Ever since Jesse James began hooking up with Kat Von D, we’ve had a constant stream of photos of Kat looking thrilled and JJ looking grumpy. CB and I have both analyzed this sh-t – CB takes a more “poor Sandra, she has to witness this mess” approach, while I was more “live and let live, and Kat is a f-cking famewhore who just won The Douche Lottery.” Anyway, In Touch Weekly has an interview with Kat’s ex-husband, a dude named Oliver Peck, and he has unkind things to say about his ex-wife. Part of me thinks, “Oh, of course he’s bitching about his ex-wife – that’s why they’re divorced.” The other part of me cosigns everything that he says:
The ex-husband of Jesse James’ new girlfriend, Kat Von D, doesn’t have anything good to say about her.
Oliver Peck, owner of Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas, tells In Touch exclusively, “Who knows if the relationship is just a publicity scam — she’ll do anything to stay in the limelight.”
Oliver, who was married to Kat for two years, isn’t holding back his true feelings about her.
“She’s done nothing but screw over every friend she’s had. She cheated on me, got messed up and left me,” he claims.
And he doesn’t have too much hope for Kat’s new relationship with Jesse.
“I don’t think anything with her will last,” Oliver tells In Touch.

See? He doesn’t really sound like he has a major axe to grind, it sounds like In Touch Weekly just found him and asked him a bunch of questions, and he bitched for a minute and it was out of system. He sounds over it – and if he’s take on Kat is true, then… it’s probably just what Jesse deserves. Chuckle.
UPDATE: In Touch Weekly & Hollywood Life are pushing a story about Kat “looking pregnant”. First of all, I don’t see it. Second of all, they’ve only been dating a few weeks. Gossip Cop rejected the story.

Nikki Sixx was taped by some paps last week mentioning his disdain towards Kat, how she just told him they “needed space” and started dating JJ. Yet Kat plays it off on twitter saying everyone gets along. Oliver is spot on. I wouldn’t be surprised if the argument with Ami on Miami Ink was just fabricated so she could start drama and get her own show.
She’s talented and doesn’t need to go down this path, idiot.
He was on Miami Ink a few times when he would come up and visit her when she was on the show and he was a real nice guy. He never wanted to be on any of the shows and from what I could understand their marriage broke up because he didn’t want anything to do with LA Ink and she broke it off with him.

@ LindaR- how do *you* tell if someone is clean or not? Do you run a fingernail over them and see if you get dirt under it? If a person, inked or not, is so filthy that their skin is dark- honey, you know if they haven’t showered yet.
I really don’t get why we all get our knickers in a knot when someone’s personal aesthetic (in Kat Von D’s case, for example, multiple tats) don’t mesh with our own. Chances are if you have double-sleeves or facial tattoos, you aren’t doing it because you like a band or whatever. It takes a lot of dedication, time, research, money and forethought to be that inked up.
Are tattoos everyone’s cup of tea? No. But here’s a little secret– you aren’t legally required to get one! Crazy, right?!?

The tattoo hate is getting out of control. As someone with a few, and a lover of tattoo art – stop being such judgmental bigots. Tattoos are highly personal, and yes some people get random shit for dumb reasons they’ll regret in a few years, but who are any of you to say someone is trashy for having tattoos that possibly have deep, personal meaning to them? Or that represent a time in their life that’s important? All of my tats are very special to me and it really irks me that people pass judgment so quickly on something that doesn’t affect/have anything to do with them? It’s just so bigoted, but because tattooing is still slightly taboo, it goes unnoticed and often times supported. Grow up people, tattoos don’t make you trash. Being trash makes you trash.
And Oliver is a good guy. I’ve been to Elm Street Tattoo a few times (I live in Dallas), and have met most of the artists, including Oliver. He really loved Kat and she cheated on him and kicked him to the curb. Almost immediately she was dating someone new. And Nikki Sixx said Kat asked for space and only days later she’s boo’d up with Jesse James. She’s the kind of woman that can’t be without a man, and every man is “the love of her life,” until she meets the next “love of her life.” Honestly, I think they deserve each other. Kat is an immensely talented artist and has a real chance to use her celebrity as a platform for promoting heavily tattooed people as being just as normal as everyone else, but instead she’s busy screwing around and making herself look like a fool. Way to go, Kat.

Kat was very pretty until she started in with the plastic surgery. Now she’s got a hollywoodfunkyface. Kat is talented, and I used to think she had a certain charm, but I don’t like the way she is flaunting this relationship with Jesse James so soon after what he did to Sandra. It is in such poor taste, and very insensitive. She is really screwing up here and she is going to be hurt by this. I don’t think this hook-up will last more than three months, tops.
JJ’s body language in all the photos seems to indicate he is indifferent to her and not happy. Jesse James is an old, ugly, beady-eyed goon, and the teen gangsta attire makes him look like a big dumb clown.
It only takes a couple of seconds to get pregnant. I don’t think she is, I can see were they are coming from though. I think its a beer pudge. Switch to light….. Hopefully you aren’t a cheater Kat. I used to watch her show and have read some of the ex’s comments. Orbie, that rock guy, said she called him the “love of her life” and wanted to get married. Then she dumped him. He tweeted about it and said she was a total psycho. Nikki Sixx said she was calling him the love of her life for two years. Then she dumped him and within minutes she’s “so in love” with Jesse James. It seems to be a pattern with her.
But, I really do think she wants to put herself in the spotlight for her show. Being the girl who dates Jesse right after the Sandra mess would give her way more fame than being with Nikki Sixx. Just a matter of good business for her.
As for Sandra, I bet this stupidity confirms her decision to dump him. She deserves better. And she really handled herself like a class act. I bet she’s laughing her ass off at Jesse, knowing he’s being used. 🙂
My tattoos mean a lot to me- I designed them all (and quite a few people have had my artwork permanently inked too) and each one is there for a personal and important reason.
It’s so offensive when people think I’m ‘trash’ because I have these permanent marks of my individual growth and personality. I judge people on their utterances, and going by that there’s far more plain skinned trash posting here than there is tattooed. It’s a shame for them- what they dislike about me is only skin deep. What I dislike about them is all the way to the bone.
Except for him looking so very miserable, they really do seem like a match made in Trailer Trash Heaven.

