These are some new photos of Christina Aguilera and her new boyfriend Matt Rutler, in London over the weekend. They’ve been photographed together before – this is just the first time we’ve had access to photos of them. I kind of love the way he’s sucking in his cheeks for the cameras. Is anyone else getting a “he’s her new gay BFF” vibe?

But no, they’re sleeping together. Allegedly. Here’s a peeve of mine – when a wife cheats on her husband, and then proceeds to dump said husband for the jumpoff, she doesn’t even get half the hate as a single woman who sleeps with a married man. So it is with Christina Aguilera. She seemingly dumped her husband – who was by most accounts a nice guy and a very stabilizing force in her life – for this jumpoff, Matt Rutler, who was some kind of low-level production type on Burlesque. Of course, Christina is also supposed to have cheated on Jordan Bratman with any number of people, including many, many women. So why this Matt Rutler person? And why is he now her official purse-holder and “romantic date night” companion?

Christina Aquilera appeared to need the steadying hand of her new boyfriend Matthew Rutler in the early hours of this morning after a night out at London’s Mahiki nightclub. The Dirrrty singer is in the city for a performance on the finale of the hit British talent show, The X Factor. But seems the star wasn’t too concerned about being well rested for the live show and didn’t leave the popular celebrity haunt until 2am.

Christina, 29, clearly felt the need to let her hair down when she arrived in London, having been busy promoting new movie Burlesque, in which she stars with the original Cher.

On Thursday night, Christina was in Madrid for the Spanish premiere of the film, which tells the story of a smalltown girl who ends up working as an erotic dancer in Los Angeles.

She met Ruttler on the set of the movie, where he worked as her personal assistant. And her new beau has been there to support the star ever day this week, in what’s been a most trying time for the Beautiful star.

Earlier in the week, nude photos had emerged on the internet of Christina, posing inside what appeared to be her walk-in closet wearing just body jewellery and nipple coverings. It’s believed the photographs were hacked from an email account belonging to Christina’s stylist.

So… it’s official, I guess. Christina has a boy-toy jumpoff and we’re just supposed to think “oh, good for her.” Poor Bratman.
