The In Touch Weekly team decided to avoid writing a cover story about their pity party mascot for the past six years, Jennifer Aniston, and went with a Brangelina story this week. Sidenote: Us Weekly is the ONLY tabloid running with a “Aniston is a homewrecker” cover story this week – how is this possible?!? Anyway, ITW’s cover story is all about how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally going to get married this year. This September, to be exact. Of course this is all a figment of some editor’s imagination, but I think the wedding plans sound nice, and thinking about Empress Zahara as a flower girl is a great “happy place.”
Brad and Angie decide after years of saying they would never tie the knot to take the plunge, and it’s all for their kids!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have always been open about the fact that they do not feel the need to get married to prove their love — but that is all changing! InTouch reports, “the couple will wed in September, once all the renovations on their sprawling French estate, Chateau Mirval, are done.” What a huge change of heart!
A source tells the magazine, “They want to hold it at the chapel at Miraval, and they’re already making up the list of people to invite. Out of all of their homes, it’s the perfect place for their family and closest friends to come together for a celebration.”
The children will all be involved of course, with Shiloh, Zahara and Vivienne walking down the aisle as flower girls and Zahara particularly excited about helping her mother select a dress! The kids have already started making artwork and decorations to paste in the chapel. Brad’s brother will be best man, Angie’s assistant Holly will be maid of honor, and Angie’s brother James Haven will help conduct the ceremony. And Angelina’s dad will walk her down the aisle, even though they have a contentious relationship.
The dress will be designed by L’Wren Scott. As for the rings, they are being designed with a special message by designer Robert Procop.
On the guest list: Johnny Depp, the Gwen Stefanis, Guy Richie, Bono, Paul Allen. Etc. Brad and Angelina have chosen September 23 as the wedding date because that is the autumnal equinox. A source says: “They both feel that the equinox holds special meaning because it is the day that the Earth is most balanced — the night is as long as the day and the sun’s center is on the same plane as the Earth.”
The mag adds: “Will getting married on the equinox ring in a new age of balance and calm for Brad and Angelina? One can only hope.”

Paul Allen? Johnny Depp? I doubt it. Now, if the guest list included Matt Damon and Marianne Pearl, sure, THAT would be believable. Oh, and now I can’t get the idea of a L’Wren Scott wedding dress out of my head. I love almost everything L’Wren does – she cuts a beautiful, flattering dress, consistently. Angelina could do a lot worse than L’Wren as her wedding dress designer.

They are close to Paul Allen and have rented his villa in the south of France a few years back when they visited De Niro and his family and Bono.
But i don’t beleive they will tell the media if they get married. I however see it be celebrated outside the US.
The reason Aniston is not on the covers this week. PR and of course if you can’t include a Brad/Angie angle it will not sell. That is why she is on the sidebars.. just the way it is.

I think if Brad/Angie get married it will not be the Kardashians or such. And the JPs friends don’t talk. The tabs don’t have an in into that relationship. They have posted the most stupidest stories for YEARs and none are true.

She actually looks really healthy and glowy in that cover story pic. When was that taken? She looks really good there, not tired or gaunt.
HaHa I think if they ever get married they’ll go to a justice of the peace. Angelina has only had casual weddings and I don’t see her inviting half the world, just family so they can keep it extra quiet until afterwards when the media will go crazy for details. I doubt they’ll do it because they seem happy with the way things are now but it would be lovely if it happened right before the Kim Kardashian wedding so that her wedding could become what it deserves to be a small sidebar story.

Brad always opens the door for her when she gets into or out of a car, so it is just being polite and romantic, which is kind of nice.
In Touch is so amusing. They can’t figure this couple out. A couple of weeks ago, he was giving Anniston gifts, now he is madly in love with Angelina and planning a wedding. Of course, this story is re-cycled from when they were in the Seychelles last fall, right down to her brother doing the ceremony. What happened to the wedding in India by the way. I think the reason this couple ignores tabloids is that the crazy stories they make up are so crazy that if you wait a few minutes, the truth will be seen.
But, at least it is a nice story–until next week when Brad and/or Angelina is jealous of his ex and her boyfriend. These stories follow a pattern and anyone could figure them out.
yes, Paul Allen is a good friend- it was his box they were in (he owns the Seahawks) with Maddox for the Superbowl. If they do include people beyond immediate family, yes, Marianne P would be there as would some of their less “visible” work friends. For example, they both love that Simon guy who was the stunt coordinator on Lara Croft, Troy, Mr & Mrs Smith, Salt, WW Z, Tourist, etc. Certainly David Fincher & Eric Roth, that Jillian lady from Girl Interrupted who is Maddox’s godmother. Clint is more likely than Johnny, but Johnny is more likely than Clooney. Well, it’s all just silly/fun speculation….I don’t think Angie is being “poured” into the car either, but it does look Brad is checking out her ass (as usual!). Nice to see that a couple that has been together so long still enjoys each other so much!
Next week’s cover story: Brad is suicidal because Jennifer is getting married.

I think it would be sweet if they got married, but at this point in their lives, they pretty much already are married to each other. They’re obviously committed very much to each other and their children, and the world knows that too (even if the stupid tabloids try to make up stories to disagree with that).
I almost do think that if they ever decide to get married, no one will know until Brad and Angelina’s next red carpet event, with both of them wearing wedding rings, but not saying much more. Kind of like when we finally found out that Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh.

I knew I’d read this before in different locations! The cycle of stupidity in the tabloids is hilarious. It really takes no intelligence to be a tabloid editor. They very likely may get married some day, but I doubt that many details would get leaked so far in advance. The tabs are always wrong. For now, I’ll watch ITW covers with amusement. Will they stay on this subject until September or will there be a story about a new baby/adoption/breakup, etc between now and then? Probably.
@ladybert62 so right cause you know the best way for these two to get publicity is to call up the least reliable tabloid and have them make up a story about a wedding-the tabs never write that story about them getting married, and you know People wouldn’t be interested.

As she enters the car under her own volition, it is cute to see him stare at her rearend with a wicked smirk. The next day on his set, she showed up in the tee shirt he is wearing (or one very similar as it is obviously not hers as it floats on her), so I guess she undressed him and kept part of his outfit–very, very COOL!!

I don’t recall if it was on this site or CDAN, but someone recently asked a question along the lines of, “Who are you starting to like that you ne’er did before?” I couldn’t think of anyone at the time, but I’m really starting to warm up to B&A (sorry — I won’t e’er say “Brangelina…”).
I’m really surprised nobody has pointed this out – neither of them are very Christian. Being as cognisant as they are, I would think that they would take into account the message they would send if they got married in a chapel.

Actually the guestlist is quite realistic except for Johnny Depp. There’s a handful of photos of Brad and Angelina with all of these people. It’s really bizarre how tabloids work. One week they are breakingup because Brad is having and affair with Jennifer Aniston. Then a month later they say they are happily in love and getting married. I don’t picture them having a huge Hollywood wedding. Just family and a few close friends.