Regarding this sensitive and thorny tattoo issue: Some people think tattoos are trashy, some people don’t. It all depends on how you were raised, what you were taught about taste and appearance, etc. We are all entitled to our own opinions. Neither camp is going to convince the other one that their opinion is right, so why bother trying.

Tattooed people are not trashy freaks. Way to stereotype the whole lot of us, folks. 🙂 Tattooing may not be your cup of tea, but it is an art form for many ethnic cultures and groups of people. The Polynesian people consider their tattoos spiritual parts of their identity. Tattoos are not just skin decoration for them. And, people often get tattoos which really mean something to them. My boyfriend has a tattooed pic of his little sister who died in a car accident. They were very close and it was a way to comemorate her. So, many people have tattoos, not just reality show wanna=bes, bikers, or horny sailors. Time to move into the 21st Century and stop being so darn judgmental. 🙂

Heck she wore a vial of blood around her neck for a while there, and everyone seems to elevate her skinny ass to the highest pedestal. Tattoos don’t make people trashy, people make people trashy.

I’ve watched Kat since her Miami Ink days. I used to think she was cool, but I’ve noticed she burns everyone close to her. Remember Pixie? When Pixie quit the show she said they’d been best friends for 5yrs and Kat had never been to her house. This season Corey, her “rock”, quit and she can’t see her fault in that situation either. I’ve lost count of the celebrity boyfriends. Something is definitely foul about her.

Cosign. My tats are important to me. My Type O tattoo was for my friend Pete and his band, and it’s the only band tat I have (and it’s small). My little LMG tat on my ankle is in honor of me and my sisters. The Alpha and Omega embedded in the crown of thorns around my wrist (the one Kat did) is in reference to my faith. And my newest one is in memory of Pete, who passed away a few months ago (it’s a little P.R. on the inside of my wrist). I’m contemplating getting another one or getting the PR one embellished a bit to join with the crown of thorns.

I appreciate the support, thank you! I know my little “rant” probably came off to some people as a hugely-inked defensive person…but I’m not. I only have 2 small tattoos that can easily be covered up. I get stared at, but it’s because of hereditary scars and birthmarks I cannot control. I view my tattoos as a choice– they are something I was in complete control of and images I wanted on my body. My best friends are heavily tattooed, and I would trust them with my future childrens lives.
Basically, my opinion is– tattoos are just an expression of the control we have over our own bodies. They don’t make us trashy, they don’t make us “different”. In many ways a well-thought-out tattoo shows the complete sobriety of the person who got it.Those who dismiss tattoos may see us as flippant, but we understand completely what we are subjecting our bodies to. It costs a lot of money. It takes a lot of inspiration and dedication. And yes, it f*cking *hurts*. We who get tattooed are not stupid. We are willing to put up with the pain and, yeah, some of the boneheaded comments we might get. I don’t ask the non-inked to accept those who are. Just don’t be so close-minded to think we’re all “trashy”. Hey, were posting on Celebitchy, right? We gotta have some class!
And for the record, I’m not a fan of Kat Von Dee. She kicked to the curb one of Roy Orbison’s sons, and Roy is a God in my Rockabilly world.

In many posts regarding Jesse James, there have been comments that “tattoos are so trashy,” “Ugh, tattoos are for losers,” “how do you know if someone is clean or not when they have tats all over their bodies. Do you go by smell?” etc. It may not all be in this posting, but it’s in pretty much any thread dealing with Jesse James.
I apologize for my comment about JJ and Kat’s style and the “…but whatcha gonna do with all them tattoos” part. I’m glad people spoke up about their tattoos and how they feel the “tattoo hate” was/is getting out of control. I will keep this in mind and think better of saying anything about anyone’s tattoos. Truth is, I am not feeling judgmental about someone getting one or many tattoos. I just don’t like JJ or Kat — they seem so arrogant/narcissistic-personality-disordered.

It seems that Miss von D can’t stay in a relationship very long. Maybe she’s bored very fast. I doubt that she knows what’s real love if every fu** buddy is promptly her “soulmate” and whatnot, she most likely had lots of guys eek.
Jesse seems bipolar or something. You see him smiling in some pictures then looking pissed in others. What’s his problem? If he played his cards right and behaved like a gentleman and manned up for the sake of his children, who knows what could have happened down the line between him and Sandra. let’s see. she had an affair while she was married to oliver. she cheated on her ex-fiancee with nikki sixx, and left obi (the ex-fiancee) for sixx. then she turns down sixx’s invitation to go on the road with him and a couple days later shows up at her art gallery opening with jesse james on her arm, and within a couple weeks confirms they are in a relationship. methinks she’s probably a chronic cheater as well…
