You can tell the gossip has slowed down after this morning’s story cavalcade when I’m covering something about Kendra Wilkinson. As a matter of fact, this whole story is rather tedious. Above is the December cover for Playboy, with Kendra as the cover girl. What’s this about? Didn’t Kendra say that she wasn’t interested in posing for Playboy again now that she was a wife and (single!) mother? Well, as it turns out, the photos Playboy is using are from two years ago, before she had baby Hank.
Hey guys! So I wanted to clear something up really quick! A lot of you saw on my show that I was struggling to decide whether to pose for Playboy again or not. I AM on the December cover of Playboy but it wasn’t from a recent shoot. The photos are from a shoot I did 2 years ago when I was still living in the mansion. I’m flattered to be on the cover again and as you all know Playboy has a very special place in my heart! I just wanted you guys to know I didn’t recently pose.

In and of itself, it’s not so bad – Kendra didn’t want to pose again, so she and Hef came to some kind of understanding and she gave her permission for the mag to use old photos. But here’s my question: is this all about Kendra not being comfortable with her post-pregnancy body? She has every right to not pose again – that’s her choice. But it bothers me that she would authorize older photos of herself and that people would think “Oh, she looks great after having a baby!” Or, that people would think “Yeah, they’ve got to use old photos because her body sucks after giving birth.” It all feels very anti-motherhood.

she had said she wouldn’t not pose nude again after baby hank. Not sure how that figures into the whole sex tape thing.
and she did put it out there that these are old photos. if anything it’s more irresponsible of playboy not to note that. (apologies if they did)
I don’t see the problem with it. She didn’t want to pose again. Playboy wanted pictures of her. She said ok to using old photos.
She didn’t pretend they were current photos. She came out and told the truth about them. I have alot of respect for Kendra for saying that.

I don’t see what’s wrong with her being uncomfortable about her postbaby body. Many women are. It’ll take alot longer of her to get back to the shape she wants.
On her show Sunday night, she was actually in the middle of a photo shoot at home, when Hank walked through the door. She had not told him that she’d decided to do the shoot, so he was a little taken aback when he walked in and saw what was going on. He asked to speak to her alone and told her that he understood that she had a life posing for Playboy before they were together, and that was okay. But her body now, after baby Hank, should be for his eyes only and he hoped she wouldn’t do the shoot. She said she wanted to do the shoot because she said she still wanted to feel sexy after being a mom and he basically told her she was and will always be sexy to him so she agreed not to do the shoot.
I suspect their compromise was to use the old pictures since they were before baby Hank.
I think they are a cute and loving couple that appear to have a lot of respect for each other.
I use to like her, but after seeing her show this past Sunday, I look at her in a different light. And its not because of her Playboy stuff, its her whole attitude! She’s very selfish and extremely insecure! She acted as though the world would come to and end if she couldn’t take her clothes off. I’m tossing her in the same bin as kim k,,,,trash bin!

1) She probably signed away any rights to her Playboy pics, so they can more than likely use them with or without her consent.
2) Her breasts (and her whole pose) look painful–like if you barely tap one it’ll explode. Yuk. And no, I’m not jealous: I nursed 1 child and am 9mos pregnant with another, so I’ve had my fair share of huge, painful looking breasts. 😀
That seems stupid on Kendras’ and Playboys’ part. Why show photos of how someone used to look unless they are ancient now and it’s a tribute or lying about something (like plastic surgery).
And yeah, it seems dishonest – not everyone will read that it is an old picture.
I have a friend who was October 2002 and from I understand from her, she has no control over those photo what so ever. If playboy takes a photo of you or even if you send in a photo of yourself, Playboy can keep them and post them however they choose.
But you know Kendra isn’t going to protest this: its like biting that hand that fed you for years.
What happened to the fun loving girl from Girls Next Door? She has become an ego maniac with no sense of herself.
@Scarlet Vixen – I agree with you. Her breasts are so large that she looks fat to me. They are too big for her proportion, it’s one thing if you are naturally large breasted but that isn’t that case for her. I am not jealous either, having been an athlete all my life I would never want breasts to get in my way. I am 8 months pregnant now and the novelty of actually having a C Cup wore out with in a few weeks. I want my A cups back.
I don’t understand what he sees in her. He is very handsome and his son is a beautiful baby. He’s to good for her. I think she is cute and funny buy come on, he could do so much better.
has anyone heard the sound bite/clip from her new promos where she says (something like) “I wanna live my life for me!” ?
um. she is a mom now. shouldn’t she be living her life for her sweet baby boy?
I feel sorry for baby Hank when he has to explain his Mother’s history..will be a sense of shame for him. Poor kid.

I don’t think men and teenagers who are jerking off to playboy are thinking ANYTHING about mothers or birthing babies.
Yes she is dumb as dirt but seriously Playboy’s readership has been in a continous downslide these last 10-15 years the younger generation has moved on; if i recall MM was on the first cover; today’s actresses/d listers are meh – even 90s supermodels were better. Who is really clamoring to see this average girl.

Kendra looks fine…better than fine…the real issue here is Kendra’s belief that the only way she can make money or get attention is through her body…she doesn’t think or focus on much else these days…
She’s always whining about her body. What is she, 24? I’m sorry but you can bounce back after having a baby at 23. She has some real body issues. I have friends that posed nude after having kids in their 30s, so she needs to get over it. and let’s be realistic, the playboy ‘shopping is ridic, so they will get rid of anything she doesn’t like in the photos anyway.
Doesn’t playboy usually have the playboy bunny icon hidden on it’s cover each month? I tried looking, but I couldn’t find it. Does anyone else see it?
