Jennifer Garner campaigned with Gwen Walz in Nevada

There are 15 days until Election Day, and we’re currently in the “All Hands On Deck” era. On this week’s SNL, host Michael Keaton and musical guest Billie Eilish, who have both endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, wore shirts that said “Vote.” On Sunday, Julia Louis-Dreyfus released a video telling the government to “get out of my f-cking snatch.” Last Friday, Christine Baranski knocked on doors in Wilkes-Barre, PA to help get out the vote. I would f-cking DIE if Christine Baranski showed up at my door. I love her. I live in the great swing state of North Carolina. How come I’ve never gotten Evan Rachel Wood or Michael C. Hall or James Taylor (my first-ever concert!) showing up at my door?!

Anyway, Jennifer Garner is one of those celebrities who puts her money where her mouth is and shows up for Democrats. She testified in Congress back in 2017 for Save the Children, which she’s worked with for 15 years. In 2016, she campaigned for Hillary Clinton. This election cycle, Jen has campaigned in both Lancaster, PA and Phoenix, AZ to help GOTV. Over the weekend, she leveled-up and went to the “Fighting for Reproductive Freedom” bus tour stop with Gwen Walz, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, and Sen. Jacky Rosen in Reno, NV.

Nevada’s Democratic Sens. Jacky Rosen and Catherine Cortez Masto, actress Jennifer Garner and Gwen Walz spoke to a small crowd gathered for a “Fighting for Reproductive Freedom” national bus tour that stopped in Reno on Saturday. More than 200 people attended the event at Wild River Grille.

Walz, who is married to vice presidential candidate Tim Walz, talked about her struggles with fertility. She has been campaigning across the country with the message that birth control, abortions and access to IVF could be restricted in a Republican administration.

She encouraged attendees to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband.

“When we send them to the White House, they’ll defend reproductive freedom — not destroy it. They’ll make sure that people — not politicians — control their own bodies and their own lives,” Walz said.

Jen and Gwen did an adorable video together, too! They both posted it to their Instagram, urging people to go out and vote:

Love them together! I also love that Jen consistently shows up for Democrats, and it isn’t just a once every four years kinda thing so she can get her picture taken. I also think it’s wonderful that her oldest child, Violet Affleck, seems to be following in her footsteps. This was an important event to support, too. Speaking as someone who grew up in a Republican household and (secretly) voted for Obama in 2008 because his vibes won me over, I never looked back. Republicans really did f-ck up with Dobbs. I also think VP Harris has done a fantastic job campaigning so far, and I especially appreciate the team running her social media accounts. They are killing it.

We have two weeks to go and early voting has begun in most states. Every single race on the ballot counts, so if you need any help deciding who to vote for, Vote Save America has a good tool to help you figure out which candidates share your values. If you live in a swing or red state, you should also check your registration status. So many states that are run by Republicans have been purging voter rolls to help suppress the vote, but every state has a .gov website that lets voters check their status. Please check your status in advance. It always helps to be prepared.

I think it was Jen who got Meghan to read to Archie in a Safe the Children Video, for his first birthday. I’m not surprise she’s doing this at all.

she came to my volunteer headquarters in PA and treated everyone so kindly like we were rock stars she was getting to meet.

    Jen & Gwen. Cute!

It’s good to see so many people out and about and I do hope they can make a difference.

It’s also good to have the outspoken Walzes on the ticket at *this* particular election, because they are people who would have been affected by Roe, or an IVF ban.

    Roevember can’t come soon enough.

Fifteen days! Im getting nervous as heck. Anyway you should see the MAGA meltdown in Jen’s instagram! These people honestly thought she was for trump? Guess because she’s originally from West Virginia where it’s100% red.

Oh, yikes, that’s funny. I am nervous as all get out, too. Glad to see so many people doing what they can to get Harris to the White House and keep Trump out. I have been making calls to swing states since August and it helps with the anxiety. A little bit.

Jen is mostly quiet about her political beliefs but she puts her time and money where her mouth is. I do think her parents (well now only her mom) are conservative though. But people thought she was MAGA after doing that movie Peppermint but tbh I think Jen doesn’t pick great movies to be in
