Brad Pitt is in Cancun, Mexico to promote Moneyball, for some reason. It doesn’t come out until September 23, first of all, so this is WAY too early. Second of all, CANCUN? Bitches just wanted a vacation! No, it’s the “Summer of Sony” event where Sony films are previewed in a nice locale, and seemingly only a handful of photographers are invited, so not every outlet gets pics. It’s all done in the dumbest way. So, unfortunately, we don’t have access to the photos of Brad in Cancun – you can see some here, at The Mail. And if you go here, you can see Brad playing with Maddox in the ocean Maddox & Pax playing with a bodyguard in the ocean. There is a new little interview, though:
Brad Pitt may be hailed for his good looks but he’s revealed a sports accident at school nearly put paid to a career in Hollywood. Talking in Cancun, Mexico, where he’s promoting his new baseball movie Moneyball, the actor said: “I knew very little about baseball apart from taking one in the face in junior high.”
The accident resulted in 18 stitches and a scar underneath his left eye.
These days the star prefers to keep off the pitch but added: “I like to play ball with my boys.”
In Moneyball, Brad plays baseball manager Billy Beane. It’s based on the true story of the Oakland A’s general manager’s attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players.
The 47-year-old, sporting a new blonde look, said the shoot was one of his toughest yet and eased the pressure by taking part in high jinx with his co-star Jonah Hill.
“It took so much mental power, it’s important to remember to enjoy your life,” he said.

Wait, what? It “took so much mental power” to play a real-life baseball manager? I’ve seen the trailer for Moneyball – Brad doesn’t really look like he’s doing much heavy lifting, physically or emotionally, in the film.
But I would love to see Brad playing baseball with Maddox and Pax (and eventually ginger Knox). Why can’t the girls play too, though? I bet Empress Z has a good pitching arm.

Maybe, instead of imagining that he doesn’t allow his girls to play ball, they simply aren’t interested? Not every kid is into playing ball, even a tomboy like Shiloh.
Maybe the girls don’t like baseball it’s kind of boring? Or maybe he just mentioned the boys because he’s travelling with them.
Also I don’t think that’s Brad on the beach since in all the other photos he’s got facial hair.
They won’t teach Zahara because she’ll get the paps from a block away with a ball haha 😉
Poor Brad. He’s got the full on Dad clothes in the Daily Mail pictures. Guy’s probably too tired to care about looking cool nowadays.
He does have a bit of a stomach now, but he looks a hell of a lot better physically than most (almost) 50 year olds I work with.
My middle name was Tomboy growing up,I even beat up my brothers a time or two,but playing ball just wasn’t gonna happen for me. Luckily for me,my brothers have forgiven me for those ass-stompins’,because they have grown into big rugged,handsome Hanna’s!!

That’s not Brad swimming with the boys. Brad was seen departing Cancun with Maddox and Pax and he still had that stubble and long blonde hair going on. The shirtless guy is clean shaven and he has darker and shorter hair than Brad. Brad is in the middle of filming a movie, he can’t change his looks so dramatically.
I don’t think Vivian cares whether he plays ball with her or not, that child looks as if she likes nice things,fancy clothes,jewelry, painting her nails and lipstick. That’s the one Pitt and Jolie is going to have to keep an eye on!

Unless he is a Wizard and can grow hair in a matter of hours Common sense says it is not Brad. He and the boys were there for a day then flew out. He landed in London this morning. With both boys. And Brad does not have a pouch. never has.

anyway. Angie said in one of her interviews while promoting KFP2 that the girls are interested in Karate. The boys are in classes and the girls wanted to do it too. I think she said they attend a school in LA with a well known guy.
I like that Brad mixes it up. I also like that he is not nor never was afraid to change his look for a movie role. Most of the films he has done he does have a different look. Unlike a lot of actors.
I think he is an amazing actor, and never gets the credit he deserves. Lots of memorable characters that have stayed in the public memory for a long time. Not many performers can say the same.
He is still a fantastic looking man.

Many “silly feminists” were arrested, beaten and tortured, for challenging the “tradition” of denying women the right to vote, or own property. “Silly feminists” were the first champions of human rights in America and the first to push to abolish slavery and we have “silly feminists” to thank for our right to control our own bodies (although that right is being attacked as we speak in America) so I for one respect and am thankful to anyone, male or female who supports equal opportunity for both sexes.

I think that guy in the Cancun beach pictures is Brad’s brother, Doug. Also, baseballs, and even softballs, are hard. BP’s girls might be too young to play catch still. Getting hit once in the face is enough to turn you off of baseball for life. I actually liked softball as a kid, but I never played till I was 10, and my teacher taught me. Not my Dad. I’d have given anything to have a hands-on, caring dad like BP. I think he and AJ are doing a great parenting job.

@b, IMO, I think Brad is a great actor. Brad said several times he does not care about his looks. If looks was that important to him I’m shore he would not have married his x-wife. Also, as long as Angie believes he looks good, that all that matters to him.

I like actors who try to act. That’s what I pay for, them to do their job. No need to mock BP. This is a big budget film and I think wardrobe insists he wear the clothes they provide. His look (beard, hair)is also a part of the character too. When he finishes this and any movie he can look like and wear what he wants, but until then I hope he continues to try hard and an buy into his acting.

WOW!! still sexy, hot after all these years, even if brad is not shallow about outer appearance, he looks great for any age. he’s a very versatile, respected actor, brad has a lot going for him, even if you don’t like him, it does not change who he is. people are still comparing every one else to him. that says it all, he’s not perfect, but as close as anyone can get. I would challenge anyone to show me a picture of Brad Pitt out of shape. Brad Pitt being “fat” or Bloated. You will not find one. I can sure show a picture of other actors older, younger or same age bloated and out of shape. and not because of a role in a film..
Like him or not this man is 47 and is fit and has the body of someone way younger. And we don’t see pics of him running in and out of a gym. So he is doing something very right.
If this picture had been shown and the face covered. There would have been a world of difference in the comments. I see men on that Hot Guy Friday bloated, fat and balding. I don’t expect everyone to like him or whatever, but to call this man unattractive or fat..

As an only-child girl, I played tackle football (and kicked ASS) with the boys in the neighborhood until after I turned 14. (Boobs are a GREAT distraction!)

I have to disagree with you, katnip. Brad looked a little thick in the middle in Tree of Life. Actually, he looked fine in Tree of Life, since it’s a period piece, but when he was out and about during the filming, he kinda looked ‘thick’ by Brad Pitt standards, but still rather lean by mine. Plus, it was around the time of Angelina’s pregnancy with Knox and Vivienne, so maybe dude was stress-eating, which again, that 10-15 lbs is a lot by Brad Pitt standards, but a drop in a bucket compared to most.
But I do love how some haters ‘yo-yo’ when it comes to Brad Pitt’s looks. Some tried to say he lost his looks after he got with Angelina; then he ‘got them back’ when he rocked his Rusty Ryan suits in O13. The same goes for when he grows out his facial hair and don’t apply the Just for Men; he shaves, he’s getting wolf calls. What haters need to realize is that his ‘aging’ is exactly what he wanted. He doesn’t want to be Tristan or Louie anymore. And frankly, his age-acceptance is probably why he’s getting significantly better roles than during his Golden Boy days.
