Kirstie Alley announced on Twitter that she’s lost 50 pounds since she premiered her questionable Scientology-based weight loss program and short-lived reality show, Kirstie Alley’s Big Life, this March. I was hoping that Kirstie’s show was canceled, but it turns out it was canceled after one season by its original network, A&E, but got picked up by Lifetime for a second season. So Kirstie isn’t going away anytime soon. Along with losing 50 pounds, Kirstie seems to have regained her smug sense of self confidence. While it’s clear that the photo she tweeted of herself surrounded by men (above) is heavily Photoshopped, there’s no faking that bitch face. Kirstie is getting her body back and she’s nastier than ever. It’s like the angle of her sneer increases as her weight decreases.
Kirstie Alley is back at a lower weight, thanks in part to her reality show ‘The Big Life.’
“I’ve lost over 50 lbs…and I’m having the time of my of my life…30 more to goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,” she tweeted on Wednesday.
Earlier this year, Kirstie admitted she recently tipped the scales at 230 pounds. She weighed just 143 when she appeared on Oprah in a bikini in 2006 and now she’s starting to look slim again.

How much do you want to bet that all of those dudes are Scientology goons? Kirstie claims to have done that photoshoot in Italy with Italian guys. There’s a Celebrity Scientology Center in Florence, so I would guess she wasn’t far from there.
I don’t know what to say about this woman except to hope that she goes far away. At least we didn’t have to put up with her on Dancing With the Stars this season. You know that a celebrity’s career is sh*t when Bristol Palin, The Situation and Audrina Patridge are more popular.

Kirstie, here’s a thought: try a bit of reflecting on the emotional turmoil that leads you to shovel food down your throat. Continuing the yo-yo dieting is not only damaging to your body it erodes whatever self esteem that you may have left.

@Embertine…EXACTLY. Gaining weight and losing it, then gaining it, then losing it…it is so dangerous. It puts a strain on your heart. It’s great that she lost the weight, but how many times has she done it? Keep it off, then I would give her a big high five!

I agree with everyone that says there is no way she was 143 lbs. on Oprah. She is 5’7″. So am I. I know what 143 looks like on this height. She was at least 30-40 lbs. more than that. Celebrities must think the rest of us are stupid. Why else lie about weight, plastic surgery etc. Either that or they are stupid and believe all the minions they surround themselves with that are telling them that, of course, their fans will believe that, at 50 years old, they don’t have any wrinkles.

There is something up with this new weight loss. She hasn’t taken a picture unless she is covered up from the chest down. Also, when did it become painful to look at her eyes? It wasn’t like that in her Cheers years. Now it’s like she’s been poked in the eyes with a chopstick or something and it makes me cringe to see them.
In the bottom photo. Is it me or does her hand look a bit too manly and just… big? Looks like a hamhock. She is one of those well known yoyo dieters, so in another year or so she’ll be shoveling down the hohos. Till then, I’ll buy some stock in Little Debbie while it’s low.

Guys, I am agreeing with the rest of the post(s) that this may have been photoshopped. Where is her bottom half? It’s almost like she was cut and paste into that photo.
Sadly I think her whole career has become about gaining and losing weight. Which is a shame because the extreme yo-yoing isn’t good for her, and at one point she had a great acting career. She’s still a pretty woman, but I wish she’d ditch the bottle blonde and go back to brunette like she was on Cheers.

After she gained that weight back, I read an interview with her where she said during that, she had a whole home gym installed in her living room, and once she hit her goal weight, she had it packed into the garage and never touched it. Well…duh. Of course she gained it back!

It’s a long table. She’s not standing behind it, she is lying on top = no legs. Still, the picture is as misleading as myspace/facebook profile pictures. It’s easy to make yourself appear thinner if you don’t actually show your body.

Yeah Kirstie weighed (at least) about 300 Lbs and when she appeared on Oprah there’s no way she was 143 looked more like 165/170 & she only did front shots never turned around & was wearing a body stocking and some kind of filmy robe. Then she put it all back on. And if she has dropped 50 Lbs (good for her) then why hide it behind a table?
She is crazy!!! and cheap too, I saw her at a TJMaxx in Wichita KS one christmas shopping for her family. There was a huge line behind her, not because they wanted to see her, but because she had the cashier check on a price for her, I guess she couldn’t afford to pay two extra bucks for some shitty gifts.
