Splash News took this video of Lindsay Lohan walking out of the hospital the day after her supposed appendix surgery. TMZ posted the video and they say it’s a miracle that’s she walking and didn’t she heal quickly? She looks like she’s walking fine to me and doesn’t walk gingerly or anything. People are going to say it brings her story into doubt, and that she had some other reason for going into the hospital.
Word is that Lohan hasn’t attended an AA meeting since the beginning of December and that she’s been drinking vodka out of water bottles to make it look like she’s staying sober. All these rumors about Lohan coupled with her trying to hide as she nonchalantly strolled out of the hospital make it seem like she needed a medical intervention for some other reason.
My aunt had her appendix removed recently, and she was kept in the hospital for two days. She says she could walk the next day, but wasn’t as steady on her feet as Lindsay seems in this video. She wasn’t 20 at the time, though, so who knows about Lindsay?
Update: commentors on Oh No They Didn’t! are saying that if Lohan had a less invasive form of appendectomy she could be out walking in a day without a problem. It’s easy to believe the worst about her given her history.
I’ll believe it when she’s in people showing the scar with her appendix in the jar on the table next to her. c.o.k.e.w.h.o.r.e.
I’m not saying that she didn’t lie about her appendicitis, but for the record – it’s possible to be out and about the day after a surgery like an appendectomy.
i’ve had it i wasn’t wandering the streets with a bouquet looking for my ride thats for sure. i had the “less invasive” proceedure as well….
She should have stayed in the hospital for rest.
It’s likely the hospital booted her out. I had an even more invasive procedure once – I had the operation on a Thursday night, and they had me leave Friday morning. Seriously, hospitals aren’t real big into letting you rest – at least not there.
I had an appendectomy when I was eight (healthier and more active than a heavy drinking 20 year old) and it still took me two days to walk again. Fraud is what she is.
Thank You Jorge! Yeah the hospital will likely send you home, but like i said before… i wasn’t roaming the street looking for my ride. 🙂 HA!
She really doesn’t invite the benefit of the doubt, does she?
***She really doesn’t invite the benefit of the doubt, does she?***
Nope, not after her sunstroke due to too much partying at night…
of course almost every surgery is “drive by” these days but she was able to move rapidly and change directions quickly, even yell while holding her hand UP .. not likely even if you had a less invasive procedure. Most people would be in some pain and likely to walk with caution, not running around looking for a ride. She doesn’t show any signs of having had a serious procedure. Looks like fraud to me.
P.S. Not only she walks fine but she managed to hit the club scene the same night! X17 has the details and some photos. Here is what they wrote:
“I admire Lindsay’s fortitude — discharged from the hospital after an apendectomy in the morning, hitting the clubs later that same day! Lindsay dined at Pace and then headed to a club in West Hollywood and left at 2:30 am! I guess in many cases it really is mind over matter and the quicker you can get back to living your life, the faster you’ll heal? But siriously, folks, the girl is strong — either that or she’s a better actress than her ‘Prairie Home Companion’ co-star Meryl Streep!”
P.S.2–aren’t you supposed to be on some kind of diet (light and bland, not club diet for sure!) immediately after an intestinal surgery? She doesn’t even TRY to pretend.
She’s walking fine because she’s numbing the pain with alcohol 🙂
*sigh* oh dear. I’m not that much older than her and if I had her life I’d spend all my spare time at home in my PJ’s. Enjoying all the comforts money could buy lol. She’s crazy.
She has endless money and endless time. That is a nasty combination! If she was in school or had a real job and career, she wouldn’t have the time to get wasted each night. I wish she had REAL parents and REAL friends. Then, she would be on her way to true happiness, instead of death.
I had my appendix removed through a laparascopy surgery (three incisions – one for air tube, one for camera, one for removal tool). For a few days after the surgery, I walked like I was pregnant, clutching my stomach.
