This week’s Star Magazine has a very amusing article about a supposed heart to heart talk between co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman that is complete creative fiction. It’s damn funny, though, and we’re not above repeating it. According to Star’s imagination, Aniston and Kidman bonded in an on set workout session when they talked about what losers/babies their ex husbands, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, were and how their sex lives sucked toward the end of their famous marriages. Jennifer and Nicole also allegedly talked about children, and Aniston was left in tears when Kidman enlightened her about how rewarding it is to be a mother. Poor childless rich gorgeous movie star Jen, right?
The main topic of discussion: their famous exes, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt! “It was so therapeutic. Nic and Jen were doubled over in laughter making fun of the guys’ quirks,” the insider says. “Nothing was off limits!”
Indeed. The women even dished about what went on in the bedroom! “Jen definitely didn’t have kind words to say about Brad,” another source familiar with the conversation tells Star. “She told Nicole that he may be a sex symbol, but he could sometimes be a selfish lover.” Jen also revealed that their sex life practically came to a standstill at the end of their marriage.
Nicole then let loose on Tom, 47. “Jen was taken aback after learning they sometimes went a long time without affection,” reveals a source.
The women soon turned to discussing other juicy tidbits…
While Nicole grumbled about Tom’s micromanaging, Jen, 41, dished back that during her relationship with Brad, 46, he was extremely immature. “She confided that she felt like his nursemaid,” says the source, adding she often helped him after his all-night drinking benders. “She thought he needed to be looked after like a teenager…”
“Nicole advised Jen that even if she doesn’t meet the right guy, she should have a baby or adopt because motherhood is the most fulfilling thing she’ll ever do,” says the source. “Jen had tears in her eyes when Nic said that.”

I’m surprised Star didn’t mention how poorly endowed Brad Pitt is. (Allegedly, although photos and exes sort of confirm) They really missed the boat on that one. Star made this way too tame and needs to spice it up. Instead of using vague descriptions about bad sex lives and caretaker relationships they should have made it specific. We want to read stories about how Tommy made Nicole watch wrestling before he would make love missionary style with the lights off and how Aniston had to hold Brad’s hair back and wash off his beard when he puked in the toilet following tequila binges.
Wow, two celebrities can’t even hug or be in the same room without speculation. How long ago were their divorces? I doubt they’re still talking about it lol. Pretty amusing, though.

Every time I read this about JA who is 41 I ask myself how long is she supposed to keep looking or waiting for “the right one” before giving up and adopting? Till she’s 50? 60? Don’t snap at me – I don’t think it’s how she sees her life’s present and future – it’s purely about tabloids (and presumably their audience) weird take on the reasonable timeline for these matters.
And in regards to Brad’s package – from the photos he seemed pretty average to me. Certainly no big deal but not too small either. It all comes down to what he can do with it. Beard and AJ wrath notwithstanding I’d still be willing to learn first hand 😉

And my 2 cents to movie start debate: I think when someone was at A-level for years it takes much more then a couple of BO flops to take them down. All 4 of them are still insanely popular and recognisable even if it’s not always for the “right” reasons anymore (like for their great acting and success of their movies as opposed to tabloids coverage).

Add to that $40M production budget the $50M promotion costs (they paid more than $2M for the SuperBowl ad, alone) and you have a movie that did not make money. The total cost of the movie was approx. $90M. The movie needed to earn about $180M to break even. It did not. Therefore it was a BOMB!! You also neglected to mention the two movies Aniston starred in before “Bounty,” one of which earned somewhere around $1M altogether!! Overall, Jennifer’s last few movies have not exactly been money earners. However, she is still considered a movie star and is still being hired for movies. I don’t know why, but she is.
Also, in these photos Jennifer at 41 looks way better then Nicole, who is not much older. In fact, Jennifer looks about 10 years younger than Nicole. I wonder how this is going to work in the final product. I guess they can use a lot of Vaseline and cheesecloth over the lens to make Nicole look better!!

I’m sure if Jen wanted a baby, she would have one by now. Obviously she has chosen to focus on her career (opinions vary greatly as to her being successful or not) and good for her. There is nothing wrong with being female and not feeling the motherhood urge. It’s not for everyone.
Agree with Alex, it sucks when people talk about penis size, it just seems really petty, and smacks of hypocrisy because if a man made a similar comment about a woman he would be seen as a jerk. Also no one knows what happened in the marriages of both Nicole and Jen so calling their ex husbands terrible isn’t neccesarily fair. I guess I hate this whole thing of victimising divorced women and bashing men as if that makes up for anything the women might have been through.
Also Jen’s movies might make money sometimes but most people are yet to agree that it is due to her star power alone, she has a great reputation though, like teflon nothing bad sticks to her. However she has worked pretty consistently for many years and deserves a break from critics sometimes. As for Nicole, it seems her time has passed for the time being but nothing is permanent in Hollywood so who knows..

One thing I like about Brad and Tom is that they don’t play the same character in every movie and I agree with Bite me, I think overall they are bigger stars than Nic and Jen. And I thought that nic got that plastic lip thingy taken out, but I guess not.

