This will be a rental for me, if at all. The other Scream movies were awful IMHO. Wes Craven hasn’t made a good film in years.

i love scream movies, but hope this one isn’t just a shitty edited version of a good script with currently popular stars as fillers.

I had no idea about Tyler Perry, that is just awful. Is there anything truly worse than sexual and physical abuse inflicted on children.
It really pisses me off, when people argue that smacking a child is fine as a punishment, seriously you smack an adult and that is assault but you do it to a child who can’t defend themselves and its punishment!
I did like the shorter video they presented at the Scream Awards – but hells yeah Im still gonna see it. How can you not? lol

I loved the other Scream movies so I will see this one also even though it doesn’t look as good.
That last clip in Scream 4 made me laugh so hard for some reason. I wonder if Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell are really in this or are they just doing cameos. I like Kieran Culkin and Neve Campbell (why hasn’t she aged?) so I’ll probably see it just for them.
Tyler Perry had tremendous courage to do what he did on Oprah. Did I want to hear the horrible details? No- and that is the problem. We as a society need to stop just calling it “child molestation” and turning our heads away. We need to bear witness to this abuse and realize the horror of it. Get disgusted. Get angry. Force the defense attorneys to watch those tapes. Anyone who commits these crimes with photographic or DNA proof should be EMASCULATED. No, not just castrated. Take the whole thing off.
This has to STOP. Maybe it’s time we became a little less civilized when it comes to punishment.
Tyler, I cried for you. What you did on that show was one of the bravest things I have ever witnessed, and your honesty helped millions of people. You are a miraculous man.
I love the original scream movies so I will watch this one and just cross my fingers that it’s decent.
