It feels like we haven’t talked about Jessica Simpson in a while. She’s been keeping a lower profile for the past few weeks, which is good. I think we all needed a break. She came back to do some kind of pre-launch “sneak peek” thing for her new line of jeans. The Jessica Simpson jeanswear line will debut this fall, and the press release claims: “the vision of the collection is to be iconic yet fashion forward; always accessible yet timeless. Along with her denim creations, Miss Simpson’s line will also include woven and knit tops.” Is Jessica modeling her jeans and tops in these photos? Because I have to admit, I don’t hate those jeans she’s wearing. True, they don’t look really expensive or well-made or anything, but they look like a cute pair of cheap jeans.
LaineyGossip pointed out that Jessica’s 30th birthday is coming up in two weeks. Lainey thinks she’s going to go big, but I’m not so sure. For some reason, I kind of think Jessica will be a mess, bless her heart. She probably won’t want people to draw attention to it. She hasn’t been talking about it on Twitter, so I’m think there won’t be any kind of Barbie or Pony or Sparkle-themed bash, thank God. My birthday wish for her? I want her to go out with her girls, get hammered and go home with a really sexy dude that she has no interest in having a relationship with.
Also – Jessica has definitely lost weight since we last saw her. This first photo below is from the end of May – someone did a quick diet, right?

You are delusional if you think she won’t make a big deal out of turning 30. If she isn’t in the press, she doesn’t exist (given that she has no discernable talent). Prepare for OK, US, People covers about “new body for new woman of 30, Jessica Simpson” and how, through her “journey” she has matured and is comfortable with her age and being a grown up and, oh, I have to go throw up now. I so wish she would go away forever.
Good on her! It’s such a great feeling when you FEEL good, and she looks happy. And I like her jeans, too.
I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight when the baby was 9 months old, and the weight has been dropping off ever since. He’s a year old now, and I’m 25 lbs less than I was when I got pregnant.

Her face looks the same weight-wise but it looks kind of off. She may have lost little weight but its the posing that makes her look thinner.

I don’t think she was fat. She had put on a few lbs compared to when she was her most famous, but I’m guessing in real life she looked normal.

I think it’s just a skinny outfit. Jessica doesn’t exactly wear flattering outfits for her body, I think this is one of the few times she has got it right.

She has such a beautiful face and always has, no matter what her weight. When she was 17 or so and first emerging on the music scene, she was an inspiration to the curvier among us teenage girls… and she was still very thin then.

Dude, that shirt brings back memories, from when I was a kid,lol. Donnie was my favorite,lol. Well she’s not super skinny, but not fat either, she still looks pretty, I don’t think “thin is in” or “hot.”
Jessica is short like me, and when you gain even just a a few pounds, it’s got nowhere to go and you look like you’ve gained 10 pounds.

Anyway, I’m kind of excited about her jeans. I hope they’re not too expensive, they don’t look like cheap jeans to me. Then again I can’t really tell the difference between expensive/cheap jeans until I look at the price tag. As a general rule, I won’t spend over $20 on a pair of jeans. Then again I usually stick to Levi’s since I tend to get compliments when I wear them. I will def. be looking for these next time I go shopping to at least try on.
Not much weightloss if any. She’s top heavy and very much an apple shape which means that she’s got shapely legs and a thicker middle. With this shape you want to accentuate the legs and detract from your waist. Jessica is wearing fitted jeans and t-shirt that camoflauges her mid-section and a really cute jacket. In short, she’s finally dressed for her body-type.
She did lose weight and she looks great! I think she is a nice sweet girl, I hope she finds herself a good guy.

I think she was at a spa or some such to drop a few lbs. I can’t blame her for going, she gets endless crap about being even the tiniest bit overweight – overweight by Hollywood standards.
She’s dopey, but I feel bad for her at this point. People mock her, her father’s a creep who probably warped her mind, she can’t find a decent guy.
