Last night was the big LA premiere of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. I’ve been staring at the photos for most of morning, trying to work up some interest in writing about the film or the red carpet, but I’m finding it difficult. Mostly because the film is coming out after too many months of Glee-overexposure and hyper-drama and I’m tired of it – for the latest BS about Glee, go here to EW for their open letter. And I’m lacking enthusiasm because…last night’s red carpet was a parade of fug and trying-too-hard. I guess the star of the red carpet was Lea Michele, who alternated between looking like “This is my red carpet, I own this” and “I hate all of you.” Lea does not have a very good poker face, and you can tell when she’s worried that someone else might be overshadowing her. The dress is Marchesa, and it belongs on someone tall and long-limbed, not on a short, petite girl like Lea. It makes her look like a squat linebacker.
Lea’s biggest style competition was probably Dianna Agron, who I personally think looked like hell. I don’t really get Dianna’s type of beauty, though. Sure, she’s pretty, but she’s just so boring. As for her look – the dress is Christian Cota, and I think it’s unflattering. She’s got a cute figure, but the dress doesn’t do much for her other than air out her biscuits. The hair and makeup are too much too – trying too hard. Also: she looks like Faith Hill now, right? And by that, I mean she looks like she’s in her 40s.
I thought Jayma Mays’s J. Mendel dress was strikingly similar to Dianna’s. Which is funny.
Harry Shum Jr. in a sateen suit. Never a good idea.
Heather Morris in Tibi. Heather is one of my picks for “worst dressed”. The Tibi dress is kind of horrible, but the dress with the booties, hair and makeup? Just awful.
Cory Monteith looks nice. He took the time to get a nice suit, and he got it tailored. Good for him.
Naya Rivera in God knows. Too purple. Too dark for summer. And she’s lost so much weight.
Chris Colfer in NO NO NO. I get that gay guys think they can do weird fashion stuff like whatever is happening with Chris’s tie and collar. BUT NO. Stop.

They all loo like hell nothing special or has that wow factor, if anything Lea dress looks better than the others not that great but its somthing.
Why Lea’s shoes are so big?
Yeah….these guys, much like Gagme, need to tone it down or go away all together. And that’s a lot of fashion fail. Lea is over done, two of them match, SATEEN, and a popped collar….this is the corner apartment of douche central.
Don’t watch Glee and don’t care; but I do agree that there is a lot of fug going on here. Black pantyhose in summer! What is she thinking!
Whoa. You weren’t kidding! Everyone looks horrible. With the exception of Jayma. I would have chosen a different shoe, but I think she looks the best.

I like Dianna’s dress and shoes. Lea’s dress isn’t too awful I guess but this is some terrible fashion. Jayma’s are completely fug. And Naya looks like a bobble head.
I don’t watch the show (no TV) but I hear about them on the Internet, etc.. And sadly, you are correct – they all look terrible. Nothing there that would make me want to watch the show.

Tom, the reason the Leah’s ‘shoes are too big’ is that the only way for her to be able to walk in heels that high if for her to buy a larger size so that the ball of her feet support her weight.
When this style came out my office smoking bud and I would LOL at fashion victims with shoes that were too big on them!
I actually like naya in black hose; nice to see some ladies in hose rather than boring bare legs with tacky lotion slathered on; more importanly, I’m sick of glee, the marketing, hype, promotion, – rm thinks he’s sophocles or shakespeare. ONe more season like last and it will be done; and sorry I don’t see big things for any of these kids oops twentysomethings – go to any large city, ask the first 100 teens and twenty somethings to name all the cast and I’ll bet few could or even care. Like lady xerox, the media attention is out of proportion to how much the public pays attention to or cares. How cheesy is this – consider in the second season of cheers, seinfeld, the cosby show, we would be seeing the movie version. I don’t think so. When you consider the age of these “stars” the endless marketing is tacky and offensive.
Naya looks the best out of the lot I think. Lea looked cute until I scrolled down and saw the shoes were 2 sizes too big…awkward. And Dianna looks pretty but boring in that Paltrow sort of way as usual.
They all need decent stylists!!
Lea’s dress is not that bad, it’s the eye makeup that makes them look too close together and her nose bigger
I know it sounds harsh but for someone who is constantly talking about her nose and how people want her to do plastic surgery she shouldn’t bring too much attention to it (unless that was her intention)
Did Lea borrow the shoes from her mom’s closet? They are easily a full size too big.

Dianna is really pretty, but she always seems to have bad hair, makeup, and fashions and it makes her look a mess. I think she’s trying too hard to be edgy or something, she should go for a more classic look.
All that black lace, Lea looks like she stumbled through some Halloween decorations.
Whoever styled these people should be sacked. Not good. PS why the hell is there a 3D Glee movie? They’re kids singing on stage – nothing worthy of 3D in that is there? Weird.

