Tila Tequila is a moron of unrivaled proportions. The pint-sized “model/actress/whatever” – who is supposedly just gay for pay on her show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila is claiming credit for all the hard work done by thousands of gay rights advocates and legislators. Tila says that her show is why gay marriage was legalized in California. Because we all know how influential some MTV second-string reality show that no one’s ever heard of really can be.

MTV’s Tila Tequila, who rose to reality star fame as a bisexual girl looking for love, says she is responsible for the historic legalization of gay marriage in California. The “Shot At Love” star believes her reality show has influenced the sweeping changes about to take affect [sic] throughout the nation’s most populous state.

“It is because of me. I definitely think (my show) has helped the movement,” Tequila told Us Weekly at the Hollywood premiere of “The Love Guru” on Wednesday. “A Shot At Love” pits men and women vying for Tequila’s affection against each other in a series of challenges designed to help her find the man or woman of her dreams.

“Before it came out, everyone was still a little apprehensive about (same sex relationships),” she said. “Then they realized, ‘Wow, everyone is really into this stuff, and it is fine.’ The next thing you know, (gay marriage) is legal.”

Who knew so much moron could fit into such a tiny package? Apparently the thousands of people who worked tirelessly for years, taking their cases through the courts, protesting and picketing, and working on new legislation – they didn’t count for squat. You’ll note that Tila didn’t say “It is partly because of me.” She said it was because of her.

But let’s just say for argument’s sake that Tila Tequila is legendarily stupid. Okay I guess that’s not much of an argument. Anyway she’s legendarily stupid, and meant to say that she just helped bring attention to gay marriage. How could a show that is easily the most embarrassing thing on television have a thing to do with bring about massive, progressive social change? That girl needs to pull her apple-sized head out of her ass and go make out with a mongoose or something. Or a mirror. Either way, it’d look like she was kissing a mongoose.
