A couple of weeks ago, Courtney Love made the mind-boggling claim on her Facebook page that Britney Spears’ father molested her and now enslaves her through his conservatorship. Courtney did stop letting her crazy out in brief spurts through Twitter, but she’s still clinging to Facebook and whenever she makes a little sense she seems to be saying something libelous:
britneys dad molested her , imagine the father that molested you owning you for slavery while your forced to sing songs picked for thier sexual content every night, insane right? i have it on First had authority, and fight as hard as she is and does she still didnt pull that card, its a pride thing i can relate to, However they want to play dirty, lets go, Im SO not affraid of the little trolls who hit this when i was f-cked up who are called lawyers. lets GO.

Britney’s people have refused to take Courtney’s slurred bait. Her spokesperson Louise Taylor issued a response to The Daily News that amounts to “whatever.” “We’re not commenting on Courtney Love, or any aliens who might come to Earth to impregnate people.” The News reports that there’s a report coming out in a British tabloid from “a female member of the Spears family who contends she can back up Love’s allegation.” Given all the relatives Britney has, some of whom have been willing to talk to the press on the record, I’m sure there’s a second cousin somewhere willing to lie for some cash.
Meanwhile TMZ reports that Britney might be released from her father’s conservatorship. There are meetings going on to help negotiate the eventual end of the conservatorship now that she’s finished her tour. TMZ thinks it is likely to take a while, and notes that Britney is under both a professional and personal conservatorship. While a court-appointed psychiatrist could possibly recommend that Britney’s personal conservatorship be lifted, her business affairs are likely to still be controlled by her father. That’s probably a good idea considering that she was buying a luxury car a month under Sam Lutfi’s influence. Given how much Britney is being charged in legal fees, I would expect that it will be a few weeks before the personal conservatorship is lifted. Her money-grubbing lawyers are probably going to drag their feet over this one.

Hmmmm….not taking the crackhead’s bait? I ain’t even gonna try and pretend to know anything, but that’s kind of weird considering what a raging pitbull her dad was to anybody ELSE who he considered a “threat” to his daughter…. is this possibly a ploy to APPEAR to be taking the high road, but maybe not what’s really going on? Just seems weird he would let that VERY strong accusation go with “whatever” type response….just sayin’…..
LOL I didn’t understand any of her accusations. Love is such a sad story.

Hard to take her seriously when you can’t understand what the hell she is talking about most of the time.

Love’s brain has been fried for years, and her inane mutterings are worth only a sneer.
Sounds like precautions are being taken with lifting Britney’s personal conservatorship. Perhaps they can easily return to the conservatorship if there are minor signs that she is having problems in the future, but I hope she will be able to manage on her own.
Her Father is an alcoholic, sober now but a drunkard when she was little. Alcoholics do terrible things and incest may have been one of them. It might be true – I certainly hope not.
How is her daughter doing and who is her guardian ?

The way I read this, clearly her PR person is saying Britney has been impregnated by Courtney Love’s alien spawn.
@BiggieShortie, nobody take Love seriously. if she had come out and said something like that about me i would probably make a response along the lines of “grow up” or something. At this point it’s pointless to respond to courtney, she’s delusional and will continue to spout off whatever the hell she wants.

Even if Courtney Love sincerely believed this were true, does she really think the best and most compassionate response would be make snotty references to it on Twitter? Is that how she thinks victims of incest and molestation are best handled? What a douche.

i just opened this link not because i give what courtney love has to say any value, but just to say those glasses brit’s wearing are not trendy. I don’t care what stylist gave them to her so they could be pictured, but those glasses don’t do anyone justice and i am embarressed for her to be wearing them.
Those glasses are not retro, cute, trendy, or new. They are just bad fashion choices.
let the sheep try to bring those frames into the spotlight because some stylist is trying to pay her bills.

Not really; that’s a more recent approximation but her band Hole was genuinly very good, critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Especially “Live Through This” – if you’re interested youtube the song “Violet” as an example of a killer song from that album. Her solo stuff is not very interesting. She did once have a career outside of being Cobain’s widdow and weird internet rants :o)
The first sentence in this story made me laugh harder than I have in a long time…..
I don’t think Britney is ready to be on her own based on the fact that she appears vacant and doesn’t do any interviews or talk at all without some handlers telling her what to say and do. I takes years for someone to get over a nervous breakdown like she had, from a medical perspective and meds and a psychiatrist and her dad is not going to fix it in a year. For Britney to be the happy, smiling young woman that she once was will take years, thats if she is ever able to recover completely. I know people who are bipolar and it is a very serious disease with disasterous life altering consequences. Her father probably keeps her doped up since about a year ago she was still communicating with both Sam and Adnan, which is kind of scary that she still wanted to do that.
I now just want to get a pair of those glasses.
