Nicole Kidman wore Balenciaga to the British GQ MOTY event: stunning?

Nicole Kidman was honored by British GQ in their annual “Men of the Year” awards. Obviously, they’re not calling Nicole a dude, they’re just saying that she’s their woman of the year. Nicole has had another great year – Netflix’s Perfect Couple was a huge success, and she also did A Family Affair with Netflix this year. Expats aired this year, and she’s also got Babygirl coming out on Christmas day. Babygirl could be an awards-contender for Nicole. I will have coverage of Nicole’s British GQ interview later in the week!

In the meantime, I wanted to talk about these photos from the MOTY event in London last night. Nicole wore a red Balenciaga dress which is honestly one of the best looks I’ve seen on her in months. I know people say that redheads should avoid red, but Nicole looks great. From the front, it’s a sleek turtleneck dress, but the back is a “ribboned corset.” So good, and so appropriate for Babygirl.

This was also charming – Nicole being interviewed by Amelia Dimoldenberg, who is turning into one of the greatest red-carpet interviewers of the modern age. Asking Nicole about chicken nuggets is amazing.

The latest Babygirl trailer came out yesterday. I’m kind of obsessed.

Red does look lovely on her but this is just okay. I’ve seen her in gowns I like better.

She looks fabulous in the figure hugging red. I just wish she could move her face!

BABYGIRL looks soooo good!!! ANORA was great, highly recommend if you like indie films. A REAL PAIN looks good too. So much good stuff coming out right now.

Killed. Magnificent. Also I feel like she’s an absolute onion and has alot more layers to her. The stories she could tell.

  5. Texas Hold'em says:

She’s not a redhead in these pictures; she’s blonde. Or is it the pale skin that makes ‘redheads’ supposed to avoid this bright red?
