Alas, Star Magazine got the scoop, if their reporting can be believed. According to Star’s sources, Ashton cheated on Demi Moore with a “hot young blonde.” Where did this adultery take place? “An out-of-the-way bathroom at Italian restaurant Madeo in L.A.” The “source” also says that Demi has no idea, but that she’ll be “devastated.” Hm… do you buy it?
Their 15-year age gap always made Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore seem like an unlikely match. And now, just five years after getting married, the couple’s relationship is in danger of falling apart as Star breaks the bombshell news that the actor was caught cheating with a sexy, young 20-something.
In the Sept. 13 issue of Star, on sale today, we report that an eyewitness saw the Punk’d mastermind kissing and groping a hot young blonde by an out-of-the-way bathroom at Italian restaurant Madeo in L.A.
“Ashton had this gorgeous girl pinned against the wall, and he was totally making out with her,” an eyewitness, who was on his way to the restroom tells Star. “I was shocked to see him sucking face with a girl who obviously wasn’t Demi.”
When Demi learns the truth of about the steamy session — which Ashton’s rep denied — it will be her worst fear come true.
“All along, Demi was told it would never work, that he’s going to cheat,” a friend tells Star. “When she finds out that it happened, she’ll be devastated.”

My opinion: even if this one incident is not true, I do think Ashton has probably cheated on Demi, and probably will again. For all of their happy talk about their relationship and how great it is, Ashton’s face has been telegraphing some panic lately, like he’s looking for a way out, or like he’s not so happy standing next to Demi on all of those red carpets. It doesn’t help, I suppose, that neither of them have great careers, and that for all of the publicity they generate, it hasn’t really transferred into an A-List career for either of them. Granted, Demi has lots of money, because she’s had a lot of success as a producer, and at one time she did have an A-List career. But Ashton? Mr. Demi Moore? Yeah… that’s why. Poor Demi.

Well at least they have lasted this long. I’m not surprised because Ashton is a handsome young man and there is so much Demi can do to look young, she is starting to look her age and the botox face she has is just not natural. I haven’t read this piece yet and I will but I have to say, I believe it. I think his “love” for demi may have started out as a genuine attraction but then he fell in love with the attention he got with her as his girlfriend/wife. Plus she was loaded and had access to private planes. He was a C grade “actor.” One thing that has always bothered me was that he loves to talk about how his brother had a heart condition and was sickly and he (Ashton) wanted to become a doctor to help find a cure for his brother. That is admirable and all but now that he is famous he never seems to attach himself to charities that could help his brother and people with similiar heart conditions as his brother’s. He attaches himself to charities that Madonna and other famous people endorse. I don’t know maybe I read too much into it but it seems to me if you are going to give interviews about how you wanted to become a doctor to find a cure for a disease and your life took another path instead, a genuine person would use the resources he has to further the cause. I dunno but he seems like a real phony to me.
I want to call bs on this, but the recent freaking parade of celeb men banging random women makes me hesitate to defend him.
I agree with @Jello. Even at 25 I can see how badly our society’s warped. She marries a younger man and we cant believe that he’d remain interested in her – because woman have a sell-by date, right? When men like George Clooney, Flavio Briatore, Brad Pitt and the other 90% of the male population have a jaw-dropping age-gap we turn a blind eye. Men are immune. Are we all waiting for Bruce Willis’s twenty or thirty-something wife to stray, I think not. For that reason (and whatever their own reasons maybe) may god bless the Jennifer Anistons, Demi Moore’s and Madonna’s of this world. Please change the status quo. Can men be old, unattractive and past their sell-by date too.

I think they have/had (?) genuine attraction & love on a physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual level but the fact is they are not biologically matched.

Eden with all due respect, the biological argument has been used for far too long to deny women the same options and rights as men. It was used to argue against women running for political office, for allowing women the right to vote. Women and men are not simply biological creatures but civil, political, social, rational, and importantly, an ever evolving species as well.
Jello, of course women are participants in the civil, political, social realm, as you state.
But that is entirely different from the realm of attraction, which is dictated by hormones and other less than rational forces.
You cannot deny the power of biology much as you may wish to.

I don’t deny we are biological creatures but there’s a dangerous historical precedent here, this argument had been evoked in issues of gender and race in the past and thankfully we have, for the most part debunked them.

Jello, I just think that life isn’t perfect and most of all, it’s not perfectable.
Some women aren’t rational enough to vote, let alone hold office. But, the same is true of men.
You can construct all the arguments in the world to persuade that nobody should wander when they’re in a relationship, but men (and women, too) will wander and we fallible humans will just have to muddle through.
I just don’t believe that we’re going to arrive at some utopian standard of behavior or understanding. We can and should try to improve. But perfection is ultimately unattainable. And that’s life and there is a kind of beauty in the imperfections.
I don’t think it’s just the age gap that makes this juicy it’s the whole youth obsession and plastic surgery denial of Demi coupled with the fact that Ashton is a douche.
I hope that if its true Bruce kicks Ashton’s ass.

I have always wondered why Demi wanted to actually MARRY the boy toy. He seems to be so immature but I only guessed that she had a huge goofy side and they were some sort of soul mates. Sad thing is…we ladies are not allowed to age like the fine wines we are. We are hags when men of the same age are distinguished. Our gray hair must be colored at all costs while they don’t come hotter than Richard Gere. There are exceptions that prove the rule but our society is generally obsessed with the skinny young girl with bolt on boobs so vapid you couldn’t hold a conversation with her if you wanted to do so. Demi’s had body work but she’s had good work. She’s lived a full life full of flavor that surely is beyond fascinating. She deserves better than a little boy. If this story is true and if she had no idea, my heart goes out to her. Being blindsided by a lover you trusted is a pain most of us can relate to.

You’re right. As men age they make their choice of partner based upon perceived fertility and reproductive capability. When we are all 18-20 years old there is no gap. But as men reach 35 they will choose female partners between 5-10 years younger. At 50 this gap grows to 20+ years younger as there is also the added midlife crisis to deal with and the last chance to ‘prove their virility’. On the other hand, younger men tend to be attracted to older women for primarily two reasons, wealth and status. Demi has both but she’s up against biological programming for which he is hard-wired. Rots o ruck.

Honey B, I totally get what you are saying. But I’m just thinking of the age difference in terms of just where you are in life and your experiences. 15 years is a BIG difference. It’s not like we’re even talking 8 years, we’re talking FIFTEEN years. I don’t care if it’s the man or woman who is older, it makes a HUGE difference and I think causes major problems.

My opinion mirrors Eden. This is based on personal experience. Younger men are fun for awhile and then the passion is just not there anymore. Similar to any other relationship. As for cheating that is a way to keep the passion in the relationship for a little bit longer. I would say they are near the end of their relationship.
Actually, I retract part of my earlier post. While I think Ashton Kutcher is exactly the kind of phony that Holden Caulfield dispised, I have a feeling he and Demi planted this stupid story so they would having something to tweet about today. Once again we are thinking about these two for no apparent reason and I think this is their own doing.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that gender should not be used as a means of discrimination or repression.
I don’t know if we are talking about the same thing in what we are commenting on because I still do think that there are biological factors in why people mate and who we choose to reproduce with as well as who we choose as our mates at different phases of life.
He may stay with her for a long time but I tend to think that there will still be a biological pull in the direction of younger women who are able bear his children..

The issue of possible cheating could come up in ANY relationship regardless of age. These two obviously have a pretty good connection and are able to keep it together even through all the rumors, gossip and criticism……they’re happy together for the most part or they would not still be together.
