I never thought I would say this, but I do genuinely feel badly for Kim Kardashian. If she really does naturally look the way she does without cosmetic assistance, it’s got to be annoying to constantly have to defend your body.

Kim’s written a post in her blog in response to a question she got about what plastic surgeries she’s had. She’s denied this before, but apparently that wasn’t enough for the questioner, and she had to go part by part over her body. Honestly this came across as bragging to me (ie “people always think I’ve had cosmetic surgery on this and this and that because they’re so great looking”) but she also includes a picture of herself at 14 that makes it all pretty believable.

I HAVE NOT EVER HAD PLASTIC SURGERY!!! I am definitely not against it at all, but haven’t yet had it! Personally, lip injections are the thing I would never do—even if I didn’t have full lips. I think lip injections look very fake and bad and I wouldn’t want to kiss anyone with stuff in their lips—so I wouldn’t do it to myself.

This is a picture of me when I was about 14 years old in a bikini. I hope after seeing this you guys will never ask me a plastic surgery question again! I have had a size C since I was 11 years old! So one day I will definitely get a lift, but I am waiting until after I have kids. Until then I rely on a great supportive bra! LOL!

All the butt implant rumors are just so not true and now just silly to me. I have answered dozens of times “no I do not have butt implants,” but people just don’t seem to want to believe it!

I have always had an insecurity with my nose… People also have assumed I have had a nose job, but I have not! I look exactly the same as I did when I was a kid, except my nose has grown a little. I hate the bump on the side of my nose, but am way too afraid to mess with my face!

While I never looked like Kim, I was a C by the time I was 11 too, so that’s definitely possible. Some girls develop much earlier, and some women are just curvier. I realized that while the picture does make Kim’s claims seem legitimate, somehow her whole body just fits together better in it. I think it’s because she’s not overly-made-up like she always is now. Even just going to the grocery store Kim looks fake because of her makeup, her tacky manicures, etc. She looks plastic so people assume she is.

She’s naturally gorgeous and is lucky to have coloring that doesn’t require a ton of goop to be slathered on. I think people would tone down all the questions if Kim seemed better at working what she naturally has instead of piling on a bunch of other junk.

Clay Aiken has never seemed to understand what the fuss is in terms of his sexual orientation. While this can be attributed to an unwillingness to come out of the closet, Clay’s also said he doesn’t see himself as a very sexual person – and I think that plays a part in it too. I think he genuinely doesn’t understand why people would care one way or the other, since he doesn’t really see himself in a possibly sexual way. But he did finally come out of the closet, noting that he needed to be open and honest because that’s the way he wants to raise his son.

Since then Clay has said he has no regrets about how he handled things, and he’s had to remind people that he’s still the exact same person he was before he came out.

“I would have preferred to separate my personal life from my professional life,” Aiken, 29, writes on his clayonline.com. “But, living as myself without discussing my sexuality publicly would have been as impossible.” Writing on various message boards, many Aiken fans expressed feelings of betrayal by the American Idol alum.

Aiken has no regrets about the way he handled his personal life over the past five years, saying he has “the same liberties and rights that every single gay man and woman in the world should have … the right to determine for myself when I was ready to discuss my personal life.”

Discussing himself in a 2003 Rolling Stone interview, Aiken opined that male celebrities are either considered womanizers or gay. “Since I’m neither one of those, people are completely concerned about me,” he said.

He says he will not apologize for the response, saying, “When this guy started asking me about things that I didn’t really know how to answer for myself, things that I was not yet ready to admit to folks like my mother and my family, things that I found intimidating and invasive, I responded in what I assumed was a benign way at the time.” In conclusion Aiken blogs, “I am not defined by my sexuality. It is, simply, a small facet of the same person I have always been. Nothing has changed.”

I think it’s important to remember that while it’s normal to wonder about a lot of things that are ambiguous, Clay – and any gay person – has the right to come out when and how they want to. It’s not information they owe anyone. As People noted, he did explicitly state that he’s not gay, but I understand how that could happen if you haven’t prepared yourself on how to deal with that line of questioning. Though Clay’s the same person, I hope he has a sense of peace and happiness for being able to live his life out in the open.

As the comedian’s impressions of the GOP vice presidential candidate draw laughs from Republicans and Democrats alike, a top honcho from the John McCain campaign tells me there’s a debate going on about how to respond.

Some key McCain staffers are content with Palin joking about the “SNL” routines on the campaign trail — as when she scribbled “I’m not Tina Fey” on a supporter’s cell phone and said she’d dressed as Fey on Halloween. But others — including the governor herself — think a return punch on the NBC airwaves is what’s needed.

Palin is talking about spoofing Fey’s American Express commercials, which won’t be easy as they’re pretty much Tina Fey spoofing Tina Fey, anyway.  It’ll be interesting to see what Sarah can do in this genre.  Hillary Clinton more than pulled it off with Amy Poehler, and McCain did a pretty funny skit last season about releasing an album.  Barack Obama was scheduled to appear on the season opener this year but cancelled due to Ike, so his only appearance was a short Halloween party sketch last year that was really short, and not all that funny.

