Oh, Lord. This just proves that Lindsay Lohan really has no style to speak of. So why do people hire her to design clothes, leggings, nipple pasties, et cetera? This is the kind of outfit she thinks is cute. Now, I’ve worn those knee-high sheer socks before – they’re perfect under dressy slacks. But they are not perfect for a casual outing, when paired with old-man loafers and shorts. It’s like Lindsay is now so “old” she’s dressing like she lives in a Florida retirement community. Everything from the neck down looks like someone you would call “Uncle Morty”. Everything from the neck up is what you would call “Flo, the 45-year-old hooker”. Oh, look at this one:
It’s not that she’s fat – she’s not. It’s just that her ridiculous outfits accentuate the current weirdness of her cracked-out body. Anyway, Lindsay had a really horrible time last week, keeping us on a steady diet of Lohan insanity. Perhaps we should have known it was going to be a bad week when we saw Ali’s eyebrows of doom. But we definitely got the message when Lindsay posed with a gun and rolled around on the floor, covered in blood, all for photographer Tyler Shields. And then came the news that Lindsay might be headed to jail, all because of a technicality and her judge’s whim. Now TMZ is reporting that Lindsay’s dad Michael is hellbent on creating a conservatorship for his crackhead daughter. As Gawker quipped, “so she may be conserved—like so many natural resources—for future generations.” Here’s more:
TMZ has learned Michael Lohan will be back in L.A. Monday … and he’s telling people he’ll start the legal ball rolling to create a conservatorship for Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay is in NYC but refuses to see MIchael … and daddy Lohan says it’s now time.
As for a possible conservatorship, Lohan is telling people he’d gladly serve as the conservator but is open to someone else assuming that role.
Michael Lohan also says he does not want his daughter to go to jail. As TMZ first reported, Lohan is on the fast track for a jail cell because she has squarely violated the terms of her probation. A court day of May 20 looms for Lindsay.
Michael wants Lindsay in rehab but not a traditional, group facility. He wants to go the Brooke Mueller route — a private home with lots of doctors. What Michael isn’t factoring in — that type of rehab is bocu expensive and Lindsay is broke.

Yeah, if Michael really gave a sh-t, I think he would want Lindsay to go to jail. In that small, dark recess of my heart that actually has a small, itty-bitty smidgen of sympathy for Lindsay, I want her to go to jail, just because I think that’s the only thing that could conceivably get her clean. She won’t get clean if she’s sent away to rehab – it won’t work. And having her stay home with private doctors on call won’t work either.
By the way, is Lindsay missing a tooth?

At-home rehab usually doesn’t work. Lindsay needs to go straight from jail to court-ordered rehab in a lock-down facility. For a l-o-o-o-n-g time. And even then, it may not work for her. She’s been steeped in her mother’s special brew of denial for 23 years; and she seems just as committed to using whatever substance she comes into contact with as she is to trying to convince everyone she’s “fine!”
Michael only wants the conservatorship over Lindsay because he heard how much salary BritBrit’s father makes off keeping her under control. He doesn’t give a f-ck about Lindsay’s health. He wants cash. Although I guess he hasn’t heard the rumours about Blohan being broke. Pathetic and yet so hilarious.
she considers rehab “vacation time” and clearly doesnt take her problem seriously at all so, no, rehab wont work. hasnt she already been like 3 times? jail, if she went long enough (30 days ala paris hilton) is not going to cut it, might make her clean. or some sort of boot camp program that she is NOT allowed to leave for a set time period – a LONG time period – someplace she is forced to stay, that has no luxuries, no drugs, and nothing else to do but go through withdrawal, eat decent meals, sleep, no contact with outside world, work out, read, write, think, etc. and she should be kept fairly solitary otherwise she will find a way to create drama with others.
Michael is really jealous of the good press Jamie Spears gets along with his hefty income for looking after Britney.
Unlike Michael, Jamie does not sell interviews constantly. Has Jamie ever given an interview or spoken more than three words to a pap? Jamie and Lynne handled Britney’s problems as much in the background as possible without having to make public statements. Yes, Lynne wrote a book, but that was not a “trash Britney in public as much as possible” book.
Unlike Michael, Jamie had a real job before dropping everything to care for Britney.
Unlike Michael, Jamie does not have a felony record. Jamie was once an alcoholic, but he is past that problem.
Unlike Michael, Jamie’s daughter can afford to pay Jamie a large income, and part of her money was safely in a trust before her problems. Lindsay’s financial status is questionable, so she might not be able to afford the same income Jamie receives much less all of the legal bills involved.
Michael in charge of anything is scary.
As for Michael going for conservatorship, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Being an addict is NOT cause enough for a conservatorship. Period. As for Blohan going to jail or court ordered lockdown rehab will only put a band-aid on the problem. Jail would be temporary and only a few days or hours, if that. Lockdown rehab, even if for a good period of time would not solve the problem if SHE DOESN’T WANT TO STOP USING! The day she gets out of jail or rehab, its right back to her old habits. She looks exactly like the type to spite the court system, her father, and her nay sayers. Bottom line: if she doesn’t want to quit drugs/drinking or if she won’t acknowledge a problem, nothing will change!
Those old man hose would look good on her head in jail. I vote she goes to the pokey.
It’s funny how everybody keeps saying jail would get Lindsay clean but a lot news reports I have read or seen say drug abuse is a huge problem. I can imagine if Michael had a conservatorship he would be all over the tabloids detailing everything about Lindsay.

