These are new photos of Kate Bosworth yesterday in LA. You know how we were looking at those new photos of Candice Swanepoel and calling her recent weight loss “radical” and “horrifying”. Well, for my money, Candice’s legs and figure looked WAY healthier than Kate Bosworth’s, and The Bos doesn’t even have the excuse of “I’ve been really busy” or “It’s hard for me to keep on weight.” The Bos doesn’t do much other than call the paparazzi on herself and start rumors about what job she’s about to get.
Speaking of the latest Bos rumor, according to Deadline and Kate’s publicist, she’s “reading” for one of the two female parts in the completely unnecessary remake of Total Recall. The thing is being made with Colin Farrell in the lead role (the one originated by Arnold Schwarzenegger). Kate is up for the Sharon Stone role – the bitchy fake-wife. Diane Kruger was rumored to be up for the role too, which made me laugh because why wouldn’t you hire Diane over The Bos? But Diane didn’t want to read for the role. Do you want to see Kate’s bag of bones and smug face act opposite Colin Farrell? Won’t that make you kind of nauseous?
Also, and this is just a side note observation – remember last week, Us Weekly printed a rumor going around that Kate and Alex Skarsgard were on the verge of splitting or something? Well, look who’s clinging! There’s been nothing since then. Kate has attached herself and she’s not letting go.

She’s thin but she actually looks pretty good. Her arms have definition and she doesn’t look bony like when she was involved with Bloom. I think that VS model is much thinner.

I don’t know much about them, but that just seems to be the script. But I will take it that others know their relationship dynamics better than a casual observer.

You can tell when someone is too skinny when their chest bones really stick out. I don’t see her chest bones sticking out exaggeratedly. She’s definitely thin, yes, but not hideously. I think she looks good here.

Yeah, I’m thinking she’s clinging until she hears about this role. I doubt she’ll get it. They should put Biel in the “Laurie” role and be done with it. There’s no one that’s going to buy KBos kicking anyone’s ass without breaking some bones.
I want Michelle Rodriquez for the Melina role. She and Colin worked on SWAT & had some chemistry. And she can kick ass convincingly.

I got annoyed with the “she’s clingy” statement, too. how don’t we know he’s the one begging her to stay? And obviously he finds something interesting about her or else he’d have moved on long ago.

I have no idea why the hate, I don’t know what Bosworth did, except according to some, she is not worthy of her man, and why some people think they are qualified judges and matchmakers to say who goes with who…escapes me. Paltrow I understand, I’m not sure what she did either but i still want to punch her face.

Her hair! I agree with everyone else that she doesn’t look crazy thin but it seems to me she totally has the hair of a person with some sort of eating disorder. I never paid attention to her pre-weight speculation so I don’t really know if it was thicker before.
Audrey, I think the negativity comes from her pimping herself out to the paps, attending the opening of an envelope and trying to act the part of Big Movie Star when her last major role was what, seven or eight years ago. Now the only reason people care about her is that she’s dating Skarsgard.
And she’s a lollipop and thinks she’s a fashion icon. No she isn’t.
She’s underweight but I don’t think the angle of these photos show it as much.

I don’t think her legs look that bad here. I’ve seen recent photos of her where they look much worse. When she’s wearing jeans her thighs and legs are the same width.

Her current work situation certainly doesn’t warrant all those pap shots of her. I guess that’s one of those things that makes her annoying IMO: she’s the type of celeb mostly known for who she’s dating and for what she wears. As Lainey says: a Why is. Why is she famous again? For one good movie done almost 10 years ago – and that puts her on covers and gives her headlines still? Annoying!
Does she lighten her hair? I don’t think it looks good with her skin tone, kind of washes her out.