Sarah Palin takes herself pretty seriously, so it’s not a surprise that she’s talking about hitting back.  I’m just not sure she’ll be able to send someone up and come off likable and good natured with it.  She’s good at mocking people, but it’s not usually in true good humor.  There’s no doubt she’ll do it with a smile on her face, and a wink of her eye, though.

This coming Saturday’s SNL will be a repeat, but they have a political primetime special airing this Thursday.  That would be the optimum opportunity for Palin to do her best Fey, but there are only a couple live show left before the election.

While we don’t know what Pitt’s meeting was about it’s possible he’s about to lend his support to Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama. Just Jared points out that other photos of Pitt holding that folder on his bike show a distinctive Obama illustration on the cover.

Both Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise have managed to handle themselves with a lot of grace regarding their marriage and divorce. Though they did eventually discuss some of their deeper disappointments, neither of them did it in a salacious or defamatory way. They also seem to have been very gracious and congratulatory with each other when they moved on to new phases in their lives: getting remarried, having new children, etc.

Nicole was recently asked by Elle magazine about her relationship with husband Keith Urban. Said that she never dreamed that she’d meet someone that she felt something deeper for with than she felt for Tom, but she did. She also said Tom has that same deeper connection with Katie.

“I didn’t foresee it, that you can meet somebody who you have a deep and more profound love with,” the actress - who divorced Tom Cruise in 2001 - tells November’s Elle.

“I don’t mean to take away anything with Tom, but I would hope that he has the same thing - I know he has the same thing with Katie,” Kidman adds. “You move into a stage where you’re able to be a more fuller [sic] person in your relationship.”

She continues, “I want to be really careful with that because I don’t want to take away from 11 years with that man that were really important. Really, for our kids — they were amidst a lot of love. It wasn’t bad. And now we’re amidst a more evolved love.”

Does she have any regrets about marrying Cruise at the young age of 22?

“Um, no. Would I want my kids to get married at that age? No!” Kidman says. “But that was an extraordinary thing for me. [Tom] taught me an enormous amount — as a girl into a woman. Absolutely, I would do it again.”

It’s interesting that there clearly isn’t the same level of interest in Nicole and Keith’s relationship as there is in Tom and Katie’s. Almost every article that talked about this headline was titled something like “Nicole Kidman: Tom Has a “More Profound” Love With Katie Holmes.” Which is technically what she said, but completely misses the context. But Tom and Katie probably sell more because their relationship confuses and intrigues people. Though Nicole and Keith seem a little unusual, they don’t seem whacky by any stretch. Tom and Katie’s relationship seems so superficial – at least the part that they show to the rest of the world – that you’re just left sitting there befuddled, trying to figure it all out.

Nicole also talks about giving birth for the first time at 41 and the ways it’s different to be a mother at this age than when she was younger. The way she puts it, it sounds like there’s a lot more anxiety for her now, and like she actually feels more intensely about motherhood.

On becoming a mother later in life:
“At 41, it’s a more painful love. I look at that little girl, and I’m, like, Oh, no, what’s going to happen? It’s almost like my heart is stretching; I’m feeling all these muscles stretch with emotion. It’s a beautiful love but there’s a lot of fear and pain for her life, and for Bella’s and Connor’s life. I like to believe that nothing was stopping Sunday from coming into the world.”

On natural childbirth:
“It was the most beautiful thing to go through with him [husband Keith Urban]. I had a great team of women, too. At one point there were nine women in the room and Keith.”

Nicole seems to have to catch herself every so often and include Conner and Isabella in her statements. In the one above, it sort of seems like they’re added in there as an afterthought.

Nicole pays the ultimate compliment to Keith in the article, saying, “‘He’s the greatest man besides my dad I’ve ever met,’ the actress says. ‘He’s loyal and he’s a soul searcher.’” It sounds like they’re clearly a much better fit for each other, and have an entirely different kind of love than Nicole ever had with Tom. If nothing else, it seems like they’re both really happy in their lives and their families.

People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive got very unsexy for his recent role in The Informant where he played FBI informant Mark Whitacre.  Damon put on alot of weight and facial hair, the latter of which made him look eerily like Ned Flanders, and while the glasses and overstimulated mustache came off easily, the weight takes a little more work.  A fourth Bourne movie is rumored to start filming in the next year and Jason Bourne isn’t carrying any extra weight.  I’m still convinced Jason Bourne was really the Sexiest Man Alive, Damon just got it by default.

Though Matt and his family live in Miami, no one was expecting the Oscar-winning Damon brother to be running the last leg of the race, so the finish line observers were surprised to see the movie star.  Other runners were also a little star struck.

”I think I need to start running right now, too,” shouted competitor Maria Jimena Neveda as she watched Damon sprint out of the ”transition” area where Hetherington passed off the team’s ankle monitor to the star.

