Back in January, Us Weekly ran a hilarious “exclusive report” about how Jessica Simpson farted (loudly) during a business meeting, and her mom yelled at her for it. The whole thing was kind of unconfirmed, and it made me feel for Jessica. I mean, even if it was true, so what? The girl’s a farter. She smelt it and dealt it.
But now I’m beginning to wonder if Jessica might be one of the grosser women in Hollywood. She admitted to a radio show yesterday that she doesn’t brush her teeth. She claimed: “I just use Listerine — and sometimes I’ll use my sweater. I do brush every now and again, but my teeth are extremely powerful. Wonder how Jessica Simpson maintains her million-dollar smile?
So does she. “I don’t brush my teeth,” she told iheartradio Thursday. “No, really!”
“I just use Listerine — and sometimes I’ll use my sweater,” she claimed, bursting into laughter.
“I do brush every now and again, but my teeth are extremely powerful. Fine, maybe when I’m 60 I’ll all, “ow!”
The singer adds that she loves “anything fried,” and that her nutrition habits weren’t always the best. “Growing up in Texas for me, fish was a fish stick. We weren’t really the healthiest of people. [My mom] didn’t force me to eat healthy.”
Simpson, 29, opened up yet again about her ex John Mayer’s raunchy comments regarding their sex life. “Maybe in his mind he was thinking about giving me a compliment but he wasn’t,” she quipped.
“In relationships, in general, going through a divorce and going through very public break-ups … you don’t want to disappoint people who are rooting for you to be successful in love. I just have to find the right man.”

Ugh, I just find this disgusting. I’m not one of those obsessive teeth people, but I brush after every meal and I floss regularly, just because I feel better about my teeth when I do. I don’t understand how Jessica’s teeth haven’t fallen out? Are they fake? You know, veneers or capped or whatever? Well, if they aren’t, they soon will be.

Ewwwww, maybe by sexual napalm Mayer really meant her breath obliterated him during sex. For someone who wants to find the right man, she shouldn’t broadcast this info on radio. Dumb as a sack of hammers.
In my opinion, this admission is far worse than anything John Mayer could have said. This is beyond gross. She is beyond gross. In fact, if I were him, or anyone who has ever dated her, I’d not want to admit ever swapping spit with her. Ewww.
Look, everyone farts. It’s life. Anyone who says they don’t is lying. So for her mom to yell at her tells me what a dumbass she is.
But not brushing your teeth is foul. Her breath must be like a sewer, even with Listerine.

The fact that she mentions that she farts and burps and now does not brush her teeth is just repulsive. (Or according to her every now and then)

i don’t care that she admits to farting and burping. I’m not saying I want to be around her when she farts, but everyone does it whether they admit it or not.
The teeth brushing thing is just gross. I’m not sure if she understands how detrimental to her health not brushing or flossing is. Brushing and flossing eliminates harmful bacteria, and people with periodontal disease are almost twice as likely to have coronary artery disease. Unless girlfriend wants to lose her teeth an have a heart attack, she might want to rethink the whole not brushing thing.
Ewwwww! And again, she has proven not only that she’s gross but dumb as a rock as well. Her teeth are extremely powerful? What, do they fight back and try to fend off the toothbrush when it approaches?
If I were a guy fantasizing about Jessica, right now I would be grossed out to the max and also scared as hell. Trust me, even if you like dumb blondes, you don’t want any with powerful teeth anywhere near your nether regions. There go another bunch of fans Jess!
I worked with a kid who said that his dentist recommended that he not brush every day.
His dentist told him to use mouthwash and then if he wanted, he could run his toothbrush over his teeth without using toothpaste.
I guess some dentists think that brushing is bad for the enamel? I don’t know. Yeah it sounds gross but at least she’s using mouthwash. It’s not like she never cleans her mouth.
Mouthwash does not do anything, all it does it mask the smell of foul breath if you do not brush your teeth.
That is why you have to brush your teeth twice a day.
There is a REASON why dentists recommend brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing as well as using mouthwash.
Her dress looks itchy. Why does she advertise this suff? Especially if she wants a byfriend? TMI queen.

I wouldn’t be able to stand the feeling of not brushing my teeth. Once I start feeling stuff on my teeth I gotta brush. I love her but I surely wouldn’t have admitted that to the public.
I suspect she will be singing a different tune after her first root canal. I had my first one at 19 and you better bet I cut out the candy, sodas, etc and kept a travel tooth brush and tooth paste in my purse from then on.

I brush right after breakfast. If I brush before, the toothpaste taste ruins the meal.

CB I am the same way. I can’t brush before breakfast, or too close to bedtime. It gives me horrible heartburn. But I do a rinse of ACT before bed. I can use the rinses without alcohol without upsetting my stomach.

Every time I feel some sympathy for Jess, she says something that just makes me want to kick her. Again, does she not have any real friends to help her grow up? Maybe her friends aren’t too bright either.

she is beautiful, but she has no class or mystique. Can you imagine Sophia Loren confessing all of this crap publicly? Either she thinks it is endearing or she is too dumb to know that she is dumb. My dentist told me any type of mouthwash with alcohol is actually bad for your teeth. The alcohol dries your mouth out. Remember, meth mouth comes from being dehydrated, not from the drug itself.
Anyhoo, shouting to the world that you don’t brush your teeth is almost as bad as actually Not. Brushing. Your. Teeth. Gross. Also, that pink dress is not a good look for her. Looks like she’s gaining weight, which is fine. But dress to flatter your body, not to look like a sausage stuffed into it’s casing.

personally I consider brushing after every single meal and flossing frequently to pretty much make you one of those “obsessive teeth people” twice a day is the norm.

Personally, I brush before bed too, I wear a little tooth clip to stop me grinding my teeth while I sleep, and I don’t seem to get unpleasant feelings or dragon breath.

I really hate brushing my teeth too but I do it. It is a huge chore and if I had as much money that she had for fake teeth/whitening/etc, then I’d hold off on brushing my teeth too.
KC you make an excellent point; This is truly a clever way to verbally spar with him and it kind of makes me like her that she admits to embarrassing but real things like farting and the reality of it is that alot of people, forwhatever reason,don’t brush their teeth.
People go through phases. That said, abcess teeth are excruciatingly painful. I ate lots and lots of candy as a kid and didn’t brush my teeth alot. My mouth is full of plastic, gold and porcelain teeth and I was lucky to have a job with good dental coverage. Perhaps Jessica has porcelain teeth?
Has anyone else had their teeth become worse after seeing a dentist? I went to fill in a couple of small cavities and ended up with absess teeth at the same time in both of those teeth. My husband got a fluoride treatment and his tooth cracked.

Thsi girl can sell anything to you & she makes millions doing it. lol Take a look at her teeth which she shows off all the time. There not false teeth they are very real then take a look at her gums. There are enough close up pics out there where you can see she does not have build up placque on them & her gums are in great shape which means they are also well looked after. I actually know Jessica and she basically says what is on her mind without editing. I have tried to tell her that she should regularly brush but she can be real lazy. Yes,she rips loud farts and thinks they are funny(so do I but there is a time and place for this- not business meetings)I am glad she hasn’t publically brought up the fact that she likes to sniff her own farts and that she can queef on purpose (she is quite talented at this by the way) Hopefully after all this press about her dental hygiene she will learn that some things are better left unsaid.
