Britney Spears stepped out over the weekend sporting what looked like new small colorful tattoos on her neck. These are probably permanent as they look exactly like the other small tattoos Britney has all over, none of which are as noticeable as her latest additions. She looks to have added some flowers and/or butterflies. The new ink may be Britney’s way of establishing her independence after learning that her father’s conservatorship would continue for the time being. Radar is reporting that it’s likely that the conservatorship will end in as soon as three months. That sounds speculative, though, and we’ll have to see.
In related news about Britney, she’s being sued by a former nanny for unpaid wages from over three years ago. A woman claims she’s owed over $35,000 for one month’s work for Britney, after which she quit. That sounds really generous for a nanny. Here’s TMZ’s report:

Ferial Zaltash claims Britney hired her as a personal assistant and nanny to her children in September, 2007. Zaltash claims she resigned a month later.
For that month, Zaltash claims Spears owes $35,202 for nanny and personal services. The suit claims Zaltash made a demand for payment but Brit refused.
Zaltash also wants $19,940 for penalties for unpaid wages and overtime.

How does a combination nanny and personal assistant rate pay of over $35,000 a month? That’s $420,000 a year. I tried to find out how much celebrity personal assistants are paid, and in NY, Indeed.com lists the average pay for a “Celebrity Executive Personal Assistant Household Manager” at $110,000. In LA the same position earns an average $88,000 a year. That’s still a lot of money. Maybe Britney realized that she could easily hire a separate nanny and personal assistant for less than this one woman was asking for. She could also throw in a security guard or two for that price.
Britney is back in the studio, and TMZ reports that she’s already finished three songs for her next album. She also has a lot of offers on the table, according to TMZ, after her successful turn on Glee. I guess a polished appearance on television can go a long way towards cleaning up the typical image she presents in paparazzi photos, i.e. trash-E. It’s like I almost didn’t comment that she’s wearing a hot pink lace bra under a dirty beige tank top paired with too short cutoffs, a giant western style belt, high heel wedges and unkempt hair. This looks pretty normal for her. Doesn’t she match perfectly with her boyfriend too?

Are you sure these aren’t just doodles her kids drew on her?! If she actually put these on permanently, then I don’t think she is ready to be in charge of herself, let alone her kids. I’m surprised she hasn’t had something idiotic tatoo’d on one of them!

I disagree with those figures. I guess it’s who you are working for, but I live in Marin County, CA, and the going rate for such a position is WELL over 100k a year, plus benefits, room and board. That would be for an A lister. Ironically, B and C and D lister “help” get paid more. It’s a weird bragging rights system out here, where the more you pay for something, the higher up you (think you) are considered on the uppity chain. SO STUPID!
Also, I don’t think those tats are real, because being under a conservatorship is just that. You can’t do ANYTHING except eat (often monitored), sleep (see above) and go to the bathroom without permission from the conservator. Think of it like being 3 years old, and that will give you an idea.
I could be wrong, but they look like fake tattoos her kids put on her. I guess we’ll know soon enough.

Here is my question about that mess. WHY does she need a weave for such relatively short hair? Can someone explain this to me?
I really hope they are temporary. I know it’s hypocritical, as I have several tats myself, but any time I see someone with a neck tat, my first thought is “TRASHY!”

I really think the tattoos are fake. The black outline would be more dominant than what is shown. She just probably ganked some of her kids temp tattoos and threw them on her neck to try to be hardcore.