Damon spent a few minutes before his run posing for pictures with Neveda and her friends.

”I wish I could be running after him,” she said.

Matt was met at the finish line by his wife, Luciana, and their new daughter, Gia, so it all would have been for naught, Maria.  Matt Damon would be a hell of a carrot on the end of a stick to chase to the finish line, though.

Last week it was reported that well-respected manager Johnny Wright offered to meet with Ali Lohan and possibly become her manager. This would have been a huge coup for Ali and possibly led to an actual career where she could be more than just the lead-in to a joke about Dina Lohan. Dina, however, being Dina, completely blew the entire thing for her. She still wanted to keep Ali’s entire manager fee for herself – which leads one to wonder, exactly how she thought Johnny Wright should be compensated.

The whole thing reeked of ego. And though Ali’s camp confirmed that they took a meeting with Wright, his side is now saying that they’ve never met with the Lohans and he’d never consider managing Ali’s career. The response is really terse and it’s clear he’s pissed as hell about something. I’m guessing Dina’s ego and the resulting wasting of his time.

FAMED music manager Johnny Wright is not only saying, “Thanks, but no thanks” to Dina Lohan - he slams her and her daughter Ali in a statement to Page Six. Lohan sources said Wright - who steered the Jonas Brothers and Justin Timberlake to the top - offered to manage Ali’s career. At the time, Dina told us via a rep she was interested and would take the meeting. But forget that.

A scathing statement from Wright’s company states: “Johnny Wright would like to set the record straight regarding his involvement with Ali Lohan.

“Johnny Wright has never met with Ali Lohan, has never been introduced to Ali Lohan, nor has he had a meeting with Ali or Dina Lohan regarding Ali’s music career. While he wishes Ali Lohan the best in all her endeavors, Mr. Wright has never had any intention of speaking with Ali Lohan regarding her career. Any story that has surfaced about such a meeting holds no merit and is completely false.

“Wright Entertainment Group has never had any interest or intention of adding Ali Lohan as an artist on the company’s roster, which currently includes Justin Timberlake, Jonas Brothers, Janet Jackson and Ciara amongst others.

That last paragraph implies a lot. Both that Dina is a moron for passing on the opportunity to have Ali managed by someone with such a client roster… and it also is implying that Ali isn’t good enough to be a part of Wright management. Which she definitely isn’t at this point, but part of being a good manager is cultivating a career. Dina obviously has some experience because she managed Lindsay, but I would think it takes a special kind of talent and experience to successfully brand a younger sister in a way that is unique and separate from the older one.

Though they deny ever taking a meeting with the Lohans, it’s pretty clear that Wright is pissed and insulted – not that I blame him. But really, the joke is on Dina. She’s so dumb and full of herself that she has no clue that whatever attention she’s getting is because people are laughing at her stupidity, not admiring her business savvy like she’d hoped.

I never thought one person could stir up so much trouble from jail. Amy Winehouse’s loser husband Blake Fielder-Civil has managed to once again rile up the family of the woman he supposedly loves and deeply cares about. Blake sent Amy’s dad Mitch a volatile six page letter from prison, in which he described all sorts of vile ways he wanted to harm the cabbie. Now Mitch has to figure out if he should press charges of some sort against his son-in-law or try to let it go – for fear of losing access to Amy.

AMY WINEHOUSE’s husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has sent a vile and abusive letter to her dad MITCH. The six-page poison pen note from prison is packed with violent threats and abuse aimed at the cabbie. The letter is now in the hands of the police and solicitors as Mitch weighs up a difficult conundrum — press charges and risk his relationship with Amy or let the waste of space off the hook again.

A close pal of Mitch’s told me: “I could hear Mitch physically shaking when he phoned to tell me about the letter… He couldn’t even bring himself to read it out loud as it was just too sickening… But he told me that Blake described graphic scenes from a horror movie, in which Mitch is the victim… Part of Mitch wants to pursue this further with the police, maybe even taking out a restraining order… But then he is worried about it all driving a wedge between him and Amy.”

This isn’t the first time Blake has written dubious notes from the slammer. In July The Sun revealed how he had been plotting drug-fueled sex romps with a female lag — even hinting at a possible threesome with his wife.

Maybe this is just me, but when I really love someone I manage to keep my letter writing to subjects other than their parents – no matter how much I’ve disliked them. It almost makes you wonder if Blake indeed does really love or care about Amy at all. Shocker, I know! Who would ever have accused him of using her? He’s got a useful life; clearly he’s with her because of love, not necessity. What is it that he does again? Right… nothing. Unless being a drug mule counts, which I’m guessing he’s done a time or two.

Even though Blake has repeatedly turned down offers to be let out of prison early as long as he agrees to live with his mother and not Amy, I seriously doubt this couple will last long once they’re reunited. They’ve both cheated on each other to various degrees, their families hate each other and blame each other for their children’s problems, and they’re both desperate junkies. Nearly a fairytale romance, but not quite.
