Ah, yes. It’s that time of the year when the Golden Raspberries come to take a dump on everyone during the awards season. This year’s Razzie nominations are out, just one day ahead of the Oscar nominations announcement tomorrow. Are there any cross-overs this year? Well… no. Not unless you think that Sparklepants Pattinson is doing Oscar-caliber work (hint: he’s not). Anyway, it looks like this year’s Razzies will have an excellent girl fight throw down between Jennifer Aniston (The Bounty Hunter), Miley Cyrus (The Last Song) and Kristen Stewart (for life). Honestly, I think the only one of these that I’ve seen is SATC 2, and now I feel bad for admitting that I enjoyed it so much more than the first one. But yeah… I’m glad that I can’t even work up the energy to rent these crappy films.

Stewart’s acting makes me ill that alone should make her win this since she thinks she is award worthy.
The Bounty Hunter was kinda cute, and made a ton of money, more than three times production cost..I think maybe Kristen Stewart.

Come on people you think Kristen Stew worst actress then Megan Fox because Megan Fox is really really REALLY bad “actress” if you can even call her that. In Eminem/ Rihanna video was just painful to watch because she was so terrible I mean she had no lines and still was bad. I didn’t think The Bounty Hunter was that bad. I watched it this weekend and was entertained just like I would be from any rom-com.
KS acting is painful. Watching her suttering, eyerolling, loud breathing, never closing her mouth and the same few poses are tiring.
I think this nominees list is kind of uninspired. Mostly a mix of the obvious cheap shots and super easy targets.
Kutcher is singled out in Valentine’s Day… why not the ENTIRE cast in Valentine’s Day, IMO the worst movie of the year. I would have liked to see Julia Roberts nominated for worst supporting actress for that movie. She was terrible. Speaking of, what about Eat Pray Love?
What about that When in Rome movie with Kristin Bell & Josh Duhamel? I mean Will Arnet & Jon Heder (both of whom I love) were embarrassingly bad … even Angelica Houston was bad in that Rome movie? Or what about GOOP in that country movie… What about Angelina in the Tourist?
Point being, piling on the likes of Aniston, Stewart, Pattinson, Kutcher, etc just seems lazy and boring.

omg I was changing the channel this weekend and saw a little piece of second movie of the Twilight series. I seriously never felt so much aversion for seeing two people in a scene. The way KS bites her lips, blinks and shakes her head every 2 minutes along with her never-changing monotonous tone are so extremely annoying!!! And the way RP speaks with his head up slightly turned to one side, without showing no emotion whatsoever also contribute to make these movies unbearable.

I actually like K-stew (in non Twilight roles) and dislike Aniston but I had to sit through Eclipse and she was horrible in it her wig was embarassing and K-stews gestures were so contrived. I think Aniston is one-note but she isn’t a terrible actress she just has no range she isn’t worthy of a Razz alone but as I stated earlier her and GB deserve worst couple Razz. My second vote would be Meagan Fox because they apparently had to edit her part so much in JH to make the film even passable.
Ha-ha-ha! I saw the previews to “Bounty Hunter”, and it was all about Jen-Jen’s ass (with a little cleavage thrown on).
I don’t get her box office grosses, because ALL her movies, (at least since the first few when she did the crossover thing and reviewers and moviegoers were amazed she could act at all), have been abysmal.
I saw the “Derailed” DVD (2005) at the library (I can get lots of stuff there-free-try it!-btw, I’m in library school), a movie where she starred with Clive Owen. The thought of Jen Jen doing sex scenes with My Man Clive-I just couldn’t bear it. DON’T TOUCH MY CLIVE!!!
That might have been a decent movie considering her costar, but I will never know.

I’ll agree with most of these. I actually sat through the Bounty Hunter (it was free) during a sick day, and it was pretty bad.
Can they all win? Right off the bat I want Sex and the City to win. I was actually a minor fan of the show in that I’d watch it if it was on tv and night and I was rathed amused. I saw the first movie at my friend’s house and I’m serious when I say I’d rather have been watching the Transformers and I freaking hated that movie.
I would LOVE for Twilight to win. Come on people, it’s a terrible fucking movie and she is a BAD actress, the only reason any one went to see those movies if for the hot half naked boys or because they are currently 13.

Very few people, at least A and B-listers show up to get the award. Halle Berry did for Catwoman. It was big news because such a big star never goes to the Razzies. She even brought her Oscar. Sandra has a great sense of humor so it’s not shocking that she went. Plus she was going to get an Oscar the next night. I don’t think Jennifer will show because she really wants to be a considered a movie actress and taken seriously. I don’t think Jennifer is a bad actress. She’s just there, being vanilla. She’s not remarkable but not cringeworthy like Jessica Alba and Ashton Kutcher are.

@tramekap: actually, at the time she started dating Brad in 1998, the Friends cast were only making 75,000 per episode. (Brad was making $10 million per movie since “Seven” in ’96, and by 2001 he made $30 million from “Ocean’s 11” back-end deal.)
They made $1 million per episode for the last 2 season from 2002-04, when she was married to Brad, look it up.
Most of her money came after Friends ended when each cast member received $100 million each with $25 million a year for 5 years (2004-2009) from “Friends” syndication.

These awards shows are just like Homecoming in high school. The “it” crowd gets to go to the big party because they are popular (actually, because their studios put the most money and man-hours behind their ad campaign for an Oscar nom), and the “losers” get nominated for Razzies. If EITHER of these awards were truly handed out on merit, then Clooney would have been nominated for a Razzie, not an Oscar, for his wooden performance in Michael Clayton. But the Academy has a boner to give an Oscar to the whole homecoming court, including Brad, Angelina, Clooney and their ilk. It’s entertaining, but it’s all just a big studio production.
And it was easy for Saundra Bullock to pick up her Razzie in person. She knew she was going to win the Oscar. And what? It was going to be MORE humiliating than having her tattooed trash husband cheat on her with a Nazi?
Jen Aniston should get a special award for the duck lips in Bounty Hunter. She couldn’t even pronounce some of her lines and they left it in the final cut. When your lips are more important than delivering your lines it’s time to retire.

Whoa! What alternate universe are you living in? Jennifer only made $1 million per episode in the last season of Friends – like the other 5 co-stars. Brad has made way more money than Jennifer in his career.
Brad and Jennifer never co-mingled their income or assets while married and that is why there was nothing to split during the divorce except their main house and Jennifer’s minority share in Brad’s production company.