It’s not that I HATE her. Like I’d waste my energy hating a celebrity. But I understand why people dislike her. With her it’s more than being extra skinny. She now pretty much bases her career on it. She flaunts it, shows it off. Designers throw stuff at her because she’s half a sample size and makes sure she’s photographed in the clothes.
To me (and this is really just me) she embodies what is wrong in our culture regarding the image of women. THIS is who my kid will see as a successful woman in a magazine? I think not.
And if this is not way too thin, we have been looking at her emaciated state for much too long because apparently we’re used to it? Legs are not supposed to be getting thinner above the knee.
i don’t care one way or another about her, but i understand why some feel negative toward her is warranted, every one has that someone that they feel that way about, and others think the person is harmless, i feel that way about Jen A., YEAH I WENT THERE, and for the same reasons, fame whores,calling the paps, never met a camera they didn’t like, more famous for who they date,(or claim to be dating)for publicity, capitalize, even use others to stay in the spot light. ugh is right.
I don’t hate her, I she just bothers me and it’d be lovely if she just went away. Has everyone forgotten that she slept with (reportedly) Chris Martin? She got her ass frozen out of the Paltrow/McCartney circle lickity split after that rumour came out. I’d be really surprised if she didn’t because of the freeze out and that Chris Martin said he was going to sue and never did. Also, she reportedly tried like made to get with Jim Sturgess while filming 21. He’s got a long time girlfriend and he denied her ass. She’s long tried associating herself with people who will advance her career without actually doing any of the work herself. It’s annoying and she just reeks of try.
I’m hoping she gets the role and makes Colin her jump off. I don’t like the idea of her with Colin but I’ll take what I can get to get her off my future husband! LOL! JOKING!
Her weight is very much under what it should be. If she looks like this in photography she is much skinnier in person. And her hair – there are not words. Not sure why this is pitched as she’s still clinging – he’s been out and about numerous times in the past week/ten days without her. Almost every day. She has been maybe (publicist-fed) been at Chateau with him once and didn’t hang with him. So the Us Weekly story sounds real. We’ll see…she’ll hang on till something else frees up.

What IS it with the bra straps these days?? All the girls I work with wear these little tops with T-straps, etc, but wear their regular over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders with every one of them. It’s horrid.
As for Kate and Alex, I think he’s quite stuck on her no matter how much Kaiser likes to think she is the one doing the sticking. Guys can be every bit as clingy as women and I speak from personal experience. He might get surly when the paps are around because he suspects that is the only reason she is with him – for the attention!

I don’t think Kate’s ugly, I think she has body issues but she certainly isn’t ugly. My problem with Kate is that she seems to have no boundaries, no moral ones anyway. Putting the cheating with married men and prior drug use aside, let’s focus on her most recent behavior. After one of the Golden Globe parties she was seen not once, but twice, coming on to/trying to kiss Skarsgard’s little brother. We’re not talking an innocent little kiss on the cheek either.
Now, I haven’t been to Sweden in ages, but I think I would remember if it was okay for brothers to share the same girlfriend!
Reverse the situation and put yourself in the scenario, if your boyfriend started coming on to your sister, how would you react? Would you be okay with it and continue the relationship or would you put his butt on the curb?
I think AS has finally had it with her. He has been seen out and about by himself and with friends almost everyday whereas KB has begun her stalking phase. She was in the lobby of the Chateu, while he was at a table with his friends, then she just showed up at Joan’s when he was out to lunch with his friends and he totally ignored her and didn’t even watch as she walked away not smiling. This is just what she did to OB, she loses more weight, starts looking more disgusting than usual and starts showing up uninvited, she has done it before and now it looks like she is doing it again. I really can only hope that he has finally wised up and dumped the famewhore, he deserves so much better, than a self indulgant, unemployed, anorexic, famewhore, coke head, who looks out for herself and doesn’t care who she uses or hurts as long as she gets what she wants. AS deserves sooo much more.
can’t stand her. she’s never proved herself as anything more than fashionable. she hasn’t acted in anything in 3 years and yet she’s being invited to every party going? Come off it. Dating Alex and dressing well are the only things keeping her relevant.
