Susan Sarandon has agreed to play peace activist Cindy Sheehan in an upcoming TV movie.

The movie has no script yet, but Sheehan has spoken with Sarandon, who is also active in the peace movement, about the role. Sheehan lost her son in the illegal war against Iraq, and has said “I found my life’s work in his death.” She has spoken in front of Congress and gained notoriety by camping out in front of Bush’s vacation home. We look forward to seeing the upcoming film.
