Here are some newly-released print ads for Jennifer Aniston’s gig with SmartWater. There are so many SmartWater ads with Aniston – I remember the first few campaigns, Aniston was fully clothed, and there was, like, poetry about bottled water as Aniston was seen tossing her hair back. In the past year or so, SmartWater decided to sex it up and Aniston has been seen with less clothes, which I think she enjoys – she loves taking off her kit for photo shoots in general. The above image is the better photo from this latest round, I think. Her body looks great, it’s a cute little outfit, and Aniston’s face is Photoshopped to look like Natalia Vodianova. It’s a lovely pic, but Aniston doesn’t really look like that. Also: why are these images being released now? They were obviously shot months ago, before Aniston’s haircut. Why now? Why this week?
The second image is kind of weird. I’ve never seen a celebrity exit a limo with a dazed look and a bottle of SmartWater in their hand. But sure. Why not? Aniston probably needs to hydrate after doing vodka shots in the back of the limo. Or who knows, the SmartWater bottle could be filled with vodka, like Linnocent fills up her Red Bull cans with… liquid crack, I guess.
By the way, in other Aniston news, I thought this one of the most interesting stories of the week: you know how Aniston is moving to NYC and she bought two huge apartments in the same West Village building that she’s going to turn into one even bigger, two-floor apartment? Well, Aniston purchased the apartments under the name “Norman’s Nest Trust” – Norman is her dog. Her dog owns the apartments. Well, her dog’s trust owns the apartments. Odd. I’m sure there’s a business explanation for it, but that story just amused me.

Honestly: Aniston is so OVER-RATED!!!!!!!! Yes sometimes she can look cute and firm for a 40 something (whose body hasn’t endured motherhood yet, lucky biatch) but there are so many other fresh faced, pretty talents out there! I’m so bored with this broad…just go get artificially inseminated and retire already, girl! And I hate her hair on the red dress pics…was she doing a “solo” on the SUV’s back seat?

The apartment’s not in the dog’s name, LOL! Most celebs buy real estate through a trust, and most of the trusts have odd names like that.

Having a trust is a must, for a very wealthy individual. Usually they have more than one.
Plus a really good trust is the best way to avoid the government from taking huge part of your estate in taxes, upon death.
Neither her dog nor her dog’s trust does not own the apartments. She does. A dog cannot be the executor of a trust, therefore the dog doesn’t have a trust. Also, every trust has a name. If she named it “The Batman Trust” that does not mean it’s actually Batman’s trust.
I think she looks gorgeous ads, but I’m so beyond sick of the photoshopping of everything. I’d have so much more appreciation for real images that look interesting.

Really? Regardless of what they claim? Because I know I wouldn’t — regardless of such generalization. Not in a minute, not in a decade and even if I lived to be a hundred years old (which I really wouldn’t want to happen), I still wouldn’t trade looks with her. Why would I? I’m younger, thinner and my skin hasn’t been affected by smoking (since I don’t smoke). Yes, I’d change a thing or two about my appearance, but nothing dramatic. I do not hate my looks to the point of wanting to trade places with someone else. If we were talking about income and fortunes, then yes, I’d love trade places with her in a heartbeat.
You could have made your point — that she is or that she looks beautiful in these ads — without implying everybody else isn’t. Or that everybody who doesn’t like them is lying.
So she named her trust after her dog? I think it’s sweet; she’s always talked about Norman (which I think it one of the best dog names ever), and he’s got to be a bit long in the tooth now.

Distilled water is bad for the body, even if they add electrolytes. A natural mineral water would be much better.
Plastic bottles are not only harmful to the environment but also bad for anyone’s health because of the phtalates.

Has anyone seen her SmartWater commercial on TV? I ask because I’ve never seen it anywhere but online and I don’t get why they would put this new ad out when to my knowledge they haven’t aired the commercial which was released months ago.

I too question the timing of certain advertisements and announcements that involve Jennifer when Angie is scheduled for movie press coverage. As someone said earlier, her hair is much shorter now.
I could probably appreciate the ad a little more- Aniston is nice looking- had this ad been released next week. I still would have questioned the hair length.

The legal reason is because she doesn’t want to pay New York state residency taxes.
New York requires all residence owners to pay a tax, rich people with multiple homes in New York often set up trusts to avoid this tax. To get around the trusts, NY has taken to investigating the trustees and beneficiaries. My making her dog the beneficiary, the trust is used to “benefit” him and animals are not residences of the state for tax purposes. Viola, legal tax evasion 101.

I’d rather have my privacy, my decency and my sanity. If they’re so great, why are so many of them boozing and drugging and committing suicide and cheating? How is it a publicity stunt to have taken photos for the company you represent MONTHS ago and then having the COMPANY publish the photos in order to sell what you represent? Isn’t that just having an endorsement deal?

smart: because we’re going to make a lot of money out of you convincing you to buy our ordinary bottled water endorsed by a Hollywood celebrity

@antisara the problem is that I can’t think of a 20something talent. There are younger women like Reese Witherspoon and Angelina but they don’t really look younger.
I think Aniston is perfect to sell fitness water and yoga pants and sneakers (much better than Kardassian) and anything related to fitness. Fitness is about her body not her face and she is 42 and looks great from the neck down. She chose to not have children for whatever reason as have I and several of my friends. It is a valid choice.
I will say the Photoshop job is fabulous. She looks beautiful. They gave her a nice nose and the liner/Photoshop combo makes her eyes pop. She almost looks sexy which is something I’ve never seen her do.
Unfortunately, while she does not look old she is not beautiful without Photoshop.

As to Aniston… I know this is the norm nowadays, using Photoshop for everything to the extreme. But if the celeb you hire for these ads isn’t going to look anything like herself after photoshopping anyway, why not save a TON of money & just hire a model?
So I’d call it a photoshop artwork, loosely based on JA. But it is pretty. I’ve never understood why some people think she’s so gorgeous (to begin with). She’s not UNattractive, of course. But I just don’t see it.

I have never understood the popularity of this woman and if the truth be known I am sick to death of the Jennifer/Angelina tug of war….if it even exists, get over it already.I would not use the word beautiful to describe Jennifer…cute/ attractive is fine. In fact she has the type of bone struture that if not photographed at the right angle makes her look like a man in drag.As for physique,we too can look lean and tanned , if we spend our life in a gym with a personal trainer or on a beach in all the best resorts of the world…and have our meals prepared for us every day. As an actress, IMO,her greatest work was Friends and she only has that one character in her…it comes out in every movie she does.So I say she obviously is very lucky and has friends in high places and all the best to her… in what ever it is she does.
That 2nd pic I saw in a mag the other day. Whoever did her eye makeup ought to be fired. It looks like she has been out all night (too much dark eyeshadow under her eyes). Maybe that is the idea the photographer was going for? Otherwise, for a 40ish woman so not a good look.
