Just to make this clear, Miranda Kerr and Orly Bloom have not confirmed that they are expecting. Us Weekly just has “sources” who claim that Miranda is pregnant. If it’s true, this is not shocking in the least – after a whirlwind month-long engagement, Orly and Miranda got married secretly, discreetly and amazingly fast last week in Australia, and many theorized that the wedding was of the shotgun variety. I theorized that Miranda probably wasn’t knocked up, only because I didn’t see her wanting to put her modeling career on hold to have a baby right away, but it looks like I could be wrong!

Not only did the lovebirds recently pull off a totally under-the-radar wedding, but a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly that the Victoria’s Secret model, 27, has been keeping something else classified as well: She’s pregnant!
“She’s definitely pregnant… Miranda’s thrilled,” says a source close to the Australia native, who wed the actor, 33, at an undisclosed location — reportedly in the Caribbean — less than a month after revealing their engagement on June 21. “She’s telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it.”
While the pal says no official announcement will be made, the couple of three years’ big news will be hard to keep hidden.
“She poses in lingerie,” says the friend of Kerr, who has modeled for Victoria’s Secret since 2007. “It will be obvious soon enough.”
The bride, who kicked off a Caribbean getaway with Bloom at Anguilla’s Viceroy resort on July 17, certainly hasn’t hidden her desire for a child.
“I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day,” she recently told an Australian newspaper. “And I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad!”

Of course, this could all be bullsh-t. But Us Weekly has been veering more towards the People Magazine route of only reporting pregnancies and such when they have some harder confirmations, so I tend to think it’s probably true. Congratulations to the happy couple if it true – I’m sure they’re totally thrilled.

I don’t understand the point of shotgun weddings. It’s not 1957 and far as I can tell neither of the are super-religious or anything.

I think her reps denied it. But really these mags post week after week that someone is pregnant..And then they never are. So when she decides to share this information which is no ones business especially when it true it is at the very early stages.

Ah, figures, that didn’t take long…as everyone said…no wonder the rush, hmm. I wish them the best in parenting and in their relationship, cause no one is perfect. All we can do is the best we can to our knowledge.

Maybe she will fill out. First thing my boyfriend said when he saw her in VS was “she is way too skinny”. Anyway, they seem happy so good for them.
So how tall is he anyway? I always heard he was pocket-size but in some of the photos he looks to be taller than her and if she is a runway model she must be at least 5’9″ I would think.

Well, that does explain the hasty wedding! As others have said, I don’t understand the need for a shotgun wedding in this day and age, but I guess some people are still old fashioned. Each to their own!

And to address all of the so called “modern” people that say that the two are “unneccesarily” getting married “just because” she’s pregnant: Orlando and Miranda have been together solidly for three years now. My guess is that they probably were going to get married with or without a pregnancy (if this is true…) God forbid people make a responsible move and wed before having a child! My advice? Just turn on the Maury Povich show once in a while and see how wonderful it is now that getting married before you have kids has become obsolete. (Yes it is an extreme, but that is the direction our society has been headed in for a while. Let’s not pretned that it all works out perfectly when people go that route lol)
A shotgun wedding is when you’ve only been dating 6 months and you get married when you find out your pregnant. These two have been together for three years so they must have a pretty solid relationship by now.

that’s not neccessarily true about a shot gun wedding even couples that have been together over a year and find out the woman is expecting and get married quickly because of it are called shot gun. and sometimes when you expect to have a child you don’t always get to. just ask academy award winning actress Joanne Woodward for one she was expecting their first child when she married Paul Newman 29th January 1958 only to miscarry 2 weeks later during their london honeymoon. though they eventually had three daughters. god forbid Orlando & Miranda went through that they wouldn’t get the proper time needed to heal.

I doubt at the pregnancy, She is too thin. And if Miranda is, then must had Orlando a very good shoot in her last night before he fly to England in the Middle of April – or he is not the Daddy.
Some australian sources say, she is in the 15th Week. If we take now a calender and count must the fathering in the Week of her birthday – and in this Week was Orlando in England and because of a icelandic volcano not able to fly back (and she to go to Europe).
I think, the only One which lose in this marriage is Orlando. Namely his Money.
And I think, Miranda have to lure him into the Baby Trap for to make sure, she get marry of him.