Kidding aside, what annoys me about stupid drivel like this is that the media cannot for one second allow women to be anything other than petty, catty or jealous. They couldn’t roll with the more traditional route of painting the two female co-stars as at odds and jealous of each other given the pics and stories from the set have clearly shown them as friendly. So instead Star has to write about some supposed conversation where they are both catty and petty and jealous of their exs. Why not write about them bonding over being women over 40 and still succesful and in demand as actresses? Or bonding over similar interests in the arts, fashion/beauty, workouts, etc? Are people really that set on believing the only thing these two could have in common and wanted to bond over all these years later were their former spouses and divorces? I doubt the same would have been said about Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt if they were caught hanging out together.
And for those who constantly say about Jennifer “if she wanted a child she would have had one already,” I hope all your desires in life come true so easily. Who knows if she will ever have children, but simply because she hasn’t had one YET, doesn’t mean she doesn’t desire it or won’t at some point – nor does it mean we should use it against her as some validation that “she never wanted children.” I can only go by her own interviews where she has been clear that her preference is to have a child with a partner. If she doesn’t meet such a guy, maybe she will never have children, or maybe she will adopt at a certain point regardless of whether she has a guy in her life. I can’t see the future and neither can you.
And yes all four of them are film/movie stars. I find it amusing when people cannot separate their obvious dislike of a person from reality. There are plenty of celebrities I dislike, but I would never allow that bias to cloud the truth that others do like them and that they are in fact successful. Stars of the claibre of these four and with careers spanning as long as these four will inevitably have highs and lows, but this usually does not affect their status greatly. People can keep on believing that Jennifer is “simply a TV star,” but the truth of the matter is that she has more than 10 movie projects in various stages of development, was just signed to two high profile buzzed about projects this week, is one of the top earning actresses and is also one of the most bankable. This last fact is what keeps her getting hired. While the media and bloggers were trying to paint The Bounty Hunter as a flop it was quietly earning more than triple its production budget worldwide (and counting). Even given promotional costs, this movie will most certainly turn a profit.
Iway, if you have some facts about what took place with Angelina and Brad do tell. I know many love to speculate and use rumors as facts but if you really were there and know something we’d love to know.
According to everyone who’s come forward including people on the set of MAMS, friends and Brad, Jen and Angelina no cheating took place.
This is what happends when a good man is upfront with his wife and they decide to end the marriage so he can move on. It’s no law that people should wait to date new people. I think Brad wasted to much time, he wasn’t getting any younger.
Actually, I think it’s kind of nice that they can have a story about two actresses who get along instead of the typical jealousy type stories that we generally get.

Am I the only one that doesn’t think this story is that outrageous? Long hours on set, spending tons of time together, shit comes up. Like Kaiser points out, it’s a rather tame story. And they’re NOT talking about penis size, people. Kaiser brought up that one. And I’m not even going to try and argue with the people who insist that Jen and/or Nicole aren’t movie stars. Their exes have made/produced movies that banked less, but of course, those numbers are quietly ignored…

I think the problem with all these so-called actors (Jennifer, Nicole, Jolie) is that they equate their past fame/success with talent. So, they end up repeating what worked, which is called “entertaining” not “acting.” So, instead of growing, trying new things, or taking more acting lessons, they repeat the same dull roles. Maybe, it’s because they let the fame go to their head, and buy into the hype. Who knows?

This story is BS Jen has done nothing but praise Pitt for the last 2 years on Oprah, in EW and other interviews while promoting Marley and ME . Regarding Angie ,Congrats on being nominated for all major awards for Changeling- Oscar, BAFTA,SAG and Golden Globes. Congrats for being the highest paid actress in Hollywood according to THR. She earned $20 million for Salt according to VF and $20 million for The Tourist.The last 3 films Angie apperared in 2008 grossed $1.1 billion.KFP 650 million, Wanted 350M and Changeling over 110 million. According to article in NYT last month she is one of the few movie stars still commanding her salary up front , most have their salary deferred including Clooney and Roberts(Eat, Pray and Love). Why wouldn’t these two ladies dish about their messy divorces–both have recovered, and when that happens, it allows famous people to trust each other with “catty” truths about celebrity marriage. I think Nicole had the FAR worse marriage and divorce, but it was MUCH quieter. This they also compared notes about, I bet, b/c poor Jennifer had the MOST PUBLIC horrid betrayal imaginable. Why wouldn’t they dish about it, is my quesion. That’s what classy, non jealous women do. I like them both, though I hope Nicole takes it easy on the botox and lip crap—it’s not becoming.
I don’t see how TC hooking up with Penelope, his costar at the time of filing for divorce, is any different from what happened to JA. How is it less horrid and all? Especially when you add there TC’s attempt to deny NC a decent settlement via insisting on that they broke up before their 10th anniversary that they so famously celebrated just 2 months before with friends and family. And then she had a very public miscarriage. And every tabloid was writing crap about her, that she’ s slut and slept with Ewan and Jude Low and that baby wasn’t Tom’s. She had to publicly deny that! And as a result of their divorce she appears to have lost real connection with her 2 older kids.