A big disaster all around! I read a BI the other day about a Glee actress and a raging coke problem and I thought it was Lea. Now looking at Lea, Naya, Heather and Dianna, I’m thinking it could be anyone of them.
I agree there is a lot of fug going on. I will say that it is an awkward time of year for fashion, its not appropriate to wear flashy flowerprints/white where its nearing the end of summer, but its also too soon to break out the dark purple/red fall wear. I’m probably looking pretty fug and mismatched at the moment myself, but then again I have a full schedule and dont have a team of people dressing me….
Marchesa used to make lovely red carpet gowns, but it seems that as of late, they are on this pace to make the most fugly pageant gowns in Hollywood. Married life is certainly not doing Mrs.Weinstein any favors with her designing. Lea Michelle looks ridic as always.

I’ve had the misfortune of having shoes that were too big for me. Obviously, it makes walking in them extremely difficult.
I like Diane’s hair. And I think that Naya looks good, except the black pantyhose makes her look like she’s a waitress in a casino.
All the dresses were underwhelming.
Dianna isn’t too ‘generic’ looking…she is a pretty half Russian Jewish American girl. Who idolized Audrey Hepburn and Lucille Ball. I think aspired to be classy and sophisticated but she is a hispter too and Tim Burton fan.
I think all those sides of her are battling it out, trying to see in what direction to go in completely. I think she has been trying to make better and more interesting fashion choices too because when she was trying to do the sophisticate old Hollywood thing she sometimes ended up looking too conservative and granny like.
So, yea this is edgier but I think it’s because she is trying to find her fashion personality and red carpet style. I liked how she looked at the SAGs in 09 and 10 (or was that ’10 and ’11) and one of the Golden Globes so her fashion taste isn’t all bad.
She needs a better stylist is all.

Please you must have looked at two pictures of Lea she looked like she was having a ball on the red carpet. She was glowing, doing press and meeting fans. I know this site is for bitches but really. Lea was by far the best. Dianna dresses like she is 40. Naya is style is a little trashy . Heather is always the worse.
This show hates women and female characters far too much for me to like it.

It’s like they raided the dry-cleaning bags left in someone else’s closet. Nothing makes sense. Most pieces are ill fitting. Weird accessories and shoes. And they all look disheveled. I mean, did Harry wallow in the back seat of a limo for two hours before the red carpet? They must not get paid as much as we think since they obviously prep and dress themselves. No stylists or full length mirrors by the looks of it.
I think Lea looks nice in the dress, its the expression on her face in some pics that ruins the whole look. Diana is pretty, but the dress makes her look way more bottom heavy than she is, she should wear something to lengthen her legs not bring attention the the widest part. Both very pretty girls though!
Agree that none of the cast look special enough to go onto do something big after Glee. At least they will forever be remembered for this show when it comes on cable tv after Saved By the Bell, 90210, California Dreams, and all the other teen shows where most of the cast fell off the radar immediately after their show was cancelled. I suspect something similar will happen to this lot.
I think Dianna Agron has the most promise, but it looks like she’s done something to her face (more than just the nose job). She used to look so pretty and it’s a shame she succumbed to Hollyweird and felt the need to mess with her face.
Lea Michele is not only ugly, she has already built a bad reputation as someone incredibly annoying and difficult to work with. Maybe she looks unhappy because of all the drama as of late. She knows her star will fall after Glee and it probably keeps her up at night knowing that it’s almost over and the cast ruined their chances of a spin-off because of their complaining.
I really cant stand Lea M – I don’t know why but even looking at her makes me feel allergic and ewwwwww

Jayma Mays it definitely best dressed. Diana Agron is pretty but a bad dresser, and I think Lea Michelle might be feeling over exposed like we think Glee is. Might explain the face.
I think Dianna Agron is beautiful and will become more so with maturity. Apparently she’s quite creative, writing scripts as well as acting. I see a big future for her as long as she stays away from the dodgy boyfriends.
am i the only person out there who kind of hates the really dark charcoal grey/black eye makeup on girls with brown eyes? it looks really jarring.

The video footage of Lea Michele shows her being happy and very gracious. c-Bitchy always posts the worst photos and fabricates unfounded stories about her “arrogance” etc. I have never seen her be anything but pleasant, caring, and gracious. Why the constant judgement and misleading photo choices with made-up crap. These are hard working actors who deserve some credit. They are new to the “red carpet” … cut them some slack … geez. Oh, and why do you slam Lea Michele but let anorexic, unstylish Jolie off the hook.

Naya was SO attractive when the show started. Then she went & wrecked her face. Now she’s starving her body. Such a shame. If there’s a coke fiend in the cast, my money’s on her.

@Ruffian9 – I sort of agree with you about Naya but, Lea really does WORK hard comapared to so many “celebrities” her age who feel entitled to their pseudo “fame” and insufferable exposure. She is refreshing and again, she does not come across as snooty on live interviews. The photos here are the most unflattering and portray a different picture. Not her agent … just sick of other young, talentless, female (and male for that matter) “celebrities” who feel entitled “not” by working hard but by partying and shopping and … whatever.
I think Chris looks amazing. Their is nothing wrong with how he is dressed…he just did something different with his collar and i think it works for him.
