Yesterday we linked to a story on DListed in which The Situation, that Jersey Shore tool who always goes shirtless and refers to himself in the third person, was getting called out in a series of ranting unintentionally amusing videos recorded by his dad. The Situation’s dad seemed annoyed that his kid wasn’t throwing some of his millions his way, so he made some vague accusations set to creepy mafia type music and promised to put out a tell all book. The guy even started a goofy website complete with a press release and all his videos. The Situation has responded to all of this and says that his dad is just trying to get media attention and that the rest of his family is on his side.
One day after Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s father, Frank, announced he is writing a tell-all book based on his son’s dark past, the 28-year-old Jersey Shore star tells Us Weekly that he is “extremely saddened by his estranged father’s actions.”
Titled Confrontation With Situation, Frank promises the book will be an explosive look at the MTV reality star’s life before he hit it big.
“I’m calling Mike on his sh*t,” Frank says in a press release. “I’ve covered up for Mike his entire life, and when I needed his help, he left me hanging. I think people should know what I know. Hardcore partying, drugs, sex, crime elements, you name it, it’s in there.”
To complement the book, Frank also filmed a series of YouTube videos, where he dissects everything from his son’s Jersey Shore castmates to a purported sex tape involving Mike.
“Some of it is funny, some of it you won’t believe, and underneath it all, well, it’s a hell of a situation, and I think you know what I mean,” Frank says. “Based on what he did to me, my attitude is ‘f*ck the little f*ck,’ and I’m not holding anything back.”
According to the Jersey Shore star’s rep, Frank “has unfortunately decided to go public to garner himself media attention. The Sorrentino family — Marc, Frank, Jr., Melissa, and their mother Linda — remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances.

Aw, this actually made me feel sorry for The Situation, and that’s a real feat. He made something of himself despite being saddled with a dad who’s worse than Michael Lohan, although I guess that remains to be seen.

Can you imagine if your dad was like that? No wonder Mike isn’t giving him any money. He deserves to be cut off.

Wow. Crosses, crucifixes, and double-fisted drinking…is he going to an 80’s party at Vadge’s house?
Does the son have hair plugs? Looking at his father’s hairline, or lack thereof, and the fact that it’s perfectly straight across his forehead makes me think he’s got plugs. And both of them skeeve me out, so, whatever.
I saw the video and the father said he had recommended his son to a friend of his for a job and his son ended up getting a blowjob from a 40 yr old office worker. They were caught in the act and “the situation” filed a sexual harrasment lawsuit against the company. That is why his father was so pissed at him. Plus the fact that he asked for a loan and his son told him to go on welfare. I’m on his father’s side, his son is a prick!
I agree with Bellaluna… Sounds like the tell all will just tell us more of the same baloney we already know about the Jersey Shore Jerks. It’s not like “The Situation” has been cultivating a “Taylor Swift-esque” persona.
Still sucks that his loser of a father will make $ off this. That said, I guess it’s fair. If America wants to make the cast of Jersey Shore dilthy rich for being a bunch of d-bags, then why should this guy get his? It’s like he’s saying “HEY! I am an even BIGGER d-bag than my son, where’s MY check?”

Mike’s a bitch no matter what type of father he had. The way he treats women is a choice. So shallow that I’ll trip.
I watched a couple of his videos, and he seems pretty bitter overall. They’re both pricks and it would not surprise me if The Situation didn’t help his dad/family once he receive a certain level of ‘fame.’ They are not his responsibility so his dad is pretty wrong for expecting it.
I don’t feel sorry for him. He’s an annoying, simple d-bag. He has no talent or use yet he’s getting buckets of money, so why can’t his dad get his, both getting $$ for doing nothing.
I watched the video, it was ridiculous. Total douche. I’ve never watched Jersey Shore but from what I hear and read, it’s apparently horrid. But at least we see where The Situation (ugh) gets it from.
They’re both disgusting. And the son is kind of pathetic this last season, acting like a junior high school kid with ratting people out and so forth. (I am involuntarily subjected to this show, would never choose it for myself.) Disgusting.

Never watched the show and don’t plan to, but the Situation is the skeeviest of the skeevy. So why wouldn’t his dad be the same? Apples tend to hang around the tree.
Is that Pauly D guy as sketchy? He at least seems likeable and appears to actually work (even tho it’s as a DJ) outside the show. But then I’ve never watched it. 🙂
