that they aren’t going to be biologically connected to Jude Law. As far as the other stuff goes… well… no comment. I really want to like Jude, but he always messes up. I think he has a self-destructive streak. To be fair to him, though, he always takes responsibility when he screws up, like when he banged the nanny, or when he impregnates a woman after one week of “hooking up”. Oh, well. No sympathy for Jude, just a simple, inelegant “Damn it, bro!”