She needs help, it’s obvious to people who look from afar, but before anything can be done, she needs to admit and own up to her addictions and vices…on her own terms.
Addicts will always be addicts until they realize themselves that they can no longer continue on in life living that way. She has to hit rock bottom before she sees any consequences to her actions.
Dr Drew or any other celebrity talking about getting her help is only making the situation worse, she is stubborn, defensive and it makes her want to go and drink more just to see all these hypocritical celebrities judging her.

I hate Lindsay, but just on principle don’t want her to die. I’d say she does need some kind of guardian, but her father is a scuzz.

Missing tooth = meth? The rest of her teeth are looking a little methy too. I would know, my boyfriend had a brief meth phase when he was a teenager. He didn’t lose any teeth, but you can tell he was using for a while. It doesn’t take long for your teeth to start getting bad either.
I’m assuming that crack stopped being exciting so Lindsay added regular meth use to her repertoire within the last year. And she’s smoking it, hence the teeth.

Another difference is that Britney went haywire AFTER she made her massive fortune and established herself. So even when she was blowing millions on cars, houses, whatever – she still had a sizable fortune left in her bank accounts.
Lindsey was just starting out and I’m sure she’s blown whatever money she had a hotels, drugs, and clothes.
To a average person, Jamie may be getting a huge salary for taking care of Britney but I’m sure compared to her erratic days when she’d buy a car or house for fun, he’s actually saving herself from herself. If she continued on the path she was on, she would have spent every penny of it. So his salary is negligible when taking into consideration her previous spending habits.
On another note, this is the first time I’ve seen her double chin from the side angle without her hair in the way. Yuck. One would hope her significant change in appearance would motivate her to see that she’s not alright. Apparently not.
Send her to jail. And then to a lock down court mandated rehab. And if she doesn’t finish rehab she goes back to jail until she decides to finish rehab for real.
That is the only thing that is going to save her. Her parents certainly won’t.

Britney’s father receives monthly salary from her estate. Britney is worth more than 50 million dollars,she is very wealthy and has a job. I don’t know if Lindsay can be considered a wealthy woman currently. I don’t think money is Michael lohan’s motivation to get conservatorship, what if he genuinely wants to save his daughter’s life.

I have no sympathy for Lindsay, she has made her own life a mess and also her parents (who are in denial) are to blame . I´ve always thought that she just want´s to shock people with her arrogant manners.
But it seems that she has come into a state, where I think she has some serious mental problems. She doesn´t seem to take care of herself and she reminds me of Britney Spears before her breakdown. There is something crazy about her, like she has give up on life.
I feel so sorry for this girl. She used to be so pretty, so talented, and look at her now… I am really furious with her parents who enabled all of this. Ali is already on her way – it starts with plastic surgery at a very young age, continues with an eating disorder and next come the drugs. That seems to be the route à la Lohan. I can’t decide who’s worse, Dinah or Michael Lohan. They both seem completely worthless as parents.
Jail will get her clean? Either that, or she’ll make more drug contacts and get out early to boot.

The other difference to Britney is that imo it became clear that she *really* had a mental disorder. LiLo on the other hand … doesn’t. That doesn’t mean I don’t have sympathy for her, just it isn’t quite the same. Hard to put into words! One thing’s clear – that Daddy Lohan isn’t doing anyone any good unless it’s entirely cooincidental.

Lindsay does look awful. I don’t see why she would need a conservatorship though. And especially not one with her father at the helm, gawd no! I really don’t think that either jail or more rehab is going to straighten her out. RDJ cleaned up because he hit enough of a bottom and wanted to get clean. She has not gotten to that point yet. I shudder to think what it might take for her to leave her partying life behind her. She probably never will.

Lindsay needs regular people rehab. Her problem is that she thinks she’s special, different, above the law. In recovery they call that being “terminally unique”. She needs to go to a county assigned rehab to see where she’ll end up if she doesn’t get clean & sober. The toothless, homeless, selling their bodies for a hit type of folks. The ones who will never drive again b/c of multiple DUI’s. The ones who have lost their kids, their family, their friends & maybe even killed someone when they were high.
In recovery I’ve heard stories with much less mayhem than mine & ones that made me go “holy shit!”. But just b/c I never got a DUI doesn’t mean I never COULD get a DUI. Other people have done the research on how bad it can get & I stay sober so I don’t have to experience it for myself.
