Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were sent down to Australia for a little early promotion for Eclipse. These photos are from a photo call on Monday – what do you think of Kristen’s bright yellow skirt? Eh. Her style is so weird. She’s got a nice figure, but too often she wears clothes that don’t really do much. Plus, she slouches. That oh-so-cool hipster slouch. Sorry, I’m still very much in a “I want to smack that self-righteous, self-pitying eyeroll off her doucheface” mood.
Pour a 40 out for Sparkles, because he was not invited to go along, and that’s a shame. I like Kristen better when she’s trying to avoid touching him. Actually, I think he probably got out of it because he’s filming in California for Water for Elephants. Lucky bloke. Anyway, those Aussie tweens are f-cking crazy, as evidenced last month by The Great Bieber Revolt (in which hundreds of Bieb-ettes went crazy and one of his shows had to cancelled). For one of Kristen and Taylor’s appearances, a short Q & A session, 4,000 Twihards showed up and basically just screamed their heads off for an hour.
But don‘t think that Americans are the only nationality with Twihard cougars – oh no. Australia also has some ladies of indeterminate age who love some Sparkles and Taylor Lautner. When asked about the cougars, Taylor replied, “They are twice as dangerous, three, four. You get mums that ask you to take your shirt off or sign their underwear… there’s a lot of stuff. They are definitely the most passionate and we love our cougar mums.” Aw… yeah, poor Taylor. I bet he gets propositioned by 50-year-old Twi-moms all the time. But you know who isn’t gracious at all? That’s right, everyone’s favorite sourpuss, Kristen Stewart. Coming off her stunning interview in Elle UK – where she seemed to compare the paparazzi to rapists – she decided to flip the bird to photographers, and then bitch about being hounded to anyone who would listen. According to Radar, one fan asked for Kristen‘s autograph, but she refused. The fan told Radar: “She was just in a bad mood because of the photographers. She sprinted along the wharf trying to get away. She was swearing at them and tried running into a restaurant, but the door was locked. She was saying, ‘Stop taking my picture’.”

She doesn’t enjoy fame, clearly. What I don’t understand is why people enter the tv/film industry if they don’t want the adulation. At this point, I think we all know that with sky-rocketing fame comes all of the other stuff – paparazzi, press, interviews, etc.
Either deal with it, or get out of the business.
I wouldn’t like to be chased with a camera all day, so I’m keeping all my fabulous-ness to myself.

After 2011 when the Twish*te series is over, she’ll probably be begging for media attention so how much would I have loved it if – a la George Clooney at The Peacemaker(?) premiere post his “the paps killed Princess Di” comments – all the big, bad photogs had turned their backs when she came in. As for her fashion, there’s quite a bit of that grey/yellow colour combination in the higher-end high street stores here (UK) and I have to say I like the look.

She spent two days in Australia and flipped the paps off and indirectly her fans 5 times, on the hotel balocony, several times on a speed boat and then complains.
She is there to promote her film and greet her fans instead she shows every cliche of dumb American in a foreign country. But this isn’t suprising. She also thought there is only jungle in Brazil and not a 20Mil city like Sao Paolo when she was there.
She needs to go back to school and not embarass her nation.
She actually looks good here! I love bright colours, especially yellow and it’s nice that she doesn’t look stoned, hangover or sleepy for once! I hope she keeps it that! Also, those Twihards are crazy! I can understand it when teenagers and kids idolize celebrities that much but I can’t believe that grown up women can act this way. There’s something seriously wrong there!

A lot of people excuse her behavior by saying she’s young, and that all the media attention on her is unfair. True, but reading that about the insane cougars, I now think that Taylor probably has it a lot worse than she does – not only is he under the same media scrutiny, but the female fans are downright nuts and probably often very inappropriate with him, but he seems to somehow handle it all graciously. Oh yeah, he’s also a couple years younger than Kristen too.
She could try living like regular folks for awhile…..out of work or underemployed….maybe working at a job she hates to keep a roof over her head and food on the table where she most certainly can not flip off the people who annoy her day in and day out. Let’s see how much she’d bitch then.

The skirt and shirt combo isn’t so bad, I actually kind of like it, but it doesn’t look god on her. It does nothing for those “pudding sack” boobs.
I understand that her life is probably a lot more difficult regarding her privacy and stuff like that but she made this choice. This what she wanted to do, she did not have to continue to do twilight films. She always has this “poor me” attitude when she is really so lucky. All I’m saying is that there are other people in the world who have real problems.
Don’t worry Kristen, they’ll stop taking your picture soon. If you’re lucky you’ll have saved up enough money to live off by that time – they don’t put up with that kind of attitude in normal jobs.

i can’t imagine what it’s like having so many obsessed with you, actually it’s not even you, it’s a pretend character you play. You can’t go anywhere or do anything without people taking pictures of you, being in your face and making up stories and commenting about you when they don’t even know you…fame isn’t all what’s it cracked up to be…
Hmm, I’m not sure what to think. I go back and forth with her. One of those pics shows her posing with fans and it also looks like she’s been signing autographs, she also doesn’t seem to have a problem being photographed at press calls and events. I think it’s when she’s out and about and getting hounded that pisses her off. I’m not going to tell her to suck it up as I’m not in her shoes and I don’t think being famous gives the paps or the public rights to all aspect of her life, (she’s still a person not a commodity). However, I do think she could learn to handle it a bit better. Be a bit more gracious and professional, like her co-stars. Like Kaiser said, Taylor and Rob, have to deal with a bit more Twilight craziness than she does, yet they’re not going about flipping the bird to anyone.
